I had a Panerai submersible I wanted to sell. It was a great watch, but was hard to find a buyer for. The negotiation took a bit of back and forth and like all negotiations, each party thinks their perception is right. At the end, there was a bit of compromise on both parties though I feel I gave in more. Once we agreed, shipping was fairly easy though we faced some custom issues since I don't currently reside in the US. That resolved itself though in a few days so was not a big issue.

I bought a 91 Panerai. Watch was "as advertised" without any misleading or embellished advertisement. I spoke to David Salamanca who answered my questions and wasn't at all pretentious, as some high-end luxury time dealers can be. They were negotiable on price and I got my watch the next day.
