My cover was due for renewal but my credit card provider had changed from ‘Mastercard’ to ‘Visa’ as many customers will have experienced in recent months. In this respect I found it difficult to change my auto renewal card details in navigating your website because it was not an option on ‘Change Details’. Was I wrong or could the site be changed to show this option ? Hence the reason I gave only 4 stars.

My breakdown cover seems to be a reasonable price, although I am puzzled by the £11.50 fee charged when my policy is on auto-renewal.

I found this product on a site recommended by Martin Lewis. This was easy access and straight forward for myself and my wife and the cost was competitive.

Excellent service. I was recommended by a friend who has used Auto Aid for years. I just wish I had done it sooner. Great value for money and such a quick response when I had to call out for a wheel issue on my van.

The price is very little for knowing your covered for any eventuality
Never needed to use thankfully but it's there just in case.
The process in joining is straightforward and on renewing you are notified well in advance you are given 2 options renew or leave no pressure but I would not chance cancelling because you could be stranded by the roadside scratching your head

Way cheaper than any other policy I can find and has all the features of the more expensive policies.

Shocking! Been with AutoAid for quite some years. Reported a breakdown with our Motorhome 400 miles from home. They called to say that as the motorhome is over 15 years old, they wouldn't help us!

I was aware that vehicles over 10 years old were subject to a £25 call out fee - they seem very clear about this, but had absolutely no idea that over 15 years, they simply wouldn't respond.

They did call back with a gleeful offer to get us home for £2,400!

It's a very sad situation that you find out how good or not your cover is when you're at the far end of the country!

I will certainly NOT be renewing with them, and I would urge others to read very carefully the terms and conditions - if they can leave you in the lurch, they will happily do so.

Have been using Auto Aid for years, on recommendation of Money Saving Expert. Excellent value for money and have always had good service during breakdowns.
