Re tensioned and aligned 64 garage
Firstly I must apologise for the late review! From the beginning of the job when I contacted Clinton who answered the phone promptly at around 07:34 was amazing! His tone on the phone was professional and understanding to the needs of my repair. He booked John in to do the repair, who arrived within the timeframe allotted and was again, professional and attentive to detail to realign and tension my garage door, to what is now like a brand new door again. So thank you all for your wonderful service.

I called with a breakdown, a service engineer was booked who turned up on the correct day and time and resolved the issue with my garage door promptly and professionally and left after 20 minutes for a sensible service fee charge.

Repairing an Access Garage Door
We have had Access Garage Doors for a good number of years. The equipment is of a good quality. However, today the garage door got stuck open so I called them to come and repair it. Today is August 28, 2026. They said they could not send out a service engineer until mid October 2026, so from a service point of view I would avoid this company. This is the second time they have failed to provide emergency servicing.

While we provide repairs and servicing, we don’t operate an emergency call-out service and, during particularly busy periods, our engineers can be fully booked some weeks ahead. Unfortunately, this means there are occasions when we simply cannot attend as quickly as a customer needs us to. We completely understand that in your circumstances the wait we offered wasn’t suitable, and we’re sorry we weren’t able to help you on this occasion.

Even where an adjustment can be completed quickly, the charge also covers the engineer’s travel, time and expertise, along with the costs involved in providing the service. In many cases, the right experience is what allows an issue to be identified and resolved efficiently. We hope you’re pleased that the door is now working as it should.
Good but long wait
The fitter was good and knows his stuff. Unfortunately I had to wait 2 weeks for him to be available. When he did come he immediately knew the problem and all I had to do was fully open the door! This could have been advised over the phone.
