Avoid this place
Avoid this place! There is a sign in his office that recommends that people who have had a positive experience write the positive review on his page. What about the rest of us??
I went to Dr. Alrabady for a cleaning and exam. Since I have a brain tumor, I told him that I did NOT want x-rays since it should not be exposed to radiation. He continually insisted I get an x-ray. I told him Since he wouldn't take no for an answer, I only wanted the most minimal amount possible.
After the x-ray, he told me that I had a cavity in the very last tooth in the back of my mouth. I told him that I wanted it pulled. He asked me, "How old are you?" I answered "50" and he said, "No, you're too young". I said "nobody will see it anyway!" and he still refused.
While I was getting my cavity filled, he then told me I needed a root canal. Once again, I told him to just pull it. He refused and took more x-rays.
I went in to have the root canal. After he drilled the hole in the back of my mouth, he told me he would have to finish it at a later date. He filled the hole with a temporary filling. He appeared very agitated, yelling at the dental assistant for not holding a tool properly. I was continually swallowing the drainage matter that came from the drilling. And then he actually complained to me that my mouth was 'too small' and he couldn't fit his hand in it! Then came more x-rays.
When I got out of the chair and asked when the permanent hole could be filled, he told me to go ask the secretary. Before I could speak with the secretary, he quickly called her into his office. She came back and told me that he couldn't fill the hole permanently until I paid off the full balance!
By the time I left the practice and got to the first traffic light, the temporary filling dissolved in my mouth. I went back several days later to have it refilled, and it dissolved again. I'm sure this wasn't meant to be swallowed. When I complained to the office that I had a gaping hole in my mouth, I was told "it should be fine" and "just swish your mouth out after you eat". Well, all of the food could not be removed by swishing. I had to dig the food out with a paper clip every time I ate!
In the meantime, I've learned that bacteria and toxins enter the bloodstream through this hole.
I was very agitated and complained to the office that I was sick of digging food out of the hole with a paper clip. The secretary asked me to come in. Dr. Alrabady filled it permanently and then told me that now I needed to have it crowned!! That would be nearly $1,000 out of pocket - and he said it had to be done soon!
I went to another facility and had that entire mess that Dr. Alrabady created - removed for $43. I now have to worry about all of the x-rays that he demanded - increasing my tumor in size, I am broke from paying him so much, and I'm worried about all of the toxins that entered my bloodstream. I have read many valid links online that root canals can increase your chances of cancer and other diseases. Please read up on this matter yourself.
