Maybe stop passing the application around the room would prevent unnecessary delays. Telling us "Patricia is doing her best" gave little comfort to our clients that were under enormous stress from the estate agent

To be able to talk directly to an Underwriter is a big bonus and makes the application to offer process much easier. I wouldn't hesitate to use Vida again, and I can't say that about many lenders!

Mark was very much pro active with the case for my clients, I really appreciate that he took time to pick up the phone and have a conversation with me and when we spoke it was a case of how can we get this deal over the line together, which is always nice to get that feel from underwriters that you dont always get. He also took time to educate me on things by giving me tips that can only help me serve my clients better going forward. I found a property and fell in love with it. There was a bit of back and fourth with it with Vida because of the commercial property that was close by. They said it would be down to valuers comments on whether we got the property. The valuer marked the property as not adjacent. Happy days….nope….we were then told that because of the property being in close proximity to the commercial that we would only get 75% LTV. Even though there’s clearly separated boundaries between the property I was going for and commercial property. So Vida has said one thing and done another and moved the goal post. Why did it take 5 weeks to get a no? Because you said based on valuers comments then changed your mind and said no anyway? So unfair on all involved who have spent money and got no where. Extremely disappointed.

By far, the best lender I have dealt with. Efficient service and excellent professionalism. I would highly recommend and use again in the future.

I’m a existing customer for Vida and my mortgage application getting treated like a worse one of the year it’s been 8 weeks from the application submitted keep asking for the documentation on final approval each document take 5 working days I have given them 6 or 7 times why they can’t asked for all the documents in same time no complain with my mortgage broker they did they best but I have told them not to submit a application with them but They said I have a mortgage with them already so should be something very simple now they westing my time and I’m losing my dream home.
