Fantastic river cruise, first time but definitely not last! The whole experience was perfect food, staff, passengers and excursions.

South Africa tour and Mauritius extension

Everything was fantastic. It really was!

From the start my wife and I were met before he even got through customs, this really helped us as the flight from London to Dubai for seven hours and then a nine hour flight from Dubai to Cape Town. The guy collected all our baggage for us then took us to our guide for Cape Town and beyond. A great start indeed!

It was the first time that we've been to Cape Town and we found it a marvellous experience, especially as our hotel was right on the waterfront. Great location good rooms, fine food and great service. The trips taken from there were to the Cape of Good Hope and Robben Island as well as the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens We found all these locations really fascinating. As the trip was called a taste of Africa we really did have a taste! From the chef's table at Mount Nelson Hotel and the Blind tasting at The Nederberg estate to the cooking experience in the Bo-Kapp, all bases were covered!

The last meal in Johannesburg in the Seven Villa was wonderful a really high-end meal to finish the tour. Contrast that with the simple evening meal in a fisherman's cottage in Arniston - brilliantly basic!

Accommodation throughout was superb, Especially in the game reserve where we had a luxurious suite - wonderful! Great in Arniston too!

Great vehicles for transport driven by a really steady, confident, safe driver.

Guides - brilliant! Annie was keen, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable fitting is so well with the group at the right level. Melissa (Kariega) was a fountain of wildlife knowledge, superb driver and a credit to the company.

So much was packed into a relatively short time outside the capital, beautiful Kysna and of course the fabulous safari as well as the Mauritius add on. A wonderful varied itinerary, which was much appreciated.

In general, the holiday was a delight and one to remember for years to come. Pity it was so far away from the UK! Still we would not have missed it for the world!!

A wonderful experience with interesting places to visit. Accommodation and food excellent, the staff were always so polite and cheerful and so helpful. Everwhere was kept so clean and fresh too.The only minor issue we had was in regard to the guides. Some were excellent, but a couple were poor which did dampen the trip on the day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this holiday and we look forward to our next adventure with APT, thank you.

My only request; not producing a printed city map with excursions is disappointing. It feels a little like virtue signalling, especially when we then get them from tourist offices

The Danube river cruise we recently experience was made even better assisted by the very friendly helpful staff.The included tours were excellent along with the evening entertainment. The 40+ Irish guests made it even better - almost a 7 day party - but not too loud!

This is the second APT cruise we have done & we were not disappointed.
The crew were always smiling & cheerful , the food excellent, as were the tours.
The only thing that could be improved is to make coffee available in the cabin, as well as tea.

From booking to departure nothing was to much bother. Exceptional service from start to finish.

Anton was exceptionally helpful, delighted that we were re booking and interested to hear about previous experiences. What made this exceptional was he helped us tie in with some friends in a different time zone who couldn't call, so we were all able to book separately and link the holidays together.

We made UK friends during a recent APT tour to Vietnam. They wanted to book another tour with APT to India and asked us to come along. As Australians this tour was not available through the Australian APT office. We were able to contact the UK APT office and with the magnificent service from Anton Sandiford the tour was booked with no problems. He sourced all our details from the Australian office and kept in real time contact with me through emails and voice calls (it was almost midnight here by the time the booking was complete). I have no hesitation in recommending APT and particularly Anton!
