bought one of their expensive fans and the capacitor went just after the 2 year warranty ran out and am waiting 4 months now to try and get a replacement. my shop says it could take months - it has 👍 - and the vortice company say they won't sell the part to me as a customer. Avoid these circus clowns at all costs. Plenty of competitors offering similar products.
I paid £1500 for 3 extractor fans to be installed in October 2024 after Vortice came to assess the reason for black mould in my property and advised this was the solution. By February 2025 the mould had returned in one of the bedrooms and a new spot had formed in the lounge. I contacted them again and they returned and found the extractor fans weren’t performing as they should be. One electrician came out and fixed the kitchen fan but I’m still waiting for the bathroom fan to be fixed and still don’t have a confirmed date. The workmanship was also poor so I have mini surface trunking running along nicely decorated walls. Fed up of constant visits, constant chasing and no end date. Have made a formal complaint and requested refund and their response was for a director to visit. I don’t need anymore visits. They know what the issues are and just need to install the bathroom fan correctly. I’ve been incredibly patient, arranged my work calendar around their constant visits and agreed access into my neighbours garden so they can do the external works and still they can’t fix it! Just useless!
Have purchased 15 of their fans for a building that we maintain and more than 5 have become defective within a year. (Quadro Medio T). 2 of them went back to Vortice via our merchant and was told they have dicontinued them despite the 3year warranty they give and nothing can be done about them. Absolutely appalled is this company sell similar products with same dimensions where the parts can be used, yet they still claim nothing can be done about the ones we have purchased. Did not expect this from them. Just letting others know that they pull stunts when it comes to warranty
Beware of shipping costs for replacement filters. Couldn't find any other supplier to replace the Bathroom and Kitchen Quatro Super / Micro filters, so ended up buying from them directly. GBP 10 for shipping 2 types of filters, speechless!
UPDATE May 12th - Vortice just called me and confirmed there was a system error and I should not have been charged for shipping at all and now processing a refund. Upgrading to 5 stars accordingly. Good effort to read review, act and rectify! Well done!
