Trash, magic arena stays uninstalled this time, never seen a shuffler so bad, funk off wizards, glad I only spent a fiver on arena and my physical collection is getting sold because my enjoyment of magic is now that soiled, greedy nerds.

Customer support don't read the messages they just copy and paste unrelated answers and then proceed to ignore you, they are si careless about their job that they even sent a follow up to the unanswered messages saying we havent heard from you with the copy of the messages they ignored

I filed for a refund due to missinformation onboard their platform Magic the gathering arena

In this platform, there is something called a "Rotation", where cards will be removed from the playable pool.
When you go to create a card that is going to leave on "Rotation" you get a warning that it is going to rotate [true for right now anyway 24.08.2023]

I made some cards that didn't say it will rotate, then those cards rotated out.
then they unrotated, after less than 24 hours,
and the rotation is only scheduled for 05.09.2023

I was and still am very confused. [Why were the cards I made rotated out?, will it happen again on the 05.09?]

I went and asked customer service if the cards I made will rotate in 05.09.2023, and if I can get a refund due to me making them recently, and them not being stated as part of the rotation [remember, when you go make a card that is being rotated, there is a warning that it will rotate]

At the begining they were nice and responded quickly
then things got bad.

they started responding, but somehow forgot previous messages and asking the same questions [felt like talking to bots], I made a summary of all previous messages fo them and said I was insulted for being asked the same questions multiple times [they wanted details about what happened to my cards, which I discloused as I have here, with some more details about what specific cards I made that were briefly rotated, and when did I make them]

During our conversation my questions were ignored repetatly, but I still got responses, so I wasn't sure what is going on [why are they answering as service, if they aren't answering my questions?] not only they did not answer the questions, they didn't even say "We will get back to you on that" or anything of the sorts, I was basically ghosted and was answered at the same time, being asked for details I already gave.

After saying I was insulted and sending a big summary [so they don't have to ask for the same details], I recieved a brief message saying:

Thank you for emailing us back. I have looked into your request and we unfortunately will not be able to provide Wildcards to your account. Cards or other items are not provided in place of cards being rotated out of a format. Your feedback and feelings about this has been collected.

Note that in every other message I was told who I was talking to, not in this one though.
before this final response I talked to:
Westley‍, Linwood‍, Shauna‍, Frank‍, Jacob‍.

each talked to me exactly once, with Westley being the exception, sending me 2 mails, THAT WERE IDENTICAL, asking the same questions, again.

After the final mail [not the conversation with Westley], I asked about the missinformation in MTG Arena.
I am going to quote my response, and I know I am a bit salty in the mail but here is what I said:

Does that not seem misleading in your opinion?

Is this company protocol to label the cards as such?

Since then I repetadely asked for a response, and was ghosted for about a week [they usually responded in less than 1 day]

In summary:
I was unheard, disrespected, mislead.
and you know what the worst thing is?
NO ONE CARES.

Pricing for the new Commander Master Displays are a joke. Thats a ripoff of a scamm company. 552€ ??? For reprints ?

Laut deren Info, werden die Bestellungen nur zu 10 % bedient, sodass der Käufer teilweise leer ausgeht.
Blöde Logistik von Wizzard. Wenn ich bspw. weiß, dass ich ein Kontingent von 1.000.000 Artikel habe, dann verkaufe ich doch nicht 3.000.000 🤦‍♀️
Richtig behindert.

I purchased a phyrexia all will be one pre-release box and the outside of the container seals were not compromised however the packs inside were resealed and did not have any rares in them even though each pack is supposed to have a gold rare card in each. Somebody opened up the packs and then resealed them internally from employees of Wizards of the Coast this must be an inside job. This compromises the Integrity of the company and the trust customers have that they will get good quality product with the cards that are expected to be inside the fact that this box was compromised means others have been as well. This is a matter of principle. Never in the 30 years of Magic Game play has this happened to me and now I can never buy anything from you with same confidence as I did before.

Secret Lair Commander Deck für über 160€ erworben und der absolute Premiumzulieferer DPD hat es nach eigenen Angaben "irgendwo im Mehrfamilienhaus" abgestellt mit dem Ergebnis, dass das Paket weg ist.
Lt. DPD muss nun WotC den Schaden melden.
Umständlich über das Formular den Schaden an WotC gemeldet und nun nach mehreren Wochen die Rückmeldung (copy paste) erhalten ich solle doch mal meine Nachbarn fragen und man könne nichts für mich tun.
Sehr schlechter Service vor allem in Relation zu den Mondpreisen, die verlangt werden.

This company will take time to die there are too many people who like it and want to buy the cards because they enjoyed it. However, like a number of people who have issues with the bastardization of work from people just to race swap and make the game more inclusive, in addition only picking and choosing which ones as well. Lets get the example of the new LOTR set coming out, ultilizing race changing to humans...of highborn levels (kings and relations) but yet Éomer is a white character and Éowyn (His sister) is now portrayed as black. So just breaking any lore there.
Additional issues are the inconsistencies and lack of support from anyone at WOTC, try and complain about their poor product: foils that come out of the pack curled and unplayable/marked cards and no interest in replacing them because they can't control humidity...but still ensure that product quality is on a constant down hill spiral but hey saving them money.
Also from lack of promised product, box toppers for sets that have them not being put into the boxes and after all information is submitted complete silence from WOTC hoping you will just give up.
Poor leadership and R&D with making sure sets are balanced and there can be diversity: Arena proves there is limited to no diversity at all the higher ranks.
Using the secondary market to make secret lairs that is just printing money and making sure there are some good sometimes and then useless others.
Even though it has been a long time since they instituted a no set MSRP for their product basically assists in the downfall of local gaming shops- then asks why standard is dying especially in LGS.
Without the MSRP is causes distributors to overcharge for "premium" sets that in the past had affordable pricing points to be inclusive to all players not just the wealthy which is where it has been trending and continuing to get worse.
All in all the poor leadership, woke culture/inclusivity, poor product standards, active hate and treating players as imbeciles with wallets, no support that actually follows through with prodcued damaged products, and just a lack of caring for anything besides trying to extract all the money they can for inferior products is where this had lead to.

The boycott of WOTC should be done by magic players similar to DnD community. Hold them accountable for everything, get rid of the leadership that are stomping their own reputation into the mud and put R&D back into the game to really save it in a playability perspective. This won't go far I know just voicing concerns that I have and know others have also had as this is a problem to the whole of the community and is a continuing slap in the face to people that do care about magic.

Ogni volta che premo su gioca "recently played", nonostante non abbia alcuna intenzione da mai di giocare ad alchemy ( raccatta spiccioli copioni di chi vi ha copiato innovando ), mi coda in alchemy; lo stesso vale se rinomino il deck, cambio le bustine delle carte, l'immagine sul deck o una o più carte al suo interno.Ahh!Quando devi far quadrare i dati... :

Il matchmaking è in grado di farti incontrare lo stesso avversario ( e ne ho monitorati un po' ) dal bronzo, al mythic 95%, fino anche a reincontrarli con mazzi dedicati persino, scendendo appositamente surrendando a nastro, fino a mythic 60%, e indovina un po'? Se risali a nastro in una giornata il giorno dopo fino a oltre il 95% sei in grado di incontrarli di nuovo!!! Ora provate a cambiare account...gh!
Questo gioco sarà la morte di Magic, già il più portafoglista Pay to win nella storia dell'uomo, per di più ora i giocatori buoni si allontaneranno in quanto questa versione virtuale non rispetta le leggi della matematica e della probabilità in modo decisamente sfacciato, capisco che se uno paga e si fa un mazzo lo lasciate vincere un po' e poi però il vostro bisogno di raccattare spiccioli vi spinga a fare in modo che per più di un tot stesso mazzo smetta di funzionare correttamente in modo schematico, forse; per caso, atto a fare in modo che vedendo tutti gli altri mazzi che invece incontrerà che gireranno nel 99% dei casi giocando in curva una precisione di carte degna di un mazzo vintage controllo ingioiellato ricco di tutori e peschini powermetal nonostante siano standard, nella speranza che si voglia fare un altro mazzo, perché oh non vorrai non dargli du' spicci in più a sta gente che ha il tenore di vita dei peggio ladri sulla terra, non vorrai mica che i buoni giocatori smerdino in tutte le partite i giocatori che dovrebbero prima di giocare essere almeno consci di se stessi invece di copiare deck su arena per trovarsi sulla mia strada a lanciare carte manco le avessero lette e capite che se no poi va a finire che la stragrande maggioranza di quest'ultima categoria molto vasta nella razza umana smetta di giocare o di darci qualche spicciolo ogni tanto!?
lasciate la possibilità a chi se lo merita, e lasciate che gli scarsi abbiano la possibilità di ritrovarsi e capirsi tali, altrimenti non avranno reali miglioramenti o motivazione per giocare se non free to play, non posso tollerare di trovarmi avversari in mythic che tengono in parata feldon o la chick, come non posso tollerare di vincere partite solo perché l'oppo è senza terre o perderle perché non riesco quasi mai a giocare in curva per via delle terre ( gioco monorosso con solo carte a 1 e a 2 con 23 terre, stento a giocare il primo turno, o il secondo , o il primo e il secondo in curva, a voi le calcolatrici di quanto sia improbabile ). in sostanza, tutti questi videogiochi devono avere dei team di gente selezionata dalla cream della disumanità e sono solo atti a raccattare i vostri spiccioli dimostrando la loro vera essenza, ed al solito l'uomo ha rovinato anche questa bella cosa.

I love Magic the game, but really: MTG Arena is just unplayable due to Server Problems. You loose games that you would win and you loose money. It really feels like fraud in the end.

The Pinkertons murdered people! This incident highlights the need for companies to prioritize ethical and lawful practices when engaging third-party security firms.

The Pinkertons outrageous behavior prompted the US Congress to pass the Anti-Pinkerton Act, which aimed to curb their excessive and often unlawful tactics.

The logistics error that resulted in the wrong product being delivered to the person was an honest mistake by the seller. Using intimidation and aggression to resolve the issue is unjustifiable. The person who was threatened showed remarkable kindness in the face of unwarranted aggression.

This incident makes it clear that Wizard of the Coast does not deserve the support of its customers. I will never purchase any product from them again.

On another note. NEVER comply with private security ghouls like this. They have absolutely no right to do this. The leaker was dumb for complying with these guys. He should have just closed the door and called a lawyer. they basically sent thugs who are known for killing people to shake down this guy - ffs WOTC wt-f were you thinking?

Customer service does not red the content of emails. Instead they only send templated emails. They lie about the nature of arena (they use a matchmaker)

I bought an expansion set of books almost 150€ it come damaged in all the books with corners pretty bumped. They said that they couldn't garantee the mint condition of te books. So you sell books and you can't guarantee that are in good shape? I will never buy anything to them

What happened to magic. Your banned and restricted list gets more and more but the cards get more and more powerful. And we have to spend more and more money to some what keep up. I am watching YouTube of people opening 9 pre release boxes and everyone has access to Mom before it's even out without going to a pre release. I was there and did my time to get the 1 pre release box that I deserved. And I payed good money to play fun magic. I got a bunch of bad draws and wasted my money being that the guy next to me had a card that was a more powerful cheaper version of a banned card. I can't play my banned cards and I'm restricted on certain cards but if you have the money you can buy a better mor powerful card then what's on that list. Do yall even look at the lists before you drop cards or do you just care about the money anymore? Do you care about the people that have love for playing the game anymore or is it just a cash cow for you?

it once was a game for the people. everyone could play.
now its just milking the cow.
250€ for collectors booster display were really hard...
while 0,02€ prices on the secondary market are not rare. even for really good cards.

Penosi in tutto sistema fi gioco ed avversari buggati e/o pilotati alla grande troppe espansioni che non si sa neanche come battere alcuni mazzi perche ti ritrovi a pescare 18 e dico 18 terre quando nel mazzo ne ho 22 su 60 e non è una volta sola ma nel momento preciso che stai per vincere alcuni match l avversario pesca l unica carta in grado di farti il c**o con piu di 50 punti vita a mia disposizione su mazzi addirittura di 80/90 carte. Una parola?? RIDICOLO

Wizards of the coast have proven more than enough times that they are not here to give you a good product, theyre here to monetise and force down micro stransactions on their new upcoming "video game" more like casino game. ONE DND

on top of that theyre making worse and worse book adventures, and theyre trying to crush the competition by sueing everything around them

there are so many alternatives to 5E come check them out !
