I am actually sitting on my phone for ONE HOUR for a repair, a male answered me his name is PETER I said my name he said the computers were playing up! I'm furious
as I have the stupid tune going on! if it was NOT an emergency I would have hung up by now I need a plumber ASAP. this is ridiculous! I have mental health so you can Imagine how I feel,

Wheatley should be ashamed of themselves. There annual profit was 87.7 million! We, the mere mortals, that rent from them are left without repairs being done properly. The contractors they hire, leave their rubbish everywhere.....city builds being one. We had new windows in our area. They made a complete botch job of my neighbours and left everything in the street for residents to clear! They take no responsibility for any of their mistakes but continue to rake in huge profits. If you know what's good for your health, dont rent from Wheatley. They are Scam artists with a monopoly of the housing market. They dont give a hoot about their tennants!

I reported repeated intimidating behaviour by a resident placed in a property managed by Wheatley Housing Association.
After explicitly asking to be left in peace, the behaviour did not stop. Instead, it progressively escalated and began to involve other residents. What initially occurred within the building’s communal areas extended to the external area, where I was repeatedly watched, pointed at, or targeted.
Despite multiple reports, the association reduced the issue to a matter concerning the use of communal spaces, without recognising or addressing the repeated, targeted and evolving nature of the behaviour.
A particularly significant aspect was that my reports remained unanswered until the intervention of a Member of Parliament. Only following that intervention did I receive a response.
Over time, the absence of effective action allowed an escalation that transformed an initially contained situation into a broader and more intimidating dynamic.
Overall, this experience highlights a pattern of management in which reports may be ignored until external pressure is applied, and where they are not translated into concrete action.
An organisation that appears primarily concerned with protecting its own position, rather than addressing the situations reported.

I have sent 2 complaints e-mails and a letter to Wheatley Homes Glasgow. No wonder I have no reply. Wheatley Homes Glasgow. 96% 1 star reviews 🙄

Live in high flats, been told i cant keep my bike in the drying room (that only i use) because supposedly a metal bike is a fire hazard, but the washing on the line isnt. The flats too small to fit the bike and cant put it on the landing because thats not allowed either.

Theyre quick to send out threatening letters but refuse to put things like extractor fans into the bathrooms or take away big mold infested water tanks (the ones the drinking water comes from).

I’m so sad but also most annoyed that I have lost an excellent neighbour of 13 years due to an anti social tenant who was moved into a house next to my neighbour.
After numerous meetings with housing directors etc my 70 year old neighbour had to move .
I’d like to find out why NO duty of care was given to my neighbour ( 70 years of age )by Wheatley Homes yet the anti social tenant who never put a bin out , never cut her grass NETS did it 4 times for her yet my 70 year old neighbour had to do her own garden….. whilst a 42/43 year old got hers done .
I think my neighbour was let down very badly and after 2/3years of complaints , meetings , promises etc not one thing has changed .
My question is why are decent tenants dismissed and accused of bullying etc whilst the antisocial tenant gets support supposedly …. And we are still dealing with the problem whilst we have lost a very responsible tenant who never got one piece of support from Wheatley Homes so much so that a 70 year old had to leave her house which she loved because of no support.
I am of the understanding that EVERY Wheatley tenant was treated exactly the same ….. in this case the answer is NO … shame on you Wheatley Homes 😡
The date of experience has been ongoing for 2+years so it’s an ongoing complaint.

Applied for housing and have sent supporting evidence with my application. Waiting to be allocated the correct points so i can apply for housing. Have been waiting for this since october and getting no response. Im guessing if i arrived on a boat id be front if the queue but as i work and am a law abiding citizen im bottom of the pile and being ignored for months on end. Cant apply for a house until my application is correctly updated, do i need to wait until this october? Awful diabolical service.

I was assaulted physically by a Wheatley Homes tenant (I rent private), she threatened to rape and kill me, she was arrested. Wheatley told me they would start the process of eviction once she was found guilty. 9 months later, she pleads guilty in court and Wheatley start ignoring me, start gaslighting me, lying to me. They gave me fake reference numbers and told me it wasn't their problem. Disgusting people. Especially Cheryl Savage who, despite being the housing officer in my area, did not contact me even once. In the end, they told me I need to move, despite telling me they would help. I'm also disabled. This is how Wheatley treats people.

I just had the absolute misfortune to get Teah from the CC. I had to end the call they were that bad. However that is the Wheatley way. Take the rent and the rest is irrelevant. I should know better but nI keep thinking they will improve.

I own my house in a nice area before wheatly home south dumfries put tenants in there flat beside me they have broken doors in there flat they are hanging out windows also at the beginning they were throwing dog dirt out the window I had to call the environmental department they seem to of solved the problem at present. The tenants carry on with music and anti social behaviour all the time night and day. I contacted wheatly home south Dumfries they say it'has been sorted. The area never had any trouble for 10yrs plus now the street is a tip around bin cupboards and full of anti social behaviour from the tenant I even had to buy sound proof wall paper. At present I am looking into taking legal advise to sue wheatly homes south dumfries over there tenant, it is the worse thing Dumfries & Galloway council has done handing it to wheatly homes south from glasgow to look after there housing stock, I contacted there housing officer and housing department they says it's confidentiality and can't tell you nothing. They done care that people have bought there house in a quiet area that wheatly home south Dumfries have now ruined the area. Called the police they say it's up to the landlord as they now have the power to take action against there tenant.the whole system is a joke no wonder people take things into there own hands to sort things out.Wheatly home south Dumfries just think how much money they can take off Dumfries & Galloway in cost for looking after there stock of housing. An update I had a conversation with a solicitor they said I have to as a home owner record the noise in the bedroom and not your own house noise and keep a log for 3 months just in case Wheatley homes south don't believe me or think I am the problem and then they can present it to Wheatley homes south, for there response, then only then we can then start a small claims court action and compensation and cost incurred and damages against Wheatley homes south also if I lose I could incur cost. They also said Wheatley homes south are responsible for there tenants and should also investigate there own tenants by contacting other neighbours and also I have to put it in writing, a letter to your MP and a letter to the head of the housing department at Wheatley homes South in case it's not been passed on to them. I think What a joke and hassle I stayed here for ten hrs no problem there tenants on been there 6 mth approximately all this just to get a quiet night's sleep as this noise problem mostly only happens from 01:00 am to approx 05:00am. I be quicker selling up ??? I work all my time to buy my own house what's the point I should have just stayed as council tenant.

Suffered severe antisocial behaviour from neighbours so bad I had to move home. The housing failed to help. In my new home in 8 months I have had problems with the windows jamming, 2 boiler breakdowns. Leaking pipe which caused mould. Housing denied this and had to put in stage 1 complaint before any action was taken. This destroyed a kitchen cupboard. Painters, joiners and plumbers all had to come several times as the co-ordination is appalling. A 15 year old shower had to be removed and a new one installed. Tiles hanging off the walls. Had to apply for funding for a wet wall. This has not been fully completed. The bathroom sink was hanging off the wall and had no toilet seat. My kitchen door is damaged and does not close over. I can't keep the heat in. I have damp patch in another inbuilt wardrobe which I painted myself. Massive glass wardrobe and sliding doors are dangerous and hanging off. I discovered an old fire place behind a wardrobe. I was forced to remove this as It was hanging off and dangerous. The old fireplace looks terrible, partially boarded up. I had to pay hundreds of pounds for a joiner to cover this up. I waited in today (Friday) for a bug inspection. I have maggots crawling through another fire place. I called them on Sunday was told no one available to inspect until Friday. Of course no one turned up. This situation has destroyed a whole year of my life while I try to care for my autistic son. This housing association has played a large role in destroying our mental health. We have not enjoyed one single moment in this home. Wheatley Homes does not care. They need to be investigated.

Avoid these predators at all cost. Left me with leak damage and no boiler for years, when I get mad they hang up, also turn up at my door insta when miss rent but can't fix my problems, companies run by low intelligence morons that are way out of their depth

A housing officer who thinks she’s better than you, a year of mould issues in 2 bedrooms resulting in numerous mould washes, walls stripped and redecorated and 1 room was completely replastered l, and still getting problems with mould.
3 grievances later and still no improvement and still being just fobbed off with policy balderdash. No compassion, no empathy, no support. Can not wait to find somewhere else not with Wheatley group!

I have called an emergency repair for water leaking in my bathroom on Saturday night,the plumber came and said he can't fix it until Monday while there is constant water leaking ,he also told us we can't use the shower. Wheatley home are the worst housing in Glasgow.

Wheatley homes are the worst housing company I have ever dealt with I complained about a neighbour four years ago and then she started harassing me I've filled in 3 years of incident sheets called down to their wardens for 3 years called the police twice they never turned up she bangs stalks me from her flat above and nobody has believed me one of their wardens even heard banging from the flat but that wasn't good enough for them and all the housing officers always say it's living noise I've been in my flat for 31 years i think i know the difference between being harassed and living noise I've sent recordings they were never investigated had the housing director in my home a councillor my local MP is involved nobody has done anything to get this neighbour who drinks doesn't work has people going in and out her flat my family all work hard we deserve better than this they even offered me a band A home to get out but the flat they offered me was to small and wasn't even ready to move into it was in a disgusting mess Wheatley homes don't care about their tenants they just want their rent money I'm taking my story to the papers I'm still stuck dealing with this neighbour it's a disgrace

I had a leak 21st of March and Wheatley homes who are responsible came out to the property and taped up the pipe and told me to pay for a replacement since it’s expensive and needs a replacement. I informed them it was their responsibility and they said this no longer needs a replacement.

The tape held up a couple of weeks and the issue began again and Wheatley homes again recommended replacing the pipes at their cost. They put more tape on the pipe. This did not stop the leak and the man left the property and claimed the work was completed. I turned the stop tap off and me and my neighbours went without water and so wheatly blocked the stop tap

I contacted again and they sent investigators to determine if a replacement pipe was required. They agreed and sent a workman to tape up the pipe.

The workman came and apologised and said tape isn’t going to fix this and recommended a full replacement.

Wheatley homes sent out more teams to investigate whether a pipe replacement was needed. They agreed a replacement was required and an external contractor was sent to investigate.

It was determined a replacement pipe was needed however Wheatley didn’t want a replacement pipe, Wheatley ordered a whole scale change building new pipes across my walls and removing the stop tap to prevent me turning the water off in case of a leak.

I rejected the offer since it was not essential works and asked for the leak to be repaired. Wheatley homes then said that no work will be carried out at my property until I agree to the changes

Website is poor at look at u rent or to get something fix poor rubbish

I hate this housing expecially ROSS YOUNG who decided to close my house down while I was working said he gave me warnings he binned my daughters ashes and my sons toys he is an absolute joke of a man and I really hope he gets his day they give no care about there tenants it's all money moneys and ROSS YOUNG takes cash payments he is not to be trusted is fact me and others all agree he is a dirty little wrong yin

These people have no scruples, another inflation busting rent rise,the garbage they spout about being skint,they're rolling in cash.As usual it,s the tenants that suffer,especially the one's that are working and get nothing from the govt.They are definitely not a charity now,more like big business big profits,DISGRACE.
