Absolutely disgusting there behaviour they have broken into my property and stolen for me and have stolen my benefits they let hooligans behave appallingly and do nothing they have ripped the security door off and refuse to put a new one on even though its dangerous and a fire hazard they lie about tenants and the staff are abusive. They should be shut down.

Absolutely agree with the comments Wheatley every year raising there rents were does it go ehhh in there pockets and as fur getting access to universal credit accounts to pay"charges" is a disgrace william charters and the rest of you housing officers SITTING in there hooses way there work phones turned aff fraudsters stealing your wages

Absolutely shocking the treatment off of them house full of mould two kids that's asthmatic bearing in mind I have one girl and one boy ages 10 and 11 can't get ahold of housing officers nothing just get fobbed off

Trying to help neighbour who has ill health issues and a pensioner get items of old furniture removed from back garden for which he can't afford bulk uplift with cleansing dept To be told sorry we can't help by housing officer for G513XP which I know is utter rubbish I'm sure if I can assist then surely there must be something you can do to help however I will now go to my MP and see what they say

Dodgyest housing association in the greater Glasgow area. How this housing association is allowed to make contact with people is beyond me? How is this legal?

3 months into my tenancy and for not fault of my own I have to go to court with the scammers that run this housing association. This housing association go as far as to defrauding the universal credit of payment for an extra service charge that are not supposed to pay because if that service charge is not in my tenancy agreement that means it doesn't exist.
My own housing officer Charlene Hoy is nowhere to be found the mobile number she gave me is off and the housing association is preventing me to get in touch with her. She's been unavailable for 2 months now well Charlene Hoy better make herself available because she's coming to court too.

I can't wait to go to court.

I have been homeless for 3 years and had a mental breakdown in previous tenancy after I had been put in a tenancy after being abused bullied and dehumanised I had a lot of trauma and had a breakdown did they care? No they sent their anti social behaviour manager to my house to basically tell me to go homeless again after just achieving my tenancy and trying to seek help for my mental health and allowed their anti social behaviour manager Carey Dunn to dehumanise me further jn my home telling me because of my behaviour through trauma I shouldn't live jn society people like me shouldn't be allowed to live near people. Without once hearing about the years of abuse myself and partner had suffered. For 3 years been jn homeless temp in Govan which everybody knows isn't the safest areas I've been isolated from family and friends for over 3 years now due to the anxiety taking a physical toll on me I physically trembling every single day . In the past 3 years as a priority on top every housing list I have now been offered 3 tenancies one wasn't great but still said yes and today for a 3rd time I have been informed that they have withdrawn my offer again for my 3rd offer. Every excuse under the sun even lying that current residents have decided to stay on so why ate they offering homeless people flats with people in them ? Absolute heartless organisation especially with a mental health crisis being so discriminating towards myself and allowing employees to speak down to already traumatised people. May I add that I asked this person to leave until my partner was home as I don't feel comfortable dealing with people on my own. I have now had a problem with thinking everyone will forever judge me for mental health issues and I have been wrote off. I want to share my experience incase anyone else feels like they have been judged by Wheatley homes or any their employees because they have mental health issues or trauma

I think newspapers etc should start really looking into Wheatley Homes and tenants that struggle with real mental health issues and how certain staff members are allowed to abuse vulnerable people.

all I'm going to say is anti social behaviour manager should not be entering vulnerable peoples homes and dehumanising them. And I hope no one else has ever experienced this because it has completely affected me since this happened.

how can wheatleywant over 9 percent inflation when nothing is done to make homes warm affordable if they do not do anything to make affordable no cladding no insulating not even a door draught proof so what exactly is increase for..and why are the giverment allowing this to happen they are as rougue landlord as private and something needs to be done or just another rip of public

Total shambles of a company…bunch of charlatans with no respect/no decency about them just money money money yet there houses are falling apart!! there tradesmen never show up at right time either but never there fault…avoid this mob if u possibly can they are nasty nasty company.

I have been dealing with a persistent mold issue for the past two years, and despite multiple reports, there has been no effective resolution or response from the maintenance team. The prolonged neglect of this matter is impacting both our living conditions and health.

Shameful orginisation with utterly shameless staff who at best can be described as unfamiliar with the truth.

Where do I start? I have been a tenant of Wheatley Homes Glasgow (aka GHA), part of Wheatley Group, for over fifteen years. And I have to say that GHA / Wheatley Homes are awful. Just awful.

When GHA Wheatley first let my home to me it was in a disgusting condition: it had not clearly not been cleaned for years, was infested with bugs and had no central heating. The only heating it did have was an old bar fire which fizzled and died after an hour.
Over the years I have had countless leaks of water into my flat, leading to pernicious damp and mould. GHA Wheatley do not care and do nothing to address the causes. According to them, damp is the responsibility of the tenant…

Repairs to common areas also take ages or are simply not done. In our block we have a defective secure entry door, the lock for which fails almost daily and has done for nearly ten years. Similarly there is a window with missing latches, so anyone can just open it and climb through from the outside.

During the pandemic and lockdown, GHA Wheatley stopped all but extremely urgent repairs and stopped all their factoring – but they still charged tenants for these services.

We are supposed to have housing officers – however no-one knows who they are or how to contact them. When we do manage to contact them, we are told never to contact them directly, only through Wheatley's 'Customer First' call centre.

Then year after year we are hit with rent hikes that are way above inflation – for example, in 2020 we were hit with a rent hike of 2.57% ABOVE inflation. There is no mechanism to have rent reviewed and no independent rent-setting or adjudication body.

All in all, in my experience this is a shoddy, poorly run, unaccountable housing group which is only interested in milking tenants dry for as much money as they can. I would urge everyone if at all possible to avoid renting a home from them and for Wheatley Group’s investors to have a good, long, hard look at the ethics of doing business with such an organisation.
