O Xenaknits
Napisane przez firmę
We are an ethical family business based in the beautiful British Cheshire countryside, offering a fabulous range of high quality yarns, knitting machine sponge kits and needles.
Xenaknits.com started out as a small retail knitting market stall, selling only a few knitting yarns, evolving into a website supplying knitting products around the world.
Because of our exceptional customer service, business stability and fast delivery times, are all contributing to the successful growth of xenaknits.com. Also, we often go above and beyond to help customers because we care about you, our customer.
Whenever possible, we try to stock yarns from ethical sources, such as Fair Trade spinners and knitting yarn dyers.
With some of our Turkish yarns we buy direct from the artisan spinning families, this enables the people who make the yarns to benefit from the product they are producing.
We sell the world-famous award-winning Zuusco sponge bar kits for knitting machines. Maybe you need replacement needles for your knitting machines. We have them in stock, too.
One of the most common questions we are asked is where did the name come from? We had a lovely dog who died of cancer, so we named the business after her, very sad, but we wanted a way to remember her.
We have always loved knitting and yarns, and we hope you visit our website.

Replacement parts for vintage knit machines.
I needed replacement sponge bars. Xenaknits' were a perfect fit, a good price, and arrived promptly. I notice their needles are very reasonable too, and they have a lot of helpful information. Thanks.

The item I ordered arrived very quickly. The sponge fitted easily. I did have a little more trouble fitting the ribbon cover, it didn't seem to stick very well, probably me!
There was a very kind note that came with the order, a lovely personal touch.

New sponge bar
I have just stuck this to my sponge bar - very easy to follow the instructions, and fitted well. The reason for only 4 stars is that I found it difficult to put back into the machine, and I needed my Husbands help to push into place. Not a job for one person I don't think.
I have yet to try knitting although an initial trial piece was successful. Fingers crossed for the proposed cardigan.

Thank you for the review. However, putting the bar back in the machine is not a reflection of the quailty of the product we offer nor is it a reason to downgrade a review.
How you fit an item to your machine has no bearing on the quailty of the product. For example - If you buy needles for a knitting machine, they arrive promptly, good quality but you find them difficult to fit this should not affect the review of the product.
The review was only for our service of supply and the product you bought.
We feel is is rather UNFAIR to only rate us 4 stars because you found it difficult to put your knitting machine back together.
Knitmaster 321 back in action
I ordered some needles for my Knitmaster 321. It had been in the loft for many years. They arrived well packaged and in good time. Machine working beautifully. Thanks.
