They did a fantastic job and two more teams of fitters arrived to help out and the work was completed in one day.
My house was left clean and tidy and I am very pleased with my windows.

The work done by the two Weatherseal workmen was great, the two men were great and worked their socks off to get finished in one day. They were a pleasure to have in the house and were clean and tidy. Windows look good and seem a very good product.
The phone call afterwards where a quote for further work and which would last for 18 months was farcical. It offered a good price if the work was done now but the 18 month quote was three times that price - and soured the whole Weatherseal experience.

Unless and until they resign their association with St Andrews Home Improvements and Penicuik Windows, I suggest you do not deal with them.

They, and their associated companies are not capable of understanding that the first installation must be satisfactorily completed before another window is purchased,

Really delighted with the quality of the french doors . Andy and Tommy were very professional and polite. Cleared up all the mess as well. Would highly recommend Weatherseal.

Admin fee fraud - I arranged an appointment to quote for 2 doors and 5 windows and was told the appointment would take 1 hour. the salesman visited on 28/9/18 and stayed 4 hours. he left with an order and £2000. I felt this was the only way to get rid of him, he was there 3 hours before even giving me a price (they started off quoting £14000 and 'reduced' this to £6000. He did not tell me the £2000 included an admin fee of £349, nor did he tell me about the cooling off period. I cancelled the order within 24 hours and have now been told the admin fee is non-refundable. How much 'admin' can be done in 24 hrs? I am furious and will take this to court if necessary. Do not let this lot over your doorstop.

The two men arrived within the time window and got on with the job.They tidied up after the job was finished and went through the paperwork with me. They were professional and answered all my questions.I would recommend them.

Good clean job done. Very polite and professional

Windows fitted quickly enough but noise pollution from outside disappointingly high. Can hear people talking on way past as well as all traffic. Minor damage to one sill but no response. Shop around.

Top quality windows , nice tidy finish , the boys that fitted them were really friendly & well mannered , all round great job , would highly recommend

This review is on behalf pressured of my 76 year old mother in law living in Dundee, on the 10 of August she was visited by a salesman Ewan whom spent around three hours along with her at her home and pressured her into signing up for two windows. He then proceeded to take her bank details and then help himself to the 10% deposit he required with the 90% remainder to be paid. What he actually did was take 20% and still tell that that she had 90% to pay. When we found this out we went to the bank and cancelled the order with weatherseal, the bank discussed this with Ewan's boss Mr Anderson and he promised to return the money. As yet despite having assurances that the money is to be returned nothing yet. Our next step is legal action, please do not sign anything on the day wait and get another quote.

We have had the worst buying experience of our lives in contracting this company for a conservatory build just over a year ago. We foolishly paid £6200 deposit for the build on the back of having heard of the company through advertising thus assuming they were a safe pair of hands. How wrong we were!!!, over the past year we were fed utter lies and deceived regarding the builds progress by both weatherseal and their partners in crime Jobworthdoing, their contractors and owned by the same organisation Entu/Kairos. Eventually it transpires via a flippant email that the company weatherseal was liquidated and the new owners were not responsible for the contract so the deposit was lost. The new owners of the title weatherseal continued the dishonest ethos of the old by lying about the reason for their failure to complete the contract by implying it was as a result of he local planning department. I informed:

Quite a list of well known household names and an unbelievable history of entering liquidation and reinventing itself debt and responsibility free. So it would seem idiotic to associate yourself in anyway with any of the aforementioned companies as given their previous track record it is only a matter of a short period of time that the same process will be repeated were us hard working honest people are scammed by unscrupulous self centred directors and a system that fails to protect the consumer and allows these directors and their solicitors to milk the public with impunity. Yes I am bitter who can blame me however I am writing this review in order to help other honest people avoid this situation and learn from another's mistakes. Take care, David.

Excellent job except for final touches around bottom of door. Small pieces of skirting are poorly fitted and gaps in flooring, which should have been sealed, have been left open. Obvious source of draughts which defeat purpose of a well sealed external door. As well as this, the window vents were not fixed so that they come of when you try to open them. Pity about this as rest of job was so well done. Maybe felt rushed towards end of job.

However, the main source of dissatisfaction is the hard-sell approach of the sales department after the installation. Over the first two working days following the installation I received seven phone calls touting for more business and making various "offers". There seemed to be little internal communication as appointments were missed and the figures varied. However, the salesmen seemed to reserve the right to become petulant and off-hand when their "offers" were refused. The experience simply became stressful and unpleasant.

While being inundated with sales calls, I did not receive a single call regarding the outstanding repairs resulting from the original installation.
