I rarely leave negative reviews

I rarely leave negative reviews, but Booktics has been one of the most disappointing plugins I have ever used.

The plugin is filled with bugs, and unfortunately the experience seems to get worse with each update rather than better. The most serious issue we encountered is that payment statuses are being marked as "Fully Paid" before payments are actually completed. For any business relying on accurate booking and payment information, this is a critical problem.

What makes the situation even more frustrating is the lack of timely support and resolution. I submitted a support ticket on March 1 and, months later, the issue still has not been fixed. The response I received was:

"Regarding the payment status showing as fully paid before completion, we have forwarded this to our development team for review. It will be addressed very soon. Thank you for pointing this out."

While I appreciate the acknowledgment, "very soon" has turned into months without a solution. This bug directly affects business operations and customer trust, yet there appears to be little urgency in resolving it.

If you're considering this plugin for a production business, I would proceed with caution. The concept is promising, but the ongoing bugs, slow development response, and lack of resolution for critical issues make it difficult to recommend.

I run a professional event business and made the mistake of relying on Eventin for my ticketing. It has been an absolute disaster that actively cost me sales and revenue. Here is what you can expect if you install this plugin:

The Disappearing Checkout: The ticket checkout box frequently just vanishes from the landing page. Why? Because the plugin is so poorly coded that it cannot handle standard caching. In modern WordPress environments, forcing users to disable caching just so your basic checkout button appears is completely unacceptable.

Critical Bugs: Stock synchronization is inaccurate (a nightmare for event capacity), and crucial automated confirmation emails frequently fail to send to attendees.

Zero Accountability: When your business inevitably loses money because their software fails to perform its core functions, do not expect any help or decency. Their support team will acknowledge the technical conflicts but hide behind a strict "15-day renewal refund policy." The Checkout / Caching Issue: We completely agree that forcing users to disable caching is unacceptable. Caching compatibility can be tricky in modern hosting environments, but this is a fully solvable issue. We have a dedicated video tutorial and documentation that shows exactly how to exclude the specific checkout parameters from your cache settings so the plugin runs fast without the checkout box disappearing. Stock Synchronization: We took capacity issues very seriously and completely rebuilt the stock management logic. Since version **4.0.7**, the stock synchronization issues have been fully resolved. Email Delivery:Eventin relies on standard WordPress mail functions. However, many modern servers block default PHP mailers to prevent spam, which often causes automated emails to fail. Very poor experience with this company…

Very poor experience with the plug-in Eventin. This was purchased for a client who needed a comprehensive ticketing system for his theatrical production company.

It very quickly became evident that some basic functionality was missing, things like per-ticket booking fees, (a very standard practice in theatres) which they wanted us to install WooCommerce to achieve. Not great when you've just bought what you think is an all-in professional ticket booking plugin and need to install a third-party plugin to augment it.

Eventin also advertised a seating plan option. It turns out that requires a second premium plug-in, which is not made clear on their website we have screenshots to prove that.

We tried contacting their support on several occasions. Responses were very slow due to holidays.

Because of time constraints and deadlines on the project, we had to go a different way and use AI to build a custom system for our client.

We asked Eventin for a refund, and we were flatly refused. So not great customer service either. Rigid refund policies for software that has remote licensing is totally unnecessary and only aids in customer dissatisfaction.

We ended up refunding our client the purchase price of a plug-in that was not fit for use.

This company very much seems to be all about the money rather than customer satisfaction. In all honesty, if you're looking for a decent ticketing system or appointment system, I would recommend that you go check out something like Lovable do as we did and build it for yourself. The support will be quicker, the results will be delivered quicker, and it will be totally customized to your needs.

Per-Ticket Fees & WooCommerce: Eventin includes its own native, streamlined checkout system for standard event ticket sales. However, advanced e-commerce functionalities—like complex tax structures, custom cart handling, or per-ticket booking fees—are bridged through WooCommerce, which is the industry standard for WordPress. We do not currently have a native per-ticket fee option built directly into the core plugin. While we welcome this as a valuable feature request for our roadmap, leaving a 1-star review for a functionality the plugin does not yet claim to have feels a bit unfair to the hard work our team puts in.

The Seating Plan Feature: To clear up the misunderstanding, our seating plan feature is powered by **Timetics**, which is an entirely separate, specialized premium plugin of ours. Designing and maintaining a visual seating map engine requires immense development resources. Other major plugins in the WordPress ecosystem (such as The Events Calendar) also charge separate premium fees for seating add-ons. We treat it as a specialized extension so that users who only need standard ticketing do not have to pay a higher base price for Eventin.

Delayed Response (Eid Vacation): We deeply apologize for the slow support replies you experienced. Your request came during our official Eid national holidays, during which our support desk operates on a minimal emergency schedule. We completely understand that you were facing tight client deadlines, and we apologize for the timing mismatch.
Refund Policy: Like most premium software companies, we have standard verification criteria in place for our refund windows to protect the digital distribution of our product. We always aim to act fairly, but we must follow our established guidelines consistently.

Very good event management tool and support

I had a small problem displaying the names of the participants in Eventin and I called support. They responded very quickly and solved the custom problem in 30 minutes, extraordinary! I am satisfied! I have been using the Eventin platform for almost 1 year for the largest ice rink in Bucharest-Romania and I am satisfied with the results.

New features coming soon

I've only just set up themewinter's Eventin plugin but so far it looks really clean, has some great features and a couple of features I needed that they don't have yet like conditional logic in custom fields and a waitlist option they are currently working on now and will be releasing shortly. So win, win all round!
On top of that, the customer service from Bayezid, the
Sr. Support Engineer is amazing! So fast and helpful and he showed me some temporary workarounds whilst I wait for the new feature releases. Thank you!
