Terrible experience at Bristol airport. They don’t answer the phone, are hard to understand and turn up late resulting in extra charges at the short stay car park. Would never use

Beware!!! This is a scam company that will take your money and leave you waiting for an imaginary service. Booked through Luton Airport comparison, thought this was a legitimate service only to be directed to a different car park (meet and greet booked; told Luton didn’t allow ‘due to security reasons parking on the day of my departure’). Asked to wait for a driver who is working 2-3 mins away. 45 mins later and almost missing my flight no response from the company with another 3 cars waiting at the same car park with me with same issues.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...rang ahead to drop the car off at the Bristol short stay ...Got there but didnt know who we had to contact and was only luck that one of there opperators asked us our name ...Gave him the keys and was told when i come back the car will be delivered back to the same point.9 days later and 00:30 in the morning.... rang up the company on 07926402946...number is out of order ..couldent beleave it however there were three other famlies who were also now stuck..then one of the couples found another number that worked...eventualy got through to a person who did not have much of a grip of the english language and was told a man will be with us soon...01:20...eventualy a man said our name and then proceded to tell us that he didnt have my new car and we had to go two miles away where it was stored.....We jumped into his mates car including the baby seat in the back and was driven away to a pub carpark !!!we jump out...he shows me the car key....then goes to collect it ...comes back no car and could we get back into his car as its stored 5 miles away(02:00).We said" NO AND WE WANT OUR CAR"they drive off..20 mins later car arives.We get the key and then they drive off shouting we got to do this all again now....we arrive at home at 03:30 instead of 02:15.and totaly worn out and reflecting on what just happened.If i could give this company a minus then I would ...so minus 100 points ..DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

This was the worst experience with airport parking ever in my life. We went to Prague from Bristol airport and when we arrived at midnight, we were calling the company to find out when next shuttle bus will come pick up the people. At first they said in 2 minutes, no one was there. After i called them again they said 30minutes, again nothing. The worst part is, that they lie to you few times and after that, they dont pick up your number anymore and totally ignore you to leave you stranded at the airport with no info at all. There were people gathering and waiting with us for same shuttle bus, families with kids freezing at 2am and they couldnt care less. When shuttle bus arrived after 2 HOURS of waiting with no info at all, rude driver didnt said "Hello" or "Sorry" just packed the bus with more poeple than had seats and drove us to the parking. Where was some person that looked like just woken up and as i didnt leave them my car keys, send me look for my car in middle of the field between other cars in total darkness. NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE even if they paid me for choosing this horrible company. AVOID!
They will also scam whole bus for "ramp charge" which they have to pay twice [on the way in and out], yet they charge all 15 people at one bus.

Stay away from this company! Do not make the same mistake I made and fall for the reviews on the ‘parking 4 U’ website of 4.8. I’m kicking myself that I did not check on trustpilot before booking my Bristol AirPort Meet and greet.
So Late for drop off that I had to send my wife off to bag drop before it closed. Not answering the phone after multiple calls. Took 1 hr 15 mins to get my car to me on pick up. When I did actually get through to them on the phone, I could barely understand what they were saying. And to top it off when my car was delivered it stunk of the driver’s very strong BO !

Will never use again. Waited over an hour and a half for our pick up back to our car. No organisation of allocated places for people. Doesn't answer calls. Miles away from airport

I would not book with A1 Airport Parking again.

I paid £85.55 for Bristol Park & Ride believing this was the price of the service.

Only after the booking had been completed and paid for did the confirmation make additional airport/barrier transfer charges clear. Then, when I actually arrived to park my car and needed to get to the airport for my flight, I was required to pay another £17.

At that point, what choice does a customer realistically have? Your car is already there and you have a flight to catch.

My issue is not simply the £17. It is the way the total cost is presented.

If an additional payment is mandatory in order to get from the Park & Ride car park to the airport, that cost should be shown clearly as part of the total price BEFORE the customer commits to the booking — not become apparent afterwards.

I have now formally complained and requested an explanation and refund.

My advice to anyone considering A1 Airport Parking: check every charge very carefully before paying and do not assume the price shown when booking is the final amount you will pay.

Based on my experience, I would choose another airport parking provider.

Only gave 1 star as I had too, no staff on site on arrival, long wait on both journeys as they what hours to fill the bus each trip, they lie on phones calls about were the bus is.
Stay clear of this company They then over filled bus beyond capacity

Extremely disappointing experience at Stansted. We waited around 30 minutes for our car to be collected and 40 minutes for it to be returned. Communication was very poor, calls were cut off, staff were not clearly identifiable, and there was a complete lack of organisation.

After finally returning our car, the driver and another member of staff walked away laughing while we were clearly frustrated, which we found extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.

To make matters worse, we were charged an additional £21 at the exit barrier.

This is not the convenient Meet & Greet service we paid for. We have submitted a formal complaint and are awaiting a response.

Very dangerous driving to and from airport. Driver recorded at 56mph in a large minibus in a 30mph zone. Really long waits and sneaky hidden charges.

AVOID AT ALL COST!

Do not use this company. Postcode BS40 5EX as they apparently change company name.
Usually I use oakwood who have been great every time but this time their website said they were unfortunately able to accept large vehicles so thought we'd try this place. What a mistake!
The drive down to the parking area which is on a farm and the driveway is full of potholes! Arrived early hours of the morning with small children and they only had one shuttle running. We couldn't get on it and by the time it would have returned we would have been late. Ended up having to use my own vehicle and had one of their staff drive it back, who fell asleep on the way to the airport! If we hadn't done that we would have missed our flight. 
Arrived at the airport and had to pay £17 for the airport barriers!
Coming home, had a 3 hour delayed flight, rang as soon as we landed and was told it would be 30-40 mins. Around 2 hours later, it finally arrived. We were stood with others who were calling and getting fobbed off. Put on hold, but then the company would answer another phone when someone else rang. Completely shocking outfit. This company couldn't organise a p**s up in a brewery. Cheap for a reason, avoid at all costs.

The service is terrible - I have been waiting nearly an hour, the phone line is not answered.

My car is still not here and there is no news about when it will arrive. Do not use This company.
I will be seeking a refund

Save yourself the stress & trouble and book somewhere else - anywhere would be better than this place

Awful service took ages to answer on arrival to airport which caused panic with flight times wasnt helpful when answered, then on return wouldnt answer call not needed after a long day travelling called for over a hour no answer i had to eventually walk around car park to find a member of staff to get my car back awful service bristol

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Booked for parking and once you payed they wanted another £20 for gate frees that were not explained when booking. Parked my car and waiting for the shuttle bus. On our way back from holiday, we waiting at the pick up point for over an hour and a half. Couldn't get through to them for ages. Finely after many calls, they said they'll be 10mins... half an hour later then said they were just leaving. When we finely got picked up the driver was very rude and blatantly lied about him coming back every 14mins. When we finely got back to the car park, my car had moved for some reason and my bonnet was on the latch for some unknown reason and there was scratched down my car and odd markings on the inside on my windscreen (god knows what went on) The guy there was just sleeping in the car. The whole thing was so unprofessional. AWFUL COMPANY!

Shame I can’t leave less. DO NOT use this company if you’re wanting to get home any time soon. We could have walked there and back in the time it took us to be picked up (1hr 10 mins) despite being told 30-35 mins then that they were on their way twice afterwards (it’s a 10 min drive at best).

Just scammers like the other reviews said. I wished I checked before! Hid the 20 quid drop off charges, hid the fact that they are miles a away from the airport (Bristol). Cancellation fee is 15% and takes 5 to 6 weeks to proceed ! Can't get through on the phone and if you finally do it is impossible to have a conversation as the sound on their side is so bad

Whatever you do, dont buy parking from this company!

I was made to pay 25% more than was advertised. They do not have a stand in stansted airport, they make you pay to park at short stay for 13 pounds (when dropping and receiving) And they also take forever to collect or drop off your car.

They do this while under cutting the real meet and greet facility provided by the airport.

It took 1 hour to collect my car, another vehicle driver almost missed his flight, while a third vehicle was left stranded at short stay.

We could all have been better off parking at long stay!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY PLS. They are scammers and tried to send us to an unknown address and pretended the drop off at luton was closed. Had to find an alternative at 4am.

1 star is too much – Refund not received after 6 weeks, unprofessional customer service
I booked with A1 Airport Parking (Premium Park & Ride Luton) and cancelled the same day via their live chat. The agent confirmed the cancellation and said the refund would be processed within 5 business days.
Six weeks later, I still have not received my refund. Every time I contact them, I get the same copy-paste response: "Your refund is in process, you will receive it in a few days." No dates, no confirmation, no action.
When I mentioned their many negative reviews online, they told me the reviews are posted by competitors. After this experience, I can confirm the negative reviews are absolutely genuine!!!!
I would not recommend this company to anyone. Stay away and use a reputable parking provider instead!!!!!
