Wickes - Torquay Recenzje

Recent purchase Great experience and very reasonable Delivery charge and Tony was very helpful

Omg, what a difference. I’d been to a few builders merchants trying to source and price the materials I needed to complete my project.
I walked in to Wicks Torquay and was immediately greeted with the warmest of smiles. The Lady behind the desk not only knew her stuff but had my best interests in hand. Connie was by far the best customer focused assistant I’d had the pleasure to meet. I couldn’t have my ideal chosen delivery date but after adjusting how we bought my order, my complete order is being delivered on my requested day. She went above and beyond for me, the customer and I truly hope “Wicks” know how good an employee they have there.
Thank you so much Connie.

Great service, helpful staff, great offers in-store. The store has a straight forward layout making it easier to shop.

Lorraine from Torquay Wickes was fantastic, she helped us design our beautiful kitchen and we are so pleased with the results. Thank you Lorraine ❤️

Lorraine from Torquay has been brilliant even coming in on her day off to help us finalise our new kitchen 😁 She has been really helpful and I would highly recommend the Wickes bespoke kitchen service.

We visited Wickes in Torquay for the first time, although it's our nearest large DIY outlet. We were very impressed by the help provided by staff - especially Tony - who went out of his way to assist with our queries. We ended up buying more than planned, but we were happy to do so as the prices were excellent as was the service. 👍

We have purchased many and item from your Torquay branch of Wickes. The store is always clean well stocked and very easy to navigate around. Prices are always good value with many a good deal regularly which other DIY stores do not give. Your staff are always very helpful when finding items. The lady at the checkout is especially helpful and always very cheerful, and friendly. Good experience al round.

Lorraine is absolutely brilliant, such a professional, friendly and knowledgeable person. The exact designer you would want handing a really important space, she flawlessly knew the tiny details of products and brands, her way around the showroom to every draw example and her enthusiasm was brilliant. Thank you Lorraine!!

I have purchased a few bathrooms from wickes and found them to be of great quality. Marie is friendly, incredibly efficient and a Awesome person. Thank you!

Lorraine our design consultant was excellent and her design was Spot On!!!!!!
Very Pleased.

This is the second time we have been helped by Marie Gwillam. She is a credit to the store. Knowledgable, professional, courteous, friendly and proficient

We have had a kitchen (including flooring) installed by Wickes and are very pleased with the service and result of the project.
Firstly Lorraine (the design consultant) visited and listened to our wishes, producing a lovely design. She was open to changes to the plan that we suggested, and did her best to ensure that we were happy with the design and the price.
Then Jason (the kitchen installer) and his team also visited prior to the install and prepared the kitchen in advance. The actual installation was done very well with minimal mess and disruption. Jason and his team were also open to minor tweaks that we requested during the process.
In addition, we were in touch with Wickes's Customer Experience team who provided a helpful backup, for example when the delivery date had to be rescheduled to the next day.
All together top marks all round, we are very proud of our new kitchen. Thank you.

Purchased a Dulux "matt" paint. Definitely not matt more like satin. Returned another tin of "silk" and the assistant was totally unresponsive, like UH!

We booked a 3 hour appointment with Marie to design our new kitchen incorporating a media unit to match.
We found her extremely knowledgeable and helpful in the design also very friendly and helped us to achieve our goal. This was reassuring and gave us the confidence to buy our new kitchen from Wickes.
Many thanks again Marie

Our first visit to the store - spoke with 2 members of staff - both helpful- especially Mary who helped us open a trade pro account

Went to look at solar panels and needed further information we were in two minds as to benefits, we were helped by a delightful young man called Russell who was really helpful, we went home called the number he gave us and have just had the installation a credit to the company

The local design and installation team were helpful and thorough, spending the amount of time we needed to make a decision without feeling pressured and the three different installation teams we had to deal with three differnt jobs were all pleasant, helpful and excellent workman, even down to cleaning up after themselves wich really impressed us. Could not recommend them highly enough and would use them again.

Booked an appointment with Marie after a failed design from Homebase. Marie identified our needs and had already started planning our kitchen before we had got there. The design was great, and looked awesome. I was unsure of a few things and measurements so Marie came out and measured my room to double check everything. The paperwork provided explained everything including layouts part codes.
As I’m fitting the kitchen myself, I had questions, 100’s of them. Every question was answered, promptly and professionally. Nothing was too much trouble for Marie, she went above and beyond our expectations and is a real credit to the Torquay branch. It’s not often that you find employees in customer service jobs that come across like they truly care about your needs. I’m not talking about a 10+ grand kitchen here, it’s a simple modest design. The price was very competitive and the quality of the units look as good as I’ve found. Obviously not been delivered or fitted yet but I’m confident it will all be great.
Marie should be up for an award for the work she put in for my kitchen and putting up with me for a kitchen.

Very good service and happy to help may was excellent

I never knew Wickes had opened a store in Torquay until I was driving past a few weeks ago. I popped in to have a look. I didn't really need anything, but walked away with some new tools and a few ideas for my spring garden refresh. I was served by Mary and I think a manger called Andy. Both were very knowledgable and friendly. Well done for back to basics simple shopping.
