I tend to hire a car for contracted work that I do. In this case I needed something for five weeks. I'd steered clear of VWFS previously because I could not bring the excess down to zero. I've found a way around that with a third party insurance policy to cover any damage I might incur. So I was able to hire from VW Parkway in Derby

Firstly, the price was very competitive when compared to other so called Premium Car Hire companies. It was also a refreshing change to be told that I will be given exactly what I booked. The car was only a couple of months old, less than 1500 miles on the clock and in immaculate condition. The T&C's are more than fair. There is no hard sell on extras that I don't actually need.

Service at the Dealership was great. Professional, friendly and very helpful. Just how it should be.

On returning the car I was greeted by the same lady. The booking back in process was quick and efficient, again friendly and professional. No hidden charges or games over the condition of the car. She walked around the car, took plenty of photos of the general condition and checked I had returned it with the same amount of fuel when I collected it.

I will definitely use the service again. Thank you.

Rental that did exactly what it said in the tin - brilliant! No painful booking out process, no insurance hard sell, decent and honest damage policy. Even had a small refund as I took the car back slightly early.....

This is the second time we have hired a vehicle from VWS. We hired a VW Golf which was brilliant, very easy to drive automatic , very comfortable inside and smooth ride overall. Jodie, Hayley and Andy helped us this time , and again we were super impressed with their professionalism, friendly courteous customer service and with a friendly smile. Very efficient process and easy to hire a car. You know what make and model you are getting plus you can call them directly without going through numerous option buttons on the phone!

We rented a car to explore the Peak District. Easy check-in, very helpful staff even when we had some issues with our card payment. Everything about the car was correctly arranged and clean. Would rent here again.

Rented VW-Transporter for 22-days. Must say the overall experience has been fabulous. Jodie has been very helpful throughout. Absolutely worth and value for money. Highly recommended...The VWFS, my 9th booking so far.

I was pleased to be able to book online the exact vehicle rather than just any old 5 seater .
The van was not at the garage when I arrived at the booked in time of 10 am . When it did arrive it was a new van but it was dirty and a used needle was found in the door pocket . I don’t think the van had been cleaned since it was last hired out in March . The spec of the van was good but I would have preferred to hire a Touran which was not available at Derby .

Although the car was lovely I was not informed I needed to put my foot on the brake to start the car. I needed to be shown controls generally as I drive an older car and don't know later models. I had to ask someone at my guest house how to open the hatch to get my suitcase out. Caused unnecessary anxiety. Otherwise everything was very efficiently dealt with

Really great service from start to finish. Even accommodating me collecting the car a day early. Everything was explained clearly to me. The car (T-ROC) was awesome to drive and has made my mind up that this will be my next car. 5🌟
