My elderly mum reached out to Hidden Hearing after getting a leaflet through the door.
I was with her at home when he (Andrew) called. I have biannual NHS hearing tests but I’ve never had one like this. Andrew was extremely thorough. He spoke to both of us, not just to me or my mum. He explained everything he was going to do and why. He brought out diagrams and pictures and explained them. When it finally came to showing mum the hearing aids, he got them out set them up and popped them in her ears. Yes after a few minutes she noticed the difference, we even did the tv volume test and she couldn’t believe how high she needed the tv volume to be and how low it was with the hearing aids in. Now my mum has difficulty picking up a sewing needle as she has arthritis and numbness in her fingers, she also has very narrow ear canals and not once did he give her the chance to put them in or take them out (I know she’ll struggle with that). After about 20 minutes of wearing them Andrew went into the important aspect of his visit……the price. These hearing aids were the top of the range, the best of the best, all bells and whistles. The only thing they don’t do is make a cuppa. But for a staggering £5000, cash, credit/debit card or finance. If you have any old hearing aids you can trade them in for a £2000 discount. This includes a lifetime of warranty and help. At 86 she’s not made of money and declined them. He then said that they have cheaper ones but they are not as good as these ones. You see he wanted a sale but he wasn’t as pushy as some sales reps. He packed up his gear and said he’d phone her in a week, which he did and again she declined. He was well mannered and polite. Hats off to Andrew.

He went into detail about the problems I'm having hearing showed me everything on the graph and made sure I could fully understand what is happening. When he tried the hearing in my ears I was amazed at what I'm missing

I was really impressed by the thorough assessment of my hearing at Hidden Hearing Liverpool. Troy clearly explained what he was planning to do at each step of the way. He visualised my tympanic membranes, assessed my ability to hear pitch, volume and different sounds, and my ability to differentiate between a spoken sentence and background noise. I was comfortable throughout the process. I would highly recommend Troy and Hidden Hearing to anyone who wants their hearing assessed.

Ear wax removal. Everything was explained and photos were taken before and after wax removal.Nothing was too much trouble and Terri explained the procedure in a professional and friendly manner, Highly recommended.

Troy lent me A set of hearing aids which were the next model up from mine I have to say they were absolutely fantastic. The sound quality was outstanding. It also came with noise reduction and wind reduction which was great on the Golf Course a great big thanks. I was sorry to give them back.

Fantastic service all round from suggesting possible hearing aid options, to check ups making sure everything is working optimally, Troy has been the person who has helped me. My recent ear wax removal session by Terry was also very easy and quick.

I had a very thorough hearing test yesterday and issues which I raised with my aids were dealt with and resolved by a very patient staff member Troy.
On a previous visit when I was anxious about
wax removal I saw a very careful and reassuring young women whose name I cannot now recall.

I visited Hidden hearing today and beforehand felt quite nervous but upon arriving, I was made to feel very comfortable and at ease. The man on reception was very welcoming and Troy who is the audiologist was very calm and friendly. He provided me with a lot of very useful information and explained each test thoroughly. Troy is a credit to his team and I was very pleased with the experience. I also learned a lot and will pass this onto other family members who are also finding some issues with their hearing.
