The guide was excellent. The food was not. I was not the only one to criticise it. Water supply on two days wasn’t on. Don’t think I would go again.

I loved this Robin Pope lodge. So beautiful and comfortable. Great food and company. Ask for John as your Safari guide especially if you're a photographer. He's fantastic. I Will definitely go back

Nothing to suggest -- have been on numerous safaris in Africa and these 12 days have been one of the best ,All the camps had excellent facilities .The chefs expertise was quite evident . I liked the way the menu was presented each night . The waiters were very good eg I asked if the camp had any biltong . It was at my table the next evening . They remembered as to how my wife liked her tea prepared and it was presented at the table in that manner the next day . How do they remember all the clients names ?? But most important were the guides . VERY knowledgeable , helpful and it was very easy to develop a report with them .One of the couples who were in the truck with my wife and I , were " difficult " but the guide managed to cope with them and did not show any frustration . Amazing .The camp managers were always around and helpful . The trucks were spotless and in excellent condition . Little Ruckomechi nights were cold and unfortunately the design of the cabin did not prevent cold air creeping in .Some form of heating is needed . This review goes for all the camps .

Fantastic people, location, accomodations. Thanks to "Jenna Tena", our incredible host and so patient with us! To Nyombe, our guide, the experiences, including our safari walk on the riverbank with the hippo and lions was outstanding! Service was second to none, and we loved meeting and getting to know the staff and guests. So very memorable!
Tented camp - brilliantly designed to fit into its beautiful surroundings. Every aspect of comfort provided. Food was first class and sleeping to the sound of honking hippos was blissful. Our guide Bertie was fantastic -offering fun and knowledge effortlessly.
Great camp with very high standards of guiding and food. Superb views from rooms, breakfast, bar. Experienced guides were happy to do very long walks (up to 20k) which was great. Game here is good, with giraffe, and lions, leopard regularly seen. Maybe had a slightly more formal atmosphere than some camps, but still extremely welcoming and service was faultless.
