My yarn for the baby blanket kits was probably the nicest yarn I’ve ever used. I’ll definitely use it for other projects!

I wish the instructions were a lot more specific. Instead of saying “back or front of the stitch” it could say BLO/FLO , for example. For “front of the stitch” I did a regular single crochet and my hat came out more flat vs having a hat bill.

As a returning knitter, after a 20 year break, my wool and the gang project has been a great way to get my confidence back and my enjoyment of knitting. The pattern is very easy to understand and the videos are also really useful. I love the wool and all the colours and of course on big needles it is growing very fast. The only thing I would change is the pattern I received in my cardigan kit just had a rough pencil drawing on the front, whereas when I bought my jumper pattern from a shop it had a model wearing the jumper so it was useful to refer back to. I think the kits are a great idea.

I bought some wools and a patterns, but when I started knitting I realized that I really didn't like one of the colors. They were helpful in letting me exchange. I love the colors I am working with now and I find the pattern easy to follow - especially as they have many helpful videos to show you how to do each step.

The delivery took so long I left for the summer before it arrived. I’m hoping it’s good but won’t know until September. Allow more than 2 weeks for delivery!

I have likely bought my last kit from Wool and the Gang. My kit didn’t include the correct number of yarn balls and was missing one, and when I reached out to support they claimed I was lying about not having enough balls of yarn for the pattern. I just spent more money to buy a single ball of yarn after I already overpaid for a kit that didn’t include it. Horrible customer service & a horrible way to treat your customers.

The raffia I bought from Wool and the Gang has been a pleasure to crochet with. It is sturdy and easy to use. However, the skein is abysmal. I unpackaged it just like many videos showed me- clipping the side straps, pulling from the side and never from the middle- but it continues to loop into the middle and gives me yards and yards and yards of "yarn barf". I've spent almost as much time untangling my project and unwinding and rewinding the skeins as I have crocheting. I am making something VERY simple, yet I have had to cut and restart the raffia about 10 times so far and I am only on the second of three skeins that this pattern calls for. It is hugely disappointing to spend about $80 on materials for a project, yet it is going to turn out poorly because of how the skeins were wrapped and the need to constantly cut the raffia from massive knots. I am frustrated.

Evri claimed that they delivered the order which of course was untrue. Wool and the gang checked and agreed the Evri deliveree was untrue. Was delivered later in the day.
The tape was full of knots and had to rewind it myself

the yarn feels very nice however the colors are a little different than they appear online. also i would love to have a digital copy of the pattern in addition to the paper one!
