Staff very helpful but systems a complete joke. Kept crashing. Took over an hour to upgrade two Sums and buy a phone… terrible experience for a “tech” company…

Came into Vodafone to discuss my bill, Denzil managed to get me more for my money and save me £14 per month. Thank you for you're help.

I had gone into the store with my Mum and Dad for all 3 of us to have our phone upgrades sorted. We were looked after by Denzil, and he was fabulous. Couldn’t do enough for us, making sure we all had what we wanted and for good deals too. He went through everything for my mum and dad to make things easier for them and really did offer great customer service. A credit to the store!

Denzil was a star sorting my new phone and transferring after there was a slight problem. Made it all easy and wasn’t at all patronising.

Great as always - Lydia was excellent - clear, concice and friendly, could not ask for more. Have been with Vodafone for over 20 years and this was the easiest and most comfortable experience yet.

The service I received in store was very direct and didn't have to wait to be seen.
The shop assistant that served me seemed initially very uninterested and condensing towards my questioning. I felt almost patronised against because of asking whwt he odvsiously deemed as silly questions made clear from his eye rolling and huffing. He even kept dropping my bank card on the table instead of handing it back to me as well as the receipt being folded and casually thrown across to me.
He clearly picked up on my mood changed in reaction to this and clutched at some sort of small talk which frankly I had lost interest in. I just wanted to get the upgrade sorted and leave the store by this point.
I will have to go back to the store in a few months for a device upgrade, but really do not want to be served by this staff member.
He did do what was asked of him but I felt rather belittled by him.

Chichester Vodafone branch woes.

I’ve just ungraded my IPhone Pro 13 to the latest Pro 16.
I did this online and it was straight forward and easy, I opted to use the old iPhone as a trade in to reduce the monthly costs.

I selected Chichester Vodafone branch for the drop off.
After a long wait with no customer in front of me Sam handled my drop off.
Phone dropped off with digital receipt, a week later Vodafone still saying that they haven’t received it.

I’ve had trouble with the Chichester branch of Vodafone before and feel quite foolish using them again.

It’s a shame as Vodafone online and over the phone agents are excellent.
Their Chichester high street store is rubbish!!!

While on holiday on the south coast my previous phone broke and I had it temporarily fixed while I attempted to find a new phone as I was out of contract with Three so I visited the Chichester branch of Vodafone which was about 30 minutes from where I'm staying as they had a good deal on the phone I needed and crucially, had the phone IN STOCK. Made the application on Sunday to be told it had been 'referred' on the credit check for 24 hours. I have zero issues with my credit, I don't miss payments and have never had any applications 'referred' ever. The next day I attempted to find a phone number for the store to enquire whether they were ready to complete my application but there is no phone number. The irony of a phone shop NOT having a store phone is everything you need to know about Vodafone. Alas, I went out of my way, while on my holiday, to the store to get an answer. 90 minutes short of the 24 hours I was told there was nothing that could be done and no one to ask. 90 minutes passed and it was finally questioned at which point they informed me they needed to do "additional checks" and would contact me when this is completed. The next morning (the third day) I received confirmation that I could attend to collect the phone and complete the contract info. When I arrived, all was well until the store manager revealed the phone which was in stock that I had applied for three days earlier had been sold to another customer and therefore was no longer in stock. Having walked around all of the major phone companies three days earlier walking away from better deals because they didn't have the requested phone in stock, to find Vodafone had summoned me to attend their store for the third day in a row on my holiday just to find out they didn't have the phone, was unbelievably frustrating and probably another good insight into how useless the company are. I then had to drive 20 minutes down the road to Bognor Regis to complete a new application with them for a phone that I have not received any explanation as to why I had to wait three days of my holiday to receive. But why would Vodafone care, I'm only a customer. Desperately hoping Three reach out to attempt to retain me as a customer so I can ditch Vodafone, I'd probably take a worse deal just to get away from them, if only I had felt that way three days ago, I would've saved myself an enormous amount of time and energy - while on my holiday.

EDIT: You can see from the response where they totally ignored the phone being in stock at the time of the application being submitted. Why walk away from this company when you can run?

Sam was so helpful, kind, patient and polite that I stopped feeling like an idiot!!! There us a lovely relaxed but efficient feel about the shop.
