Exceptional accommodations! Both the Prague hotel and the Sofia were beautiful hotels and the Amadeus Nova was wonderful: excellent food (although too much!), very attractive staterooms with comfortable beds and an excellent shower. My one complaint would be that, as a single traveler, I felt rather isolated in Prague with no way to contact anyone else. I was surprised that you don’t use WhatsApp to allow interaction. The app would also allow us to read the daily updates conveniently rather than having to find them in the lobby or receive them printed out nightly on the ship (huge waste of paper!). The app would also allow the group to share photos.
Most of the guides were excellent, particularly the gal in Sofia, Maya. The day in Pecs (mildly interesting) and the visit to the fellow in the afternoon where I felt obliged to purchase something were a waste of time.

I would give them 5 stars except the booked and tied a friend who is as traveling on the same cruise together. It meant we had to download all bookings, check in etc together. We don’t live together and this made downloads, check in, registration etc a royal pain in the fanny. It was an assumption by the booking agent that we were together, even though addresses were different. All one had to do was ask….

The guides were wonderful.Everything was well timed and the guides were there at every need and questions. The iternerary was perfect. Good stops and extra tours.

Working with a great company (AHI), that was firing on all cylinders. All personnel were friendly to the point and always asking what else they could do for you. The experience in terms of locations were terrific and of course you just wish the tours lasted longer. The booking process was seamless and a special request at the end just before boarding worked out beautifully.

My trip on the Danube was first class. Received excellent assistance getting signed up for everything. The personal assistance was exemplary and always friendly.

The boat, Amadeus Nova, was new and beautiful, the hotels in Prague and Sofia were top notch (very old, but remodeled with all the amenities), and every member of the staff was hard-working, attentive, and fun. The local guides were very knowledgeable. We had a few problems with the flights going and coming, but those were airline problems. AHI was “just perfect,” and I would definitely travel with them again!

Great Staff, good food. Excursions were informative. Only issue I had was when being met upon arrival, we were told where to wait for the bus. Several of us went where directed. Many others saw friends that they knew and stopped short of where we were directed to go. When the bus arrived, that group were taken, and our smaller group was left. We ended up needing to take an Uber to get to the hotel. One would think they would have known how many people were waiting to be transported and made sure they had everyone.

Everything was amazing. The crew and boat were first class and did an exceptional job. The tours were well planned with very knowledgeable guides.

All of the logistics were handled very well, and I appreciated the daily updates that kept us well informed. I really like the baggage policy of double checking to make sure your bags were loaded on.

This was a well planned trip to Athens in Kalamata with the excellent tour guide Marie who made everything much easier. I didn’t really feel rushed. They had picked excellent sites to tour and-great restaurants. In fact , some of the best food I’ve ever had traveling to different places. They were tour guides at each different archaeological site we visited and who was able to explain significant facts and history. The hotels I thought were good to excellent and the service was very good as I frequently asked for directions in and Restaurant selections. It was great to be with a group. I felt relaxed, knowing everything was already planned out for me . The group was very pleasant friendly Group, which made the trip much more pleasant. I felt it was a great value for the price they charged and I would go on another trip with them in the future.!!!!

Good planning excellent guides and a wonderful agenda.

I thought the AHI people on my Amedaus cruise from Amsterdam to Hungary were the nicest, most helpful, kindest and friendliest people I’ve ever met. The four of them made the trip so enjoyable. Daniel, Arty, Kathleen and Ashraf could not have done a better job. They did everything they could possibly do to ensure we all had a great time.

Primarily it was the tour director, Christina. But the sites that were visited were interesting and well-chosen. Also, there was an abundance of free-time for us to do our own things spread out over the duration of the visit.

The AHI trip to Puglia was spectacular - the tours were optimal, our hotel was perfect and the town of Polignano a Mare was stunning. I really liked the group size of 20, our very knowledgeable and personable guide, and the direct flights to and from Bari. I’d travel with them again!

The best part of the trip was Emanuele Aprea. He is so amazing! He rearranged so many things once the trip started so that we would have the best days to do the water transportation to Capri, Positano & Amalfi. He went above & beyond to make everything perfect, every minute of every single day!! I have been on many trips with many tour directors & he ranks at the very top.
The staff of AHI was great too. The booking process & any questions I had before the trip were handled efficiently & comprehensively.
I loved the unpack once stay! That was a game changer.
I would definitely travel with AHI again in the future.

Great tour guides and lecturers were fantastic! Our tour driver was amazing. Hotel was lovely. Rooms were a bit cramped, but the view was spectacular . Staff were so kind and helpful. Only complant was we had ants in our room when we arrived. But Hotel staff took care of it immediately.

Good day trips

We had a great guide, Christina (spelling?). She was passionate about Puglia, she was personable, helpful, kind and fun to be with.
I appreciated the tours of various towns in Puglia, the lectures before dinner, the winery and olive mill. We had great guides in the various places - Nadia, Stefania, and another whose name escapes me at this moment.
My room was lovely with a view to the Adriatic Sea. I appreciated your accommodation of my vegetarian diet. I only wish the room had Ben ready when we arrive early in the morning. Sometimes the hotels accommodate that she. They know you’re arriving early from an international flight. Still the staff offered us coffee and water, and were vey pleasant that morning and overall.

The meals were delicious in a beautiful breakfast room; breakfast was varied and plentiful.

We had a great small group of tourists and once could engage with each one over the time of travel together. The bus was comfortable and we had a lovely bus driver too.

Christina definitely enriched our tour and I will think of her when I think of our trip.

Excellent Travel Directors who worked nonstop to give us the best experience.

Lots of Alumni groups to interact with.

Good daily excursions with small groups and caring Directors.

Generally good staff to set up the trip payments, excursions, and schedule. Clear booking process.

Needed earlier info on the ship, the extra cash required for Directors tips, dinner dress. Airport pickup missed in spite of receiving new flight info several times.
