I've hired several Skoda Fabias now…
I've hired several Skoda Fabias now from VWFS - through Pulman Skoda Cramlington - from between 10 days and 4 weeks at a time for touring holidays in the Highlands & Islands of Scotland and Ireland. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. The cars are generally ultra low mileage and a year old at most, and clean and well presented. I've not had the need so far to require any assistance during the hire period i.e. breakdown, accident etc but I suspect VWFS would be good at sorting anything like this out if necessary, Always good to know you're hiring from a huge corporation rather than a back street hirer!!

No introduction to the car
I was given no introduction the car, I had to ask how to start the car and then how to switch off start/stop. Car was fine. Not sure about £1000 deposit for a Skoda Fabia. Staff very courteous on return.

Best Deal ever! made our holiday great
Brand New Car, we travelled all the way from the Toon to Cornwall, then to Norfolk and back to Newcastle, and we only used 2 tanks of fuel in full AC and 6 people on board! Skoda Kodiaq, what a car, wonderful service by the company as well.

Happy and helpful customer service makes such a huge difference
Excellent customer service and support from the start. This continued when I went to collect the vehicle, because of the completing of your standard paperwork online going into the branch and collecting the vehicle was very quick and straightforward.
Needed to extend the term of hiring towards the end of the agreement, this was a very easy process with yet more wonderful customer service. Happy friendly customer service advisors made the whole process stress free and easy.
I would definitely recommend and happily use again.

Convenient location and good value
Good price especially with the included insurance. Easy pick up and drop off. Clean car with ran well. I’d definitely rent from them again. One negative, the verification process supposedly to speed up pick up became a nuisance with being asked to share sensitive information over non secure email. This needs improvement.

Professional friendly service
Very grateful to Shahkiel for clearing up some misunderstanding and ensuring a positive experience with the company. All in all ended up being a great experience. Really efficient pick up and drop off, lovely staff at the garage and lovely staff on the phone. Shahkiel made sure everything went smoothly and I knew what to expect on returning the vehicle. Quick friendly and professional response to my queries and I’d definitely recommend for value for money.

Very straight forward & easy!
Renting with VWFS Rent-a-Car was so simple and hassle free, not to mention a better price than rental companies I’ve used religiously in the past.
I mostly dealt with Shak who took care of everything, and the staff I spoke to when I called & collected the car were helpful and friendly.
The car was exactly as described, ready for me getting to the dealership and the check in & out process was very easy.
Would 100% recommend and will use again.
