On receipt of order after significant…

On receipt of order after significant delays in the delivery time and multiple email requests, was very disappointed to discover items were missing from my order and had to go through the same prolonged delivery process and emails to obtain the missing items

Fraudulent

Instead of addressing their appalling approach to customer service and deceptive business practices Woven would rather spend their time spamming the obviously fake positive reviews seen below, including one by [name redacted by Trustpilot], the CEO of Woven and their parent company, OJ Brands, and one by [name redacted by Trustpilot], who just so happens to share their highly uncommon first name with that of the procurement manager for OJ Brands.

Embarrassingly inept charlatans, avoid if you value your time, money, and sanity.

UPDATE: Woven attempted to have this review deleted on bogus grounds but merely succeeded in hiding it for a few hours while it was flagged. Thankfully Trustpilot have shown a level of ethical integrity that Woven can only dream of.

Love my rug from Woven

Love my rug from Woven, I was looking for the perfect Jute rug and this one was such a good price! When it arrived I was surprised at how good the quality is.

Would recommend for quality, affordable rugs with a huge selection.

Terrible customer service.

Terrible customer service.
The phone line just rings, and cuts off after 10 minutes.
I've requested an exchange (which they advertise), but getting it to happen is deeply frustrating. Email messages just ask that I be patient (!) or promise to get back to me "as soon as possible".
They tell me that the rug I want in exchange is out of stock for the next month, but it is still advertised as deliverable "in 1-5 days" on their website.
I won't be using them again, and am about to give up on trying to get an exchange.
Update:
Woven still haven't responded to my emails or messages other than with a "please be patient" automated-response. I have given up on trying to obtain an exchange and decided to just keep the original rug. Less hassle!
The rugs are lovely and the prices good. But customer service is abysmal, in my experience.

I wish I had read the reviews

I wish I had read the reviews. Placed order for 2 Joules Oxford pillowcases in Chalk colour back in December 2021. After long delay order arrived. Unfortunately I received wrong items from the company. I have requested to return theses items. I have phone customer service team and sent numerous emails. Not once have I received the appropriate response. This is Unacceptable.
Thought I was dealing with a reputable company

Birthday ruined

I have ordered a rug more than 2 weeks ago now with a statement that it should arrive within 1-5 working days. As this was intended as a birthday gift i thought this would be enough time to have it arrive as i had 2 weeks before the party. I have messaged on several occasions and have had extremely limited feedback once i was told it would arrive last week which it didn't. Then i emailed again on the 24th after which i have not heard a thing anymore.

I am extremely dissapointed with the service provided and genuinly hope i get this rug as it literally cost me every penny i had left in my bank account. Now i have no money, no rug and no present.

Please delivery this rug ASAP or i will take legal actions

I have already emailed the stated email address several times (again this morning) with no answer

I would not recommend them

EDIT: Because I have received a refund after 4 months I have changed my review from one to two stars, altered my title and have removed all currently inappropriate references to not getting my money back and so on. I will leave the narrative as a caution as it is an exact account.

After being given an estimated delivery time of 5-7 days (from order date Sept 26th 2021) no rug arrived. The website says that they will send an email when the item has been despatched and a tracking number. Neither were ever sent , and a phone call to the company revealed they didn't really have any idea where the rug was, but said it "might have been delayed". This vagueness concerned me so I cancelled the order.

They then claimed it had been delivered to me, but of course it hadn't. After many phone calls and emails I initiated a credit card dispute to get my money back. On being informed of this they then said the rug must have been "lost in transit" and if I cancelled the dispute with Barclaycard they could process my refund quickly. I did so, and although Barclaycard confirmed cancellation of the dispute (20th Oct 2021) Woven claimed it had not been and so refused the refund up to 11th November 2021. Frustrated I then asked Barclaycard to restart the dispute to try to get my money back. Extraordinarily Barclaycard informed me in writing after 8 weeks that they could not restart the dispute -contrary to previous assurances.

I then contacted Woven to tell them that Barclaycard had confirmed to me in writing the dispute was closed and asking again for my refund. This email was ignored until this review was posted, when they contacted me to inform me a refund had been made.

I appreciate the apology in reply, but negligence in obtaining tracking information and passing it on to the customer, failed delivery not properly responded to or dealt with and an unacceptably long delay in refunding for the failure simply corroborates problems detailed in many other reviews, and are obviously ongoing. For this reason I couldn't honestly say I would recommend them to anyone.

(I notice an early 5 star review on Google seems to be signed by someone with the same name as one of their directors. I've flagged one of the 5 star reviews on Trustpilot as being fake, but it is still there, along with many similar vague 5-star reviews from people with one review to their name. Beware!)

Wish I had read the Trustpilot…But LOVE my rug!!!

Wish I had read the Trustpilot reviews!!! I get an email with a link to DX, however, when I follow the link, the order cannot be tracked. Several chats with DX resulted in them say they have no record of my order. Honestly?!?! I thought I was dealing with a professional company - should send them a bill for my time!! Agree with others, stay away!! (1 star)

Follow on: Received my rug in acceptable time, and LOVE it!!!
Woven, remove the link to DX that is part of the order confirmation as this is what caused me the headache. It is premature to provide that link, as at the time of ordering, DX has not received any details yet. THis means the customer goes round in circles. Simple as. After much chatting, emailing and holding on to speak with someone on the phone, I finally got to a Woven customer service representative that was very professional and helpful.

Ordered a rug from woven

Ordered a rug from woven. When it came they had sent me the wrong size. Constant phone calls, left messages and sent emails. They answered to my email, I responded but they still haven’t replied back. Terrible customer service. Hoping I get this resolved.

DO NOT DEAL WITH WOVEN

DO NOT ON ANY ACCOUNT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY - On 21st November I ordered a rug from them which had been reduced by 64%. Heard nothing for 3 weeks so emailed to ask about progress with the order. Woven emailed me back to say there had been 'a stock discrepancy' and, althought they could order a replacement from their supplier it would not be at the sale price. However, we had a contract because they had accepted/confirmed my order and taken the money from my account within a couple of days - Woven have broken the contract. On 21st December they promised to reimburse my money but, to date, the money has not been returned.

The worst online shopping experience I have had

The item was showing as in stock and available. Following months nothing arrived. I then tried to cancel the order but never got any response or was unable to speak to anyone. In the meantime the rug arrived, but it had arrived too late and I wanted to return for refund. I returned it immediately but then spent many weeks trying to get my refund. Oftentimes you could not get through on the phone. Messages were left unanswered. It was only when I threatened legal action that I finally got my refund. Slick looking website but appalling behind the scenes. You may think you are getting a slightly less expensive price but you pay for this in the long term.

Horrible service, no rug delivered after a MONTH of promised deliveries!
I ordered a £1000 rug early December and since then, have had a nightmare to chase my product! Apparently the courier company messed things up, but I am the one that needs to chase them each time to enquire about the status of my delivery!! It will be a month soon and still NO rug!
Never order from Woven, never use them!! What a joke. Now I need to chase my rug or chase a refund (if they don’t deliver).

I have bought from Woven twice with…

I have bought from Woven twice with excellent service each time. Fast delivery with no hiccups. I don't know how or why there are so many bad reviews, im glad i looked past them because i purchased two berber style rugs that were both quality AND great price compared to other sellers. They have discount codes often and i love their price match offer! My home has never looked so good thanks to Woven i 100% recommend. I always tell my family and friends about this company with every compliment my rugs get 😆💞

RUBBISH SERVICE

Ordered some bedding which was in stock and should be delivered in 5 days. 24 days after ordering items arrived however, it took numerous chase up calls to be told it will be delivered in a couple of days and still didn’t turn up. More phone calls to be told Black Friday has slowed things down, I ordered before Black Friday. Eventually received notification from DPD to say it would be delivered tomorrow! Tomorrow arrived and no delivery. Tracked the parcel on DPD which says they were still waiting on the items from Woven. Final call to threaten legal action and the items were delivered! Customer service is rubbish, don’t buy from this company!!

No ‘free’ anti slip mat, then Brexit import fees

The ‘free’ anti slip mat never materialised… ‘sorry we have run out of our large antislips’

… but worse than this, I’ve now received a VAT import fee from UPS for €156 … Brexit related fees are my responsibility. If ordering from outside the UK … be careful of the small print.
