Absolutely appalling online shopping experience with Adidas.
After waiting more than three weeks for my order, I was finally informed that it was "lost". Throughout the process I received conflicting information from multiple customer service representatives, was repeatedly bounced between agents, and even had a call disconnected without my issue being resolved. The online chat service was also unavailable on several occasions despite being advertised as open.
What frustrated me most was the lack of accountability. After contacting the courier directly, I was advised that the parcel had never been received by them, which was also reflected in the tracking information showing no movement. Despite this, responsibility appeared to be shifted elsewhere rather than Adidas taking ownership of the issue.
Since receiving the news that my order was lost, I have looked at online reviews and wish I had done so before placing my order. It is alarming to see so many reviews dating back years describing the exact same problems: lost orders, poor communication, inconsistent customer service, and difficulty obtaining refunds. The fact that these complaints have been raised for so long with seemingly little improvement is incredibly disappointing.
I am still awaiting my refund and have now had to formally escalate my complaint.
Based on this experience, I will not be purchasing from Adidas online again.
Appalling shipping times. Frozen tracking for 2 weeks and a generic discount code.
Ordered a pair of shoes from the Adidas NZ website on May 24th, expecting standard retail delivery times. Instead, my order has been stuck on "Booked" for two full weeks with absolutely zero tracking movement. The courier hasn't even picked up the physical box yet.
To make things worse, Adidas unilaterally added a 3-week delivery date (June 8th) to my account more than a week after I had already paid, guess what, 5th June and still no updates to any status. Under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act, they cannot just change the delivery terms after a purchase is complete. Without being upfront, you would expect 3-7 days, not 21 days, from a company operating within New Zealand and using .co.nz.
When I complained about the delay, customer support just gave me a 15% discount code (on full priced items) as a "sorry." Why would I want to spend more money with a company that can't even get my first order out of the warehouse? Shocking service for a major global brand. If my shoes don't arrive by the deadline on Monday, I will be rejecting the goods and demanding a full refund.
Terrible delivery times…

Just checked site for status update of latest order and - surprise! It says delayed! Of course adidas haven’t notified me of this, only found out when I went to check why parcel had t arrived.

I made an order online
I made an order online. The delivery time was incredibly slow, over 14 days, and once the order was one day overdue for delivery, they sent an email cancelling the order. These shoes are my sons school shoes, and we have now missed all the Easter sales. Frustrating, and need to wait at least three more days for a refund.

It’s very strange that such a big name like Adidas operates in such an abysmal level in New Zealand. I’ve never seen anything like it.
I placed an online order on March 8. Today is April 10 and the order hasn’t moved and they haven’t issued me a refund. I’m sick of their robotic customer service who copy/paste robotic responses when you keep following up. At this point, I’ll resort to my card issuer to get my refund because Adidas New Zealand are simply thieves, or even worse, they are not aware that they are being thieves.

All I can say is that whoever the CEO of adidas.co.nz actually is, needs to be sacked. They should be ashamed of themselves for how bad their company really is. The products do not come from NZ and their Australian based logistics is an absolute shambles. It took three weeks for my products to arrive, after contacting their call centre 3 times and wasting hours trying to find out what was happening with my parcel. They were friendly enough at the CC but weren't even able to track my parcel. I'm only giving 2 stars because the products were packaged well and priced reasonably. Other than that, an absolutely terrible experience and I will never, ever purchase anything from adidas.co.nz again.

Like many other reviews on this site, I placed an order 5th March which has still not arrived. After several calls and emails, I was finally given the following -
“Two cages containing thousands of orders were mistakenly handed over to Australia Post, which is the courier used by adidas Australia, instead of Toll, which handles deliveries for New Zealand. Because of this error, we are now in the process of recovering the affected orders little by little.“
I’m really disappointed given the reputation and size of adidas, I’ve ordered from other global brands with no issue and the poor communication that went with the error. I understand that mistakes happen but it shouldn’t take 5 emails and 4 phone calls to get an answer.
I would try to use other online providers if you can - they will likely be more trustworthy and transparent given customer relationships will be more important. Lesson learnt.

05/03 - delivery booked, but no updates have progressed. Expected delivery 15/03.
18/03- Delivery received.
I think the main takeaway is to not order from here unless you are shopping 1-2 months in advance for a present. The extra discounts does mean you are paying a lot less than retail but it comes at a cost of delivery time, I mean $112 for 3 pairs of kids shoes and socks is a score. I think if they reflected their delivery timeframe to the experience of customers, then it wouldn’t be as bad.

Do not order from here. I ordered a pair of trainers at the beginning of February and a month later, still haven't received them. Received an email saying they had been dispatched on 19th February, but the tracking link I was given never updated. I have no idea where my order is. After contacting customer service I was told they believed they were in customs in Auckland. I was told I'd receive an update in 2 days, but had to follow up myself. I've been fobbed off multiple times with promises of escalation and updates. All I want at this stage is a working tracking link so I can see where the order actually is. I will never order from this website again. Incredibly poor customer service overall.
Endless problems with return and…
Endless problems with returns and refunds. Two months and still unresolved. Too many problems to mention. Seems woefully understaffed. Staff seem to have no power to assist, so they lie about ‘resolving’ and ‘escalating’. Feel sorry for them. Bad leadership and processes, resulting in a debacle. Better to talk to bank to dispute charge.
Avoid at all cost
Ordered shoes on the 11th of Feb, still yet to receive them... Customer service incredibly difficult to get in touch with, live chat drops out and representatives close off the option to save chat or give feedback, only one of the 3 people I spoke to actually followed up with me.
This morning I received an email saying the order had been delivered, after calling the help line I was told it had been handed over to a rural delivery agent and was emailed an updated tracking link with another courier company, Post Haste. This afternoon I discovered that my parcel is currently being fumbled around Auckland... I live in Gisborne, the problem of which was not understood by the next customer service representative that I spoke to, instead I was advised everything is okay, it is had been handed to the rural delivery agent and will take another couple of days... Again, the delivery agent is located in Auckland while I am in Gisborne.
First and last order. I wish I had checked the trust pilot score beforehand.

I brought adidas shoes off the web. They were too big so I went to exchange them at the store in Auckland. This is not allowed apparently and I wasn't told when I brought it. I asked for the manager to call me but he never did.
Don't buy off the web for Adidas. Buy from Platypus or somewhere else. Adidas service is terrible.

Took over a month to receive order. Main reason for ordering was the shoes, but purchased additional items to be eligible for free shipping. Adidas emailed a month later saying shoes were out of stock and refunded. Wouldn’t have purchased the other items had I known the shoes were out of stock. Wouldn’t recommend buying online from adidas NZ. You would think a reputable brand like adidas wouldn’t have these kind of issues. Wish I had checked here first before purchasing.
