Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable - plus really listened to what we wanted out of the trip. They made recommendations we would not even of thought of. Once itinerary was decided, it moved seamlessly into the booking operation. So glad we found Yellow Zebra to help us plan our epic East Africa adventure.

I had never heard of Yellow Zebra until I started researching on line for a safari holiday. From the information I gained, it soon became apparent that this was an organisation that seemed to be experts in the field. I made a tentative on line enquiry with the kind of thing I was looking for (and not looking for!) and was contacted very promptly by Kate K to further discuss options and potential itineraries and costs. I also contacted other major UK tour operators who also offer safaris, however, the customer service I received from Kate K at Yellow Zebra was first class. I have now booked for 2027 and got everything I was looking for and the follow up confirmation from the Operations Team has also been excellent. This will be a first time experience for us, so I hope the actual trip goes as smoothly as the consultation and booking service! At this point, though, Yellow Zebra appear to be a way ahead of the competition that I have seen.

Everything, from initial discussions about the trip and selection of the itinerary, to the booking process, pre departure advice and back up on the ground. Amazing to see so much wildlife, both variety and quantity. Travelling in the wet season worked really well for us, the sunsets and sunrises are spectacular and the camps are not so crowded. Accomodation and food first rate.

A wonderful experience dealing with a professional team

We have just booked our 2nd safari with Yellow Zebra as we were so impressed by last safari booked with the company last year. We booked with Safari's with Specialist Sam Horner who, at our first meeting, really took the time to understand us & what we wanted from a safari. His guidance & suggestions resulted in the perfect safari which exceeded all expectations, hence the reason we have booked another safari with Sam & Yellow Zebra. The booking process is quick & easy as the team have so much knowledge of the camps & in particular the process of booking internal flights& transfers between camps which is a difficult process. Kristen in the Operations Team was really helpful & efficient & we are looking forward to working with her again on our next safari.
Another process which stood out for us, is the guest experience liaison team on the ground in Africa who set up a WhatsApp Group for us during our trip & were on hand 24/7 if needed & kept us up to date with flights & transfers etc. A medical support team is also on hand 24/7 if required (luckily we didn't need their services).
All in all, our experience with Yellow Zebra from start to finish was outstanding & we are looking forward to our next safari with them. I have recommended Yellow Zebra to a friend, who was also impressed with Sam & Yellow Zebra in comparison to other companies they had looked at & also booked a safari with them

Our family just returned from what was truly a once in a lifetime safari experience in Kenya, and we cannot say enough about how incredible Yellow Zebra Safaris was throughout the entire process.

From the very beginning, their communication was outstanding. Every question was answered quickly, clearly, and with confidence. Planning a trip like this can feel overwhelming, especially when coordinating multiple families across different locations, but they made it feel simple and completely manageable.

The itinerary they created for us was exceptional. It was easy to follow, thoughtfully structured, and allowed us to move seamlessly from one location to the next without any stress. Every detail was accounted for, and everything worked exactly as it was laid out.

What really stood out to us is that there is no way we could have put this trip together on our own. From my 1st contact with Yellow Zebra the experience was great. My consultant, Jecca, was great - listened to what I wanted and came up with a number of suggested itineraries for me. After going ahead the operations team were great in getting everything in place, including dovetailing with international flights I’d booked using Avios. Once there you had support via WhatsApp via a group chat if any issues came up (they didn’t) which was reassuring. The safari itself - wow - just fantastic both the camps and the wildlife. From our initial enquiry (after choosing what we thought was by far the best safari website) to all the follow up once we booked, we have had excellent service from Kate and her colleagues. We fully anticipate our trip to Botswana in October will be just as excellent!

The whole trip to South Africa (Cape Town & Kruger) for us was wonderful and we definitely feel we packed our days full. That wouldn't have been possible without the Yellow Zebra team being 100% reliable and making the experience busy but stress free.

Nottens in Kruger we would highly recommend and it really did feel as though we were part of the surroundings. We saw all of the Big 5 (plus so so much more) and had an unbelievably close up moment with lions that we'll never forget. Nottens also took great care of me with gluten free (coeliac) food options and watching elephants, hyenas, giraffes & eagles whilst dining was a special experience.

The Vineyard in Cape Town was a hit too and both the food and setting were perfect for us. The mountains looked so tempting to climb so we hiked up Table Mountain early one morning. A hard climb in the sun but the spectacular views on top were a perfect reward.

In all our accommodation the teams could not have been more helpful and friendly and it was noted by everyone else in our party how high the standards were.

Our guide in Cape Town, Adlein, was a top chap and we learned so much in our two days with him. He also adapted the schedule (getting up super early!) to enable us to climb Table Mountain before it got too warm.

Thank you also for Yellow Zebra's support along the way. Patiently explaining the safari options (our 1st) and then reassuring levels of comms at every stage. The outlay for us was significant, but it has truly felt worthwhile as we have been able to relax from start to finish.

All the best for the season(s) ahead and I'm guessing in a few years we might like to repeat our trip.
