Terrible company. Interrupted my service for 130. 00 past due payment. Tried making a payment but my deposit hadn't cleared yet. Rep told me he would restore service but there was an outage in my area. Neighbor says no outage. These people lie to you and you cannot understand what they are saying due to the fact they are in an oversees call center. I will be cutting them loose. I made the payment over 5 hours ago and still no internet. They tell me there is another outage in my area. Hmm, neighbors is working fine. Now they are closed

Business account. We (as well as other business in building) lose internet and or phone intermittently every week. EXTREMELY difficult to get any live rep to report outage. Chat assistant is terrible.

Called customer service for a billing question. Rep sounded like they were based overseas. I had to keep repeating myself, and she kept giving the same scripted answer. Then tried the chat feature, and the same thing happened. I'm trying to resolve the issue, and they basically kept saying they can't help me. So frustrating.

Today had a problem with the channel guide on all channels (all channels said Unknown program) call WOW customer service they said they were aware of the problem and tech's were working on it. Wowway has repeatedly ignored my attempt to get a return equipment box so I can send back my EERO devices. I have called them at least 5 times asking for this return label or box. THEY NEVER EVER SENT ANYTHING SO I COULD RETURN THEIR EQUIPMENT. Now they referred me to a collection agency. I wouldn't have their internet service again even if my life depended on internet connections.
Absolute worthless company
Absolute worthless company, for years have had to suffer with constant disconnects. This company absolutely refuses to fix the issue in any way. They need a class action lawsuit against them and put out of business.
Beware of WoW
I signed up as a wow customer on 9/29/23. On 12/05/24 I received an offer for a lot less than I was paying. My contract had expired so I called CS and was told it was for new customers only. I thought, that’s crazy I have to leave to get the deal they sent. So Xfinity had a deal so I switched, I told wow and started getting 5 calls a day. I explained that I tried to work with them but they choose not to.
I sent my equipment back and about a month later they sent me a bill for 385. Unreturned equipment. I told them I took a photo of the box before closing and I have the tracking number. They explained when I signed up on 9/29/23 they had sent me a box of equipment, then they said their records show 2 days later they sent me another box of equipment. The only problem is they never told me about another box, nor did they send me a email. I asked for proof for proof that they sent it, a signature or a request on my part. I also explained I live in a 1 room apartment with 1 tv, so why would I need other equipment. They refused to do anything other than try and shake me down for 380 saying they will send it to collections .
This company is a scam. I didn’t realize it was a Chinese company when I signed up. They are using our laws against us to steal money.
Do your family a favor and get service elsewhere.

I have been a WOW customer for many years and see great offers for new customers while I, a loyal customer, paid more. Well, over a year ago in December they gave me a call offering me a discount. Great. The gentleman on the phone said my current modem was really old they would send me a new modem. This new modem I had to install myself. He also said not to return the old modem as it was too outdated. I could just get rid of it. I didn't return the modem, as directed. So, after a year my bill went back up and I switched providers. I paid my partial bill for the service I had not used and returned the modem. They then sent me a notice requesting the return of 2 modems or pay $385. I had already returned the newer modem. They asked for proof but finally found that modem. I held on to the old modem w/ the box for months but finally tossed it, as they had told me to do. So now is the dilemma. They want the modem they told me to toss. That leaves me with a couple of questions
(1) Are they not training their people so they give BAD advice?
(2) Why would they install such an "old outdated" modem in any other customers home? After all they had no interest in getting the old unused modem back in over a year. I certainly wouldn't want some old equipment installed if I were a new customer.
So no, I can't say I would recommend them AND if they tell you something demand it in WRITING unless you want to face a messy hassle.
I am giving a 2 and not a 1 in hopes this will be resolved. I will repost when and if it is resolved,
Terrible Customer Service
Having had internet service for several years, mostly a good relationship, but everything changed after hurricane Milton. After a week or so most outages had been cleared, however every night service went down and in the AM I had to reboot everything, modem, booster, etc. And often had to go online to reset all or call service dept. After several promises that the issue was fixed, it continued every day. So I had Spectrum installed and discontinued service on 11/15/2024. Then on 11/22/24 my credit card was charged for a full month, which I refuted.
Then WoW billed me again for full month, $65.69, plus a $30 late fee. I called and talked to a supervisor and he agreed to cut the due in half, $45.35. I agreed to pay and just asked that he send me a new invoice for that amount. After a week and no invoice, I called the Disconnect department and asked why no invoice. They said there was no note on my account to cut the bill in half.
This is not only terrible service but to lie about a conversation. Now I will agree to pay only the half month I should have been charged, $32.85. I will also advise anyone to NOT deal with this company.

You should read and watch this people what they sell you they said that if we sign a contract we get a phone that we only pay $5 bucks extra per month plus $70 which they will return it after 7 month and for the plan it will stay same as we had exactly plus 250 in rebate .my husband did not read the final print bcs they were send to his email after transfering his Sim card to the new phone he had to get internet to transfer his account but they gave him a paper to sign which had just the price of the phones after he got home and open his account I read the plan which they did not include our roaming which we had in our phone plus this phones come with less Gb and they did not inform my husband also they did not give the 250 rebate for each phone .they did not even give him a head charger or nothing. I went back the next day the guy said everything it's extra including the roaming. I don't understand when you say everything it will include same as old plan and you don't include plus you keep $500 On store rebate for yourself.thats scamming. This is for Square one location and ramadeep.
It's a horrible company
It's a horrible company. Do not recommend. I was told to try free for 7 days and they wanted to charge me after a couple days of trying them out. I had issues and tried calling customer service which is no longer 24/7, and wait times were very long. Finally decided to cancel and was told to rip off the service box screwed on my wall instead of having a technician to come out and take their own equipment. I would be charged for the technician to come out. So I had to re-connect my current provider of Spectrum on my own but had I have a technician come out to help me there would be no charge. Spectrum may have issues but they are far better than this nonsense. Also, they send a small envelope to me since of course no one comes out to send the large equipment back to them. That's not going to work. I need to call them again soon after this posted review to get a large box or something to send it back. They have no one to contact late at night and I work all day but at least I can call Spectrum no matter what time it is and wait times are minimal. Internet speed was ok mostly but the service is not there.

WORST ever internet provider
I have never had an internet company like this one. Many, many websites were blocked by their service including some of my banking ones and even Microsoft. Tried to get technical support and spent 1 and 1/2 hours on the phone--on hold--TWICE during the day and then they hung up on me. Signed up for the 500 gig service and never got more than 125 gps on the sites that did work. I could load Amazon but not Walmart. I could load Bank of America but not Discover. The list goes on and on. I finally cancelled their service less than a week after it was installed.

terrible service. it's unfortunate if you signed up with them, they will charge you for 1 gig internet and you will barely see over 150mbps. no customer service etc, look elsewhere

9/30/24 called to get current internet at my house switched from my daughters name to mine’s. Nightmare began. Was told that current acct had to be disconnected and a new acct opened in my name. Tech wouldn’t have to come inside since I had my own equipment and I didn’t have to be at home. 10/12/24 tech did what he needed to do on outside of house. However, when I got back into town no internet. Have spoken with over 80 something people and as of 12/17/24 still no internet and now they are saying account is suspended and I need to pay 140 something for service that hasn’t worked before they can fix it. This is the most sorriest company in the world. They deliberately lie to you, they put bogus notes and lies on your account. My account was zero when I requested the switch and hasn’t worked since so please tell me how I owe this money. I will not recommend this company to anyone. Will be filing a complaint with the FCC and if they put anything on my credit I will fight them.

This happened in the Kingsway mall, Edmonton. I was enticed by the employee to buy a new phone. It was a manager of that place.The price and the plan looked good.But when he showed me a bill I was surprised. It was twice as expensive as what he previously told me! In addition the guy called me a "liar". Can you imagine that? He was trying to cheat me and when nothing came out, called me "liar". I put one star to evaluate their performance but only because the site rules don't allow me to put 0.

Wow, has been informed on more than one occasion that we lose internet every single day, sometimes for as long as 15 minutes at a time. Usually multiple times a day. The only solution that they suggested was that we upgrade to their better service and pay more.... We went with wow so we could pay less. Now we have to switch back to our old company

OMG.. this company is a total scam. I accidentally got caught up with them, because I was blatantly lied to. They are scammers and liars, actually to the point of being fraudulent. I am still trying to straighten out the mess they have created for me! There is a reason they have only one star!
