Avoid

Very disappointing experience with these movers. I would not recommend them at all. They failed to stick to the promised delivery timeline, were unresponsive, and their communication was unclear and unhelpful.

EDIT in response to Amoov:
Yes, you did request we remove our reviews. If you like, I can publicly name the employee who made the request? We were told to do so to show that we were willing to work with Amoov on a solution, and that we could put our reviews back up if the resolution reached wasn't satisfactory, which it wasn't.

UPDATE:
Just when I thought our Amoov fiasco was finally put to rest (despite us still being out thousands of dollars more than we were originally quoted), I get a request to provide them with more information regarding my last review; otherwise it'll be deleted as not genuine.

Amoov KNOWS exactly who wrote that (& this) review. They had me delete two previous reviews because that was the only way to get them to consider reimbursing us for ANY of the money they scammed us out of. We were assured by one of their employees that he would get us the maximum possible if we would only take our reviews down, so we did. We got less than half what he was implying we would get.

We were informed during a conversation with one employee that the "phishing attempt" we spotted and reported to them (that they had refused to acknowledge as their fault and tried to blame on us or ignore for MONTHS) WAS in fact their fault, and that another customer had fallen victim and they'd had to reimburse them the full invoice amount because of that. Yet we got barely anything back, when we were the reason they were able to catch it so quickly and prevent more customers from falling victim. How is that fair?

I stand by my last - GENUINE - review. AVOID

Terrible movers AVOID

Terrible movers,
After sales part they never answer
We signed for 5 weeks door to door shipment and it took 3 months
They lied about that it is direct shippment
Total transit time alone is 53 days without loading and customs
Totally unprofessional and they lie and ignore your emails messages and calls all the time

STAY AWAY

I wrote to Amoov after my review of Aug 11th, they responded on the 13th and I emailed them back on the 23rd and they never responded since (as ususal).
It just goes to show that social media and reviews are way more important then custommer service, something I unfortunately am getting used to by this company.

A sham operation- do not use them under any circumstances

We are still waiting for our goods after 6 months and paying for our own container . We believe our shipment has been stolen and this company is a sham operation. We are having to resort to getting law enforcement agencies involved.

Again they have issued us a benign response in an effort to keeping our review from coming to light. We are now flying to Europe in the next week to lodge a formal legal complaint with the authorities and use every measure within our (not inconsiderable) powers to ensure no one else suffers the fate we have !

Amoov - take note- your days of ripping people off are numbered !

Affaires perdues! Amoov ne répond pas !

Je ne sais pas où sont mes affaires ni quand Amoov va me les rendre. J'ai déjà perdu plusieurs mois avec cette compagnie. Au delà d'une approche commerciale efficace, les équipes ne répondent pas et sont injoignables après le paiement effectué. Plus jamais je ne ferai appel à eux!

Frustration and being ignored

Day 1: we had ordered a container so we could seal it. Only one tuck arrived. Not enough space to pit everything in so had to wait the whole day for another truck to arrive. What should have taken a dew hours lasted for a
full late day!(asesment of volume was done by Amoov and nothing was added)

All comms were a repetittion of mails and whatsapps with rarely annimmediate response.

Dpartire was delayed by almost a month with promises that we shouldnt worry and incorrect information on when it departed.

Single container ended up being a grouped one (according to the local company who delivered)

Payed insurance but never got a penny nack for dammage)

!!!All Wooden furniture arrived with woodworms!!!

In conclusion … great sales team, all the rest was frustrating and stressfull. There seems to be no coordination. The person in charge of our move changed 3 times so noone really new what was going on. The ammoint of mails, whatsapps and phone calls to get updated was frustrating to the limit.

I tried mailing the financial department about insurance claim and they plainly ignore me.

Stay away if you still can!
I advise all potential victims to read the negative reviews ; you will understand what it is about.
Keep in mind: Amoov has had removed a large number of negative reviews while most positive reviews are fake (check names and contents)
The ammoov contact names are fake (ask them for their ID). The addresses are fake (try checking them), the contract has no reference jurisdiction etc etc.
You will be, like me , charged bogus extra , you will be taken hostage through your goods and eventually they will be "lost".

Moving from Canada to France.
This company needs shutting down.
Got a good quote to move door to door so we used them, big mistake. one day before collection and they cancelled. Red flags should have been flying high but they weren't. A week later and they collected. When our belongings were in France, they notified us and gave us our final bill which had doubled. From 11,800CAD to over 25,000CAD. The car which was part of the shipment and should have been delivered as part of the original quote, they refused to deliver as I hadn't paid for it I was told! There is property damage to the sum of 4800€ and nothing is being done about that even though I paid insurance. So this is a shipping company to stay well clear of as all they are interested in is robbing the customer.

I replied to the message from Amoov dated 11 May 2025, but as I suspected, they never replied back to me.
I have done some checking up on this company and they have ceased trading in France. I am not able to legally do anything about their underhanded trading practices they are doing in France.
Keep away from this shady company.

Yesterday I had an email about the insurance claim I started. It has been declined. The car which I shipped is not covered for dents and scratches because it is over 12 months old. And it is covered in dents and scratches thanks to AMOOV. 2 new mattresses are stained with oil because the plastic sleeves they were contained in bust open. Instead of resealing the plastic sleeves, they were left open so the mattresses are ruined by the oil which was on the floor. I was charged 2500CAD for insurance and it covers nothing. They will worm their way out of paying for any damage which they do to your belongs. I was not asked about the level of insurance cover I wanted, it was added at the highest amount that they thought of. Stay away from this company

La plus grosse arnaque !

La plus grosse arnaque !
J’ai déménagé de Paris à Toronto avec eux. Le budget initial était de 4 000 €, mais il est subitement passé à 6 000 €.
Mes affaires ont été prises en charge le 16 novembre 2024 et devaient être livrées avant le 20 décembre 2024.
Aujourd’hui, nous sommes le 7 avril 2025 et je n’ai toujours aucune nouvelle. Ils ne répondent ni à mes e-mails ni à mes appels.
Ils m’ont volé mes affaires, mon argent (6 000 €) et tout cela dans un silence total.
À fuir absolument ! Ce sont des gens très dangereux.
Une procédure juridique est en cours.
Ils ont ruiné ma vie : tout ce que je possédais était dans ces 53 colis.

Merci de noter que le timing sur les groupages peuvent prendre plus de temps, ceci étant dit, les délais, même pour une solution de groupage, sont trop longs.

Dans tous les cas, ne pas vous inquiéter : vos 53 cartons sont ou en transit, ou en entrepôt.

Super vriendelijk en professioneel. Ons gezin verhuisde van Antwerpen naar Australië. De verhuizers waren ongelooflijk geduldig met onze vragen en gaven ons tips om te acclimatiseren. Enige minpuntje? De douane duurde langer dan verwacht, maar dat was buiten hun controle.

Déménagement d’entreprise exemplaire

Notre société devait relocaliser 7 employés et leurs familles du Luxembourg à Dubaï sur une période de 6 mois. La coordination était complexe, mais je n'ai pas eu une seule plainte. C’était un service très professionnel, avec un suivi attentif et une gentillesse appréciée des collaborateurs. Prestataire très compétent que je recommande.

Last minute move two weeks before Christmas, and they Delivered! Moving in December from Geneva to Boston was not ideal. We feared shipping delays, weather issues, holiday chaos... Yet, AMOOV delivered our belongings on time within 6 weeks. Excellent service and the whole family is very happy!

Genoa to Sydney

My move from Italy to Australia had a lot of complexity—I was moving a vintage piano, and a lot of family heirlooms. What stood out was their ability to address the unique challenges of each item. The piano needed a custom crate, which they arranged seamlessly. They put into every detail, and I was so relieved when everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. I highly recommend them.

En maintenant 8 déménagements internationaux avec 5 sociétés différentes, cela n'était jamais arrivé. Equipe du côté Etats Unis aussi compétente qu'en France (ce qui n'est pas facile étant donné la qualité de service plutôt médiocre en terme de déménagement que nous avons pu expérimenter par le passé aux Etats Unis, à plusieurs reprises).
