I'm not sure how they managed to do it, but they killed all the love and goodwill people had for D&D 5e in less than 2 years.

I've been collecting cards and playing arena for a collective 15 years and this greedy Corp never ceases to amaze and infuriate me at the same time with their selfish behavior and awful user experience. In paper forget about it. Anyone buying in paper is just foolish. But their mobile game is so awful. It often takes hours to play a single match and the server is very unreliable and slow. So is the queue, animations nobody likes that guzzle time and move at a painstakingly slow rate. Just now and it's gotta be the 1000th time (that's a conservative estimate) I was having a tedious but fine game in their format brawl and my screen just becomes unresponsive. Now it's not the phone because this phone never ever does that. And I mean never. As further proof when I close the app clear it from ram and reopen it, the game reconnects me to the match but takes a few minutes to do so. By that time my time bars have mostly run out. Then just 5 seconds later again! Completely unresponsive and no indicator. Nothing saying you were disconnected from the server or we are having technical difficulties. Nothing. So I do the same thing and by the time it's recconected me to the match I've been turn skipped automatically and been forced to discard to maximum hand size because I didn't get to take my turn. I think banging your head against a wall is likely more fun than this horrible game. They should rename themselves Gizzards of the Cost.

Wotc and their limited print secret lairs are bullcrap wont be buying mtg product anymore. Been playing since 1996...

Secret lair Produkte können von sculpern vermehrt gekauft werden. Wizard of the coast Partner Läden sind ebenfalls nur sculper. Nach vorbestellung eines collector decks mh3 wurde mir mitgeteilt das dieser Laden angeblich nie welche bekommen hätte obwohl das ein WotC Partner store war. Dieser Laden hat das deck für den doppelten Preis lieber verkauft anstatt jedem der Kunden 1 Artikel zu bieten

I never got a physical copy of my order. I have been back and forth with the company to get this missing book that they aparently resent. My information is correct and could not be more clear even after contacting and confirming a second time. I have had such issues and still never received it after whats been over a YEAR since my original purchase. I got the digital obviously just the physical product never came. STILL WAITING. Just emailed them again I just want a refund at this point.
Very disappointed.

Die Kartenqualität bei Foils ist absolut miserabel. Ich habe drei CE Fallout Displays geholt, ca 95 % der Foils haben erhebliche Prinlines, Kratzer oder oben Abnutzungen.

Lösung Wizard: kostenpflichtig nach Amerika schicken, wird neu gedruckt.
Ergebnis: ich warte seit drei Moanten auf meine Karten, um sie überhaupt nutzen zu können.

Bei zwischenzeitlicher Anfrage hat man mir u.a. mitgeteilt, dass der "Ersatz" die geliche oder schlechtere Qualität haben kann. Ein Ersatz dann erfolgt nur, wenn die Karten wesentlich schlecht erhalten sind. Das klingt doch super kundenfreundlich und lösungsorientiert.

Meine Anfrage von vor zwei Wochen wurde bis heute nicht beantwortet.

Rechnet daher mit 6 Monate+, bis ihr Ersatz erhaltet, wenn ihr sie denn erhaltet.

Da mein MH3 Display ebenso Mistqualität hat und ich das Prozedere defintiv nicht nochmal mache geschweige denn ein haufen Versandkosten zahle, ist Magic für mich gestorben.
Ein Unternehmen, dass es nicht mehr schafft SAMMELkarten in einem sammelwürdigen Zustand zu produzieren und in keinem Ton erwähnt, dass dies verbessert wird, sollte definitiv nicht unterstützt werden, denn es ist reine Geldgier.

Magic arena could have been a fantastic game.
1) Matchmaking is broken, it's too easy or way too hard, even after i took my rank i find it absolutely not balanced.

2) It seems as, card shuffler is rigged. sometimes you can get the best hand of your life, sometimes it's just lands for 5/6 turns. nothing in between.

3) You can play with (maybe) 1/3 of the total amount of cards.
Brand new releases and some "exclusive" cards are available, but, if you're looking for old cards, just can give up, and play mtgo instead.

4) Customer service is fast and kind but they'll copy-paste an answer, so not too helpful.

5) Mobile app is too strict. you can play only if your phone is brand new and high specs. otherwise there's no way for you to download it from the play store.
I've got a good phone, i can literally play any game on the market, but it's not enough for their standards.

So, overall it's a 1/5 stars, sorry wotc

I purchased the Fallout Commander Decks and when I opened them I found that the tops of all the cards were cut improperly. I contacted WOTC and it took a couple weeks to get back to me. They agreed to take the product back and send me a new set of decks. This process took nearly a month. Once I finally got the new decks they were in just as bad of shape as the ones I sent back. I contacted the BBB regarding this and they refused to reply to them. So now I'm out $200+ and I have 4 decks with damage at the top of all the cards. I've been buying product from them for well over 20 years but this was the last purchase I'll be making from them.

MTG is a great game, spent tons of K money on it during last 25 years.
BUT
MTG Arena is a scam, aiming to farm people money by using scripts and algorithms to make you lose the game in some ways (topdecking a streak of lands, matchmaking with perfect counter opponents, using bots as opponents and so on).
The best way to fix this is to boicot WotC and its products: I stopped buying physical cards, packs and boxes and ofc I'm not buying anything for cash on the app.
When WotC will understand that people wants to buy their products (and it's doing it since ages) instead of being scammed?
Such a shame to ruin the best cards game in the world!

Took over 4 months to get a damaged card replaced, with almost daily messaging nearing the end of the last month before I even got a response.
No compensation at all for poor service, try and avoid this greedy company.

On arena. They don't reimburse you if you lose out because their system is buggy. They send you an email saying you're experiencing problems so often that they will just assume its not their fault. This is obviously criminally bad customer service and realy goes against their proclaimed ethos. They also add that they will ignore any further emails from you. This is so disrespectful and impolite that it can bearly be believed. They've got a lot of nerve treating paying customers this way. For this, I now hold them in very low esteem.

They think that their customers are idi-ots. Murders at Karlov Manor is the expensivest edition in history for buy but the worst cards are in the collection. Horrible.

Bad prints even worse customer service. Better off getting proxies and not getting ripped of by the greedy piglets. They don’t care about the customers or their employees. Hasbro has ruined the the company and the products?

Kundenservice benötigt etwa 16 Tage für eine, generische, vermutlich Ki generierte Antwort. Kauft nichts bei dieser Firma. Es dauert Ewigkeiten bis Produktionsfehler/Produkt Ersatz geliefert wird und man versucht dem Käufer auch Zoll und Versand aufzuhalsen.

I used to like y'all. But it seems like the quality of what you offer goes down as the years go by. That DnD advent calendar was a sick joke. The value of what you put in it is nowhere near the price you made us pay. It really feels like a nasty joke. Never again.

On buying through their site there is no expression that you will be paying in US Dollars. Almost all websites that operate internationally will show prices in your currency, or at least mention that the price you are seeing is in their currency. However Wizards of the Coast, through their dndstore, will quote you a price, confirm that price once you've purchased it and then charge you almost double that without a single mention that the price is in fact in US dollars. When you then contact "Consumer Support", there is no support for days and then when they finally reply to your contact they say "once payment is direct debited it's final". We don't do refunds. Even if the transaction was fraudulent in nature. The worst part is that all their materials are available on the internet and, thinking I was doing the right thing and supporting the company that made the content by purchasing it from them, they then steal from me and tell me bad luck. Stay classy, WotC

It’s tough because I have really enjoyed playing this game and have been playing since elementary, but this company ever since the Hasbro link up and even a little bit before has been just over the top pushing product. Trying to get as much money as possible. They used to take their time with each set and actually have good cards, but now a lot are getting recycled or have a small upgrade. I just bought a lost caverns of ixalan set box. Since when do set boosters barely have packs with more than 1 rare or better? They used to be loaded with them and then the Jurassic world cards, I pulled 2 lands and a freaking token. Why the hell are those even a card and why would they count as the 1 outta 12 boosters that you can pull them. Like I said cause they’re unoriginal now and running out of ideas and couldn’t come up with any other cards for Jurassic park. Give me 5 min and I could easily come up with a set of Jurassic themed cards that are not recycled ideas.
This product isn’t worth buying anymore and they exhaust their consumers by pumping out 7+ sets a year (including crossovers and smaller sets) they just recycled LOTR into 2 diff sets… they only care about money now just like every other greedy company in America.

Wizards of the coast is garbage. I personally will never pay money for anything haveing any connection to wizards of the coast. Boycot...you should be ashamed of yourselves...good luck in the comeing wars I think napalm for you and your home would be a good start...
