This company is a total Scam - Sells sub standard goods out of China ( which you are not aware of at the time of purchase) so if you want to return you have to send back to China ! -Good Luck with that one ! - So apart from you having to bear the cost of international shipping you are also charged a 15% deduction for what they call a "re-stocking" fee whatever that is ! - Also at the end of it all the quality of the goods is absolute sh*** - This company should be blocked under the Trades description Act.

This order was late and arrived from China not the UK.
This order arrived from China. The website is very misleading. Charged in pounds, Belgium address. The order stated that the item would arrive July 23rd. It was for a specific event. It finally arrived on August 5th. I requested a refund only to be told they DO NOT have a store in the UK and I will have to pay to ship the dress back to CHINA! will be responsible for duty fees and will be charged a 15% restocking fee!!!! Now, I am being offered a 15% partial refund to just keep the dress.

Very disappointing and unfair return process
I bought two pairs of shoes from this company, and both were very poorly made. The quality was nowhere near what I expected, so I decided to return them.
The return process was already unacceptable because I had to pay to send the shoes all the way back to China, at my own expense. The company has confirmed that they received the returned items, but now they want to deduct an additional 15% restocking fee from my refund.
So, after receiving badly made products, I have had to pay expensive international shipping and am now expected to lose even more money. I find this completely unfair and very disappointing.
I would definitely not buy from this company again, and I would advise others to think carefully before ordering. What initially seems like a simple return can end up costing you a significant amount of money.

The dress described as made of linen included no linen , took ages to arrive and then could only be sent back to China .
Probably the firm could be taken to court for misrepresentation but in the meantime just avoid .

Be really careful when ordering off York Fashion. My mum ordered a dress and when it arrived it looked nothing like the online pictures and the quality was terrible especially considering the price.
When she went to return the item it turns out that all returns must be sent to china and the customer must cover this cost.
It does clearly state on the website that this is the returns policy so although there has been no wrong doing, they are sending out poor quality products for a high cost knowing that people will not be able to return them as the cost to return ends up being more than the item of clothing. It feels very much like a scam.

WARNING DO NOT PURCHASE OFF THIS WEBSITE. I purchased some sandles only to realise once received that York fashion are using pictures of doc martin sandles from an official doc martin website. I can assure you what i got was nothing like the picture. The tag on the back of the sandle in the picture says bounce. This is spelt wrong, on the sandles the other side should say air wair this is actually just Chinese writing on my sandles. Their whole page about the owner being a single parent is also fake. I have been offered 20% refund £6.99 and send back with shipping costs down to me, I paid £36.00, so not really offering any kind of refund as i have to send back to china. They are a complete scam. 1 star is generous. It states that there is an easy return policy with a 30day money back guarantee. It is not true. Read the small print and you see returns have to be paid for by the buyer and sent tracked to China. Not even a label supplied. They then deduct 15% for restocking costs. In other words you get back a fraction of the original cost.
When I complained I was offered 10% refund that increased to 15% when I raised further concerns. The items were a very bad fit and I am a standard small. It is very disappointing.
