Easy to order
Easy to order. Had problems with other's websites and ordering systems. Great tracking. Next day delivery arrived, no problems. Other company's have not been as organised or reliable. Products received are great, dearer than other companies but worth the hassle free system...

I ordered 10 tablets of a high quality pastel paper made in England I have used for years. What they sent me was a very cheap imitation. I absolutely would never use this company again. If you do use this company there is a good chance you are buying cheap imitation goods from China.

We would just like to reiterate what we already told the customer when he complained of this issue directly to us...
We buy all our products directly from manufacturers, or reputable wholesalers. In this instance, the pastel paper in question was made by Daler Rowney and bought by us, directly from Daler Rowney. It is possible that the paper may have changed since the customer last bought some - products do undergo updates/redesigns etc from time to time. However, in no way was it a 'cheap imitation'.
We replied to the customer to say all this and ask for further information as to exactly what was wrong with the paper, but we never received a reply.
Our returns policy states that you are able to return goods at your expense, if you are unhappy with them. If they are faulty we will always refund or replace free of charge.
I have bought art supplies for a few…
I have bought art supplies for a few years from Ken Bromley. Until now I have not had any reason to complain. Roughly six months I bought a few tubes of Ken Bromley's 14ml "artist quality" watercolor paint. Last week I needed to open one of these tubes as I had finished the old one. This was Cadmium Red 86111. I have to say over 50% of what came out of the tube was just binder, absolute waste of my money. I tried the other tubes and they are a little better but there is too much binder in the tube. I asked Ken Bromley to replace the tube but have not received a definitive answer yet, just an e mail stating that "it was some time ago", doesn't matter, I have had tubes in my box unopened for ages before and they are all right. In future I will stick to my usual paints, a bit dearer but the quality is always consistent. Ken Bromley's are by no means the only art company for me.

Hi, I have only just seen this review, so this is a late reply. I have just checked on this particular order and can see that we sent out a replacement paint on the 13th June after the customer had emailed us. Sometimes the pigment and binder separate a bit (it happens more with certain pigments) but often, it is just a little bit at the beginning of the tube, which is why we asked if you were able to mix it in. However, sometimes it can just be a faulty tube or paint and we will always refund or replace any faulty items. In this case it was 6 months after the paint was purchased.
There was a small delay in our reply to the customer to let him know we were sending out a replacement and he was very happy with the service in the end. Unfortunately, this review had been written before then.
