Couldn't recommend ARC Consultants highly enough. From the very first email to every conversation I had with Mr Choudhury I felt comfortable that id made the right decision. His survey was extremely in depth and gave some great advice even on the smallest detail. Worth every penny for piece of mind aline when buying a property.

ARC consultants what can I say im not big on giving reviews but when you get a company like this I think anyone needs to know. from start to finish 100% great they keep me updated every bit of the way and once the survey was done on the same day they rang me and talk me through any issues point by point and even said I can anytime if I needed more help which some company's do not do .and what's so good aswell the price beat lots of company's out there by lots not £50-£70 but by hundreds pounds i think my one was £230 cheaper than the rest keep up the good work

We were quite unsure at the start of the process about which survey level to choose and even which company to go with. After a lot of research, we were fortunate to find Alaur.

He took the time to answer all of our questions beforehand and, rather than recommending a more expensive option, suggested a Level 2 survey when we had assumed we would need a Level 3 — saving us money, which is always appreciated when moving house.

Alaur was incredibly prompt in contacting the estate agent and arranging everything. He called us immediately after the survey to provide a helpful summary, and the following day we received an exceptionally detailed report. It included plenty of photographs, clear recommendations, and reassuring explanations throughout.

Alaur has also kindly offered to arrange a video call if we have any further questions or anything we are unsure about.

Alaur is absolutely fantastic, and I would highly recommend both him and the company to anyone. The whole process was stress-free, thorough, and professional — and Alaur himself is genuinely kind and approachable. Thank you, Alaur!

I contacted Alaur for some advice on a structural survey required on my property. It was for a specific structural report. Alaur was exceptional in the advice he provided. Even though he was unable to accommodate our request but he provided great advice in terms of what I should expect. He also provided another great contact to help us. I wouldn’t think twice about calling Alaur for any further requirements.

Amazing service. Extremely helpful on the phone from initial contact through to after the survey. Extremely detailed report which described in detail all major and minor defects and what action to take. The report was not generic, everything was specific to the property and I could tell it had been written with a high level of knowlege, care, and detail. I will be using again in the future. I booked ARC for a L2 survey in March 2026 so a little delayed in my feedback. I chose ARC firstly because following an initial inquiry into their service I was bombarded with a barrage of follow up sales calls, the price was competitive and Alaur was personable, answered my questions confidently, which reassured me. The service was promptly booked with little leadtime and throughout the process, Alaur kept me informed of next steps, explained the report in detail (and in summary) post survey. Even a few weeks later when I had questions, he happily took my call and guided me.

The overall service was a positive one from start to finish and that’s credit to Alaur. Not only professional, but courteous and personable. Thank you.

This company was a breath of fresh air to work with. Easy to contact, open and honest, their ethical approach saved me £405. They really cared!

Despite me paying them nothing, they went above and beyond to advise me how to maintain my property in the future, even sending me pictures of the key things to look out for.

I rang four other large surveyors before this one, and not one of them picked up my call. I would not hesitate to recommend this service. As a smaller independent, they really deserve your support.

Alaur was instructed to conduct a level 2 survey for me on a potential property. We initially had asked him whether we would need a level 3 and under his advice, despite the fact that he could’ve charged a higher fee - advised us to conduct a level 2 survey which we appreciated.

Once he had reached the property there was an unforeseen issue that meant he was unable to continue the survey yet he still provided further advice to ourselves on what to do next and took time out to advise the vendors who he had no real vested interest in serving. He also charged a reduced cancellation fee and refunded the rest of the funds that we had paid.

Alaur offers integrity and honesty in his business, something often lacking today and I highly recommend using him as a surveyor.
