Easy to book and very fast contact from Customer services

Great selection of boats across wide departures points. Cost was high and it was little painful to complete booking as I had to call to complete booking, would have liked it be fully online. In addition lack of cancellable options mean 100% cost needs to be paid upfront which is not ideal.

From an online enquiry to booking I was impressed with Heather who answered every enquiry and send more information as I was doing more research needed more guidance on boat and location to start journey which was answered given being located in Australia

Arrived for briefing at 1pm then on to boat for instructions and guidance through first 3 locks then off we went on a fabulous weekend, and no rain😁. Well equipped barge nothing missing and better than our expectations, would definitely recommend and although we had to return by Sunday afternoon, we got back from Stubbing wharf with time to spare. Our instructor was 10/10

Made a reservation online on Sunday. I was surprised that I would get a call back during normal office hours. However, it made a nice change to talk to someone to confirm details instead of booking and paying on line.

Simply booked online and follow up phone call from Heather within the hour who was very pleasant and helpful as she ran through my booking with me.

Having never been on a boating, before I made the booking I phoned Waterways Holiday and the lady, Heather was very helpful and was very customer focused.

We had a few nights on Citrine with our our teenage boys on the Bradford-on-Avon to Bath route. Having only been on a barge once several years ago I didn't really know what to expect. It was all quite straightforward with a smooth handover and instructions. Although everything is done in slow motion, driving the barge takes concentration! The route is very beautiful.

Citrine is a lovely barge and highly recommended. I think it would be cramped for 6, but good for 4 people.

The booking agent, Heather, took time to identify our requirements (mobility/ access) and suggest alternatives to our initial enquiry, through her extensive knowledge of the available cruisers. This led us to change our destination but achieve a more suitable vessel.
