Our AHI guide was exceptional. She helped us figure out the next stage of our trip that we were going on our own.
Evening meals at the hotel could have been better. Location was fantastic as well as tour trips and bus driver. Add on cooking experience was a pleasant surprise. Thanks. Plan to participate in another AHI trip. Could have used some pre trip information how to move around Rome airport from International to Domestic. Very frustrating.

I have taken several AHI tours. They all have been exceptional. From the booking to help with travel arrangements make the planning for the tour easy.
The tour itself was superb and enhanced by Alan the tour director and Gary our coach driver made the tour of Ireland unforgetable. The accomodation and meals were 5 star.

Everything was very professionally done. The advanced planning with reading list and everything was very helpful. The tour director made sure that everything was on time and functioned smoothly. She deserves a lot of credit!!!

Our tour director Signey was wonderful. She helped make the trip enjoyable. The itinerary was great but too much. I would have liked to have had more leisure time to explore the lovely villages.
The trip to the Truffles farm was a waste of my time and money. I would have preferred a day at leisure to enjoy some museums. Why was this even included?
The two hours on the last day touring Cezanne's history could have been combined earlier in the week when we were in the same area OR presented with a power point presentation in the hotel meeting room.

Overall Experience
This was a truly lovely trip — the destinations were beautifully varied, and the hotel was ideally situated in Umbria as a home base for day excursions. Staying in one place throughout made the experience feel grounded and relaxed. Valentina was exceptional and a genuine highlight of the trip.
Suggestions for Improvement

Pacing and Itinerary
The overall pace would benefit from more breathing room. Gaps between breakfast (7:30 a.m.) and lunch — often after 1:00 p.m. — were too long, and transit time frequently felt disproportionate to time spent at each destination. Building in more unstructured time for independent exploration would significantly enhance the experience.

Destination Time Allocation
Assisi, Cortona, and Orvieto each deserved more time — a full day in Assisi in particular would have done justice to its depth. Montepulciano, by contrast, did not warrant the time allotted; the visit felt thin and the local guide added little value.

Local Guide Quality
Guide quality varied considerably and had a real impact on the experience. The guides in Assisi, Cortona, and Orvieto were outstanding — knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about their locations. The guide covering Gubbio and Todi, however, fell well short of that standard. She demonstrated limited knowledge of the sites, relied visibly on brochures and websites during the tour, and her English was difficult to understand. This noticeably detracted from both visits. Consistent vetting of local guides would go a long way toward evening out the experience across the itinerary.

The tour directors were tremendous. Made it fun and easy and very patient with some older members of the group. Sights we visited were very interesting and excellent local tour guides-very informative and easy to understand. Great trip overall. There was a lot of bus riding but they were comfortable and we were not crammed into buses-plenty of room to spread out.

Things seemed well organized, and everything ran smoothly. It was a great experience. I liked being in the same hotel the whole week.

Signey was wonderful, helpful, caring, and everything that you want in a host. Veronique is incredibly knowledgeable and answered so many questions about the geography, architecture, and art. I was amazed at Anthony's driving skills, especially in Marseille. Also, the AHI office staff was incredibly helpful ironing out my flight back home since United/Brussels Airlines website was not up to date with my itinerary.

The tour was of mediocre quality. I have provided detailed feedback in another forum.

I already completed the survey you sent. 2-star rating because the visit to Assisi wasn't well planned. No photos allowed in Assisi churches. full disclosure about the no-photos rules should have happened before the tour, not during. Additionally, no time allowed in Assisi to go to bookstores/gift shops where one could buy postcards of the frescoes we weren't allowed to photograph. Too many towns in one day: Cortona and Montepulciano could have been on separate days. Instead they were together in one day and thus exhausting. Cortona could have been combined with the olive oil lunch and Montepulciano with the winery tour. I went to the Perugia art museum on my own -- could have been part of one of the tour days.

have traveled on. The Staff was excellent. Entertainment was minimal. The booking process was
good.

Your trips are always well planned.

As known the hosts are always the difference makers. Paula did a great job on our trip.

The cruise was great , food excellent. Did not really love Lisbon.

Fast paced, lots to do, many choices

AHI goes above and beyond expectations in helping travelers from beginning to end of their involvement. We recently took our second tour with them and there were three AHI representatives along. They were always cheerful and made themselves available for any questions at all times. We stayed in the city after the tour and needed a taxi and then later train reservations. Nadia made all the reservations for me despite complications and her other responsibilities on the last night of the tour. She made sure we were clear about our arrangements in the morning, always with a smile.
All three representatives were knowledgeable and were quick to find out if they didn’t know something. We would definitely travel with AHI again as they are attentive and accommodating to each travelers needs and maintain high standards in all aspects of travel.

It was a Traveling Aggies’s trip with about 20 people on a small yacht running up and down the coast of Croatia. I thought the trip was well done the facilities were nice. The host and guides were very good. The only criticism I would have is you should offer various levels of exercise when stopping at each of the locations for sightseeing. It wouldn’t hardly cost you anything to offer an additional guide for people who want to walk at a fast pace. It was somewhat frustrating to meander around some of the sites and to miss seeing something like the waterfalls and the lakes because everyone has to travel at the pace of the slowest person.
