I have purchased multiple products from Va Vista at Lidl stores, what I’ve found consistent is a total lack of flavour from all of their products! Stupidly I purchased a tub of Lychee Sorbet a couple of days ago? Having consumed one third of of it I realised there is at least one Lychee in 100,000 tones of sugared ice water, so I counts as Lychee Sorbet! But it tasted in Sugar and
Water to me. Two thirds went to the bin.

Very quick. Friendly on calls, very good communication. Price affordable even with historical with insurance in the Uk. Nothing bad to point for now. Keep doing a good job.

So far so good. Tried to sell me add ons to my policy today nothing I needed. Initial quote was great price with many features. Slightly suspicious about why price so good having read some of the reviews on here.

My experience with them is very awful wont recommend for anyone going forward. I have 3 years of no claim discount, yet they are insisting I use 2 years because that is what they have in their record, just to milk more money out of my pocket.

Search online for a new quote, it was quick,easy and affordable price. Highly recommend

Very straight forward, everything was easy to read, using the add in tabs was a lot better than most companies too as you could actually see the breakdown within the polices

Far too complicated with third party credit arrangement. I must have had 10+ emails just to arrange car insurance!

Terrible Customer Service Been With Vavista For A Few Year's.
Renewal Is Due I Shopped Around And Got The Cheapest Quote From VAVISTA.
But They Said After Telephoning This Morning That It's A New Policy Quote.
My Renewal Isn't Due Till 21 Day's.
Same Thing Happened Last Year They Quoted Me £200 Over On Renewal.
But A New Policy With Them Is £200 Cheaper?
And I Cannot Renew Until They Send A Renewal Notice When There's 21 Day's Left For Renewal.
Today 16th September 2026 Got An Email For Renewal Of £604.23. 😡😡😡😡😡😡
I Cancelled The Auto Renewal Because VAVISTA Are A Rip Off As I've Just Took Out A Policy With Another Insurer For £430.

Don't Get Conned Shop Around For Cheaper Car Insurance.

If I could leave no stars I would - awkward and difficult from the start requesting driving license and DVLA proofs numerous times (even though we’d sent them ) I was getting constant emails threatening to cancel the policy - anyway after a little over 3 weeks of this and a problem with the car that required the garage taking it back we cancelled the policy and that’s where the fun started !
We got an email saying we had a cancellation charge of approximately £24 to pay which we called up and paid .
Over 2 months later we got another saying we were in arrears and owed them £241 !
They had made a mistake and it should of been £245 and were demanding the balance or we would be referred to ‘debt recovery company’

We have ended up getting charged over £500 for 3 weeks cover !

My advice would be to stay clear of Avista and shop around and even pay more elsewhere- they are totally incompetent.

Had annual renewal. Phoned next day to remove 1 named drivers and break down cover no other changes and the price went UP by £100 Ridiculous

So far so good and the cheapest car insurance during the week upto my renewal.

Most economical renewal premium I could find for the fully comp insurance I wanted. Easy application and confirmation of application and their process. Received my documents by email. Would highly recommend!

It was very easy to get insurance with Vavista and I’ve been with them before and it was a great experience and hence the reason why I’m back, it’s just a shame we have to keep jumping around insurance companies due to price comparison websites, wish quotes would be standardised then that would eliminate this issue.
