Why can't you buy giftcards in store?
It's a shame you can't buy the giftcards in-store. I had to help a lady in her 80s who wanted to send a gift card to her daughter. She'd been to her local ASDA but couldn't purchase a giftcard. When she came to buy it online, she couldn't verify her bank card as she only has a landline and she was receiving help at a community centre. Why make it so difficult for people?

Inconsistent experience
I have always rated the giftcards website, used it for years with no issues.
Unfortunately, the last few months it’s been so hit and miss as to whether or not I’m able to top up cards, and it’s really disappointing. I’m always told the same thing when I contact customer service - try different cards, wait 48h. I’ve tried multiple cards and Apple Pay and it won’t work. I’ll continue to top up my card to where I want it for Christmas this year, but I’m honestly debating going elsewhere going forward.

Ripped off.
I bought a card for £50 online at Asda. It was redeemed for only £25. Asda did not wish to know that I had lost 50% of the value.
Do not use them.
