I can no longer count the records bought from Zoverstocks. Only one time a record took to long to arrive. They've sent another and I ended up receiving both. CD's always in good condition. Nice prices.

I always use Zoverstocks whenever possible. Never had a problem. Always prompt, efficient service. Will continue to use and recommend. japbike1000

This company js great. No complanints. If i had on it would be take to long on delievery.

I have bought many items from Zoverstocks and Estocks (their trading name on Ebay). I've only had a problem with one PC game and customer services have been great about it. They sent a replacement straight away and told me that they didn't need the original game back. Although the graphics problem on the second disc was the same, they gave me a Freepost address to send it back to and are providing a full refund. All the items I've bought have been in great condition, are very cheap and arrive quickly.

I had to leave a review on here as I couldn't believe the low rating. I have been using these guys for ages and have made about 20 purchases from them, very prompt and I found excellent customer service. I had an issue with an order that turned out to be my fault, but they sorted very quickly. Now I always look for Zoverstocks when shopping, even if they are slightly more expensive (which is rare)

Have been ordering from them for years from the US and always got good used CDs, complete, hardly even broken cases. Shipping was reasonably fast and the prices low for music others did not seem to appreciate anymore. Their loss - my gain.

I ordered 2 CDs through Amazon marketplace, the first package arrived 5 days after ordering. It was a CD that I hadn't ordered, so I sent it back. Two days later another package arrived this time it was one of the CDs ordered. A week later another package arrived, the same CD again.

Their customer service reply to my messages with an automated email telling me that the other CD was dispatched the same day as the first... three weeks later it still hasn't arrived.

So I'm stuck with a CD I don't want because they won't give me a returns number, because all they send is the automated email...

I have porchased 50+ items CD's DVD's and all have arrived before est delivery time, all as described, excellent price, except one which full refund was given in 48 hours.

I ordered a disc through Zoverstocks Amazon Market Place. This was a cd of the stage show "Blues in the Night" in V.Good condition at the bargain price of 84p + £1.26 post = £2.10.
A week later it didn't arrive. I queried it with Zoverstocks and they said give it a bit longer... Post delays .. Blah..blah. At this time I looked for another copy and saw that Zoverstocks were listing a copy of this self same cd, in the same, v.good condition, but now at a much higher price £4 +++ & £1.26 post.
If this company offered fair to reasonable service I believe they should have sent me a replacement for this first Copy that was " lost in the post'. They simply refunded the £2.10.
I did complain and suggest that they could have given better service, but to no avail.
I believe that the first copy was never sent as they realised their price of 84p was TOO cheap.
Avoid unless you want inferior service!!!

I ordered a disk from them, it turned up as expected but with a HUGE scratch round the outside of the disk which meant that it was unreadable.
Very disappointing...

Although their products will always be 1p cheaper than it's rivals, the delivery is slow and the customer service is non-existant. they use software to undercut other sellers by 1p, meaning private sellers trying to clear their dvd collections can't compete.

Always use zoverstocks. Had many items over the years and never had a problem. I find dvds or cds always in great condition always arrived well before there time.

Regular user and have found Zoverstocks to be well priced and good service.

I have ordered from Zoverstocks on many occasions on play.com and never had a problem. On one single occasion I have the wrong game in a box, but the offered to refund me in full or replace (i asked for a replacement) which arrived only a few days later.
Other than that, never had a single problem with items always arriving on time.

I have shopped at Zoverstocks through amazon.co.uk many times. I have had no problems with Zonverstock and the times my item haven´t arrived, I have just contacted them and they have either refunded my money or send me a new product.
Only negative I can say is, that some times when I have recieved and item, it has been a little broken in the casing due to poor protection in the package.
But that is only a small issue.

I am seeing all these bad reviews and wondering why. I have never had a problem with zoverstock. Obviously you wonder first due to the cheapness of the DVDS/CDs whether you would be getting a good product, but other than that I end up with all my parcels arriving on time in the despatch times they provide and other than a couple of times they are in fantastic condition. On the two occasions I have emailed to request a refund, they have apologised and issued a new product at no extra cost to me. I suppose it could be depending on where you purchase but i have always purchased via amazon.co.uk and recieved nothing but a fiance complaining at the number of bookcases full of DVDs! I Couldn't say a bad word about Zoverstocks and unless something drastic happens, they will always be my first stop. My sister has started shopping from them too and thanks me for the recommendation !

i have used zoverstocks for over 2years now,never ever had any problems,always good service from them,and quick posting,cannot say anything bad about them.

I wanted a particular CD which zOverstocks listed on Amazon.com, but not on Amazon.co.uk. Because I particularly wanted the item I was content to pay the enormous P&P from the USA. When the item arrived, in the same post as another item ordered from zOverstocks via Amazon.co.uk, it was labelled by zOverstocks as coming from Stockport. I asked for an explanation and a refund. I got none. I took zOverstocks to the Small Claims Court. zOverstocks' reasoning is that they are unable to differentiate a UK address from any other so the unnecessary P&P was reasonable because I, as a UK resident, had ordered the item via Amazon.com, at the same time admitting that an item ordered that way from a US recipient will only attract $3.99 P&P, as opposed to the $14.95 for a UK recipient! If they can differentiate enough to decide whether to charge $3.99 or $14.95, they must be able to recognise an address. zOverstocks’ defence is, to my mind, absolute tosh and just an excuse to charge exorbitant P&P, if they can get away with it. Amazingly, zOverstocks is contesting the case! I think their “big boy” posturing is designed to frighten away any dissent. I await the decision of the court.

Another point, as others have mentioned, is that zOverstocks often does not seem to actually hold the item you have ordered. This refund business is an absolute pain. It's the item I want, not a refund, and I say that consumer pressure should be applied so that sellers must successfully supply the item listed and ordered. Blaming the non delivery on Royal Mail, or a stocking error is not good enough. How much do these people make because buyers fail to complain and just let that two or three quid failure slide because it's not worth following up? Sellers should be forced to conclude a successful transaction as a point of contractual law. A deviant in a bed sit could easily set up as a “seller” with no stock, no intention of ever supplying anything, and being super polite and full of remorse when a complaint is made over non delivery, only to make money from those who do not pursue the matter. My wife says I am mad to worry about losing around £18 on excessive P&P, but how do we stop rip off merchants if we do not exercise our hard won consumer rights?
Do not deal with zOverstocks.

Additional comment 29Apr14 - interestingly my ability to comment on many CDs ordered from zOverstocks on the Amazon site has been removed! They will do anything to avoid negative feedback.

On 17Jul14 I won my case against Zoverstocks in the Small Claims Court. They have been ordered to pay me the £18 and £25 costs. So, if you are in the UK and you pay for postage from USA, but the item comes from Stockport, tell Zoverstocks that a legal precedent now exists and they should refund the postage.

I received cash by post on 16Aug after sending a copy of the court order to Zoverstocks in Stockport. Cash by post! I ask you, should we trust or deal with a company that is so casual as to send cash in an envelope? Only £41 arrived, but I'll leave it at that.

Stay away from Zoverstocks is my advice. They are a bunch of unpleasant cowboys.
