Before i go to shop i check my balance using their link just to know how much should i spend I saw I still have £44.17 and then when i was going to check out and scan the card it says no balance 0 balance, i ask the sales attendant to check my card ita states in reciept that no balance at all but then I can see that they took the £44.17 with UN code unknown!!!!

A better payment experience would be great
The only downside that I can see, is the payment method. I don't understand why gift cards have to be topped up through World Pay rather than ASDA directly. My debit card won't go through, presumably owing to risk, whereas I can use it perfectly ok to buy groceries, which means the only way I can top up my gift card is by credit card which incurs interest.

Gobsmacked!
My debit card details were cloned and used to buy two £25 gift cards from here. I contacted customer service to inform them of the fraud, whilst sympathetic they were of no use whatsoever.
I am most surprised to receive a message to rate my purchases!
