Arranged for a item won at auction to be picked up and delivered to my home address. Never done anything like this before so was worried about getting scammed in some way. Paul was brilliant and communicated promptly, when asked for a quote and then communicated thoughout, and even delivered the item into the house and not just at the door, as it was too heavy for my 13 year old to carry. I wish the auction house had recommended Van4us in the first instance, as I was getting ridiculous quotes from other companies or they were unable to arrange delivery due to weight of item.

One cannot fault Van4Us in anyway. I would say that Van4Us are possibly one of the most professional firms I have ever dealt with. Paul is very experienced with his collection and delivery; goods are always looked after well. I can very highly recommend in every way this top class delivery business.

I have used Vans4Us on 50+ occasions over the last 8 years. I would describe them as a cost effective means of shipping items bought from auction houses around England & Wales. Totally reliable and hassle free. I simply forward the relevant Auction House Collection Note to them and they then do the rest. The item then turns up anywhere between 2-10 days later. I have used them for auction lots costing up to £20,000 ranging from very large paintings, delicate glass and ceramics to heavy pieces of furniture. I have utilised a number of other fine art logistics companies to ship items from auctions in Scotland, Ireland & Europe (as Vans4Us) don't cover those Countries and whilst most of those companies have also provided a decent service - my first choice would always be Vans4Us. I would thoroughly recommend them.

My experience with Paul at van4us has been nothing but excellent, I have been using Paul as a courier to collect my purchases from auction houses, for over 6 yrs, he comes to me every 2 weeks, as I have several items from different areas and auction houses, so we find its best to wait until we have a few items to deliver to me, but I am sure that if a new customer uses him for just a one off, then he will accommodate them to get their item safely delivered. My items are exceptionally stored in coloured coded crates wrapped in blankets, (this is the best method to deliver most couriers do not take such care) he has gone over and above in helping me, messaging me and keeping in contact regarding delivery days and times. If on the rare occasion I have not been at home, he has a good lock up facility and stores my items safely. He has several vans of different sizes and can accommodate all manner of items and sizes. He has built up a very good reputation and has regular clients.

I have used Van4Us for a long time and I have never experienced anything but excellent service. Goods have always arrived in the condition that they left the auction house. I thoroughly recommend them as a courier.

They ask £50 plus VAT to collect and deliver a parcel under 1kg. Beware of this rip-off "courier' company.

Used Paul from Van4Us to collect some lots from an auction a while back, communication was terrible, no idea when I would be collected or delivered until it just showed up. Never sent me an invoice then started chasing me for me and only got one over once I gave him an alternative email and the it arrived with a late fee! Avoid using them for your auction deliveries.

As the director of an auction house dealing with antiques and artworks at all value levels we can highly recommend Paul ( van4us) for safe , fully insured and fully professional service. many years of experience, their vans are always well equipped with correct packaging, ties, moving blankets, and he and his team have an experienced understanding of the possible fragility of everything they transport.

I have to say, I am surprised by the negative review because we have used this courier three times and what has impressed us most is that they have picked up and delivered very quickly. They were recommended to us by two of the auction houses in fact. The latest delivery has arrived within three working days of being cleared by the auction
house, before we have even received an invoice!

Courier company recommended by Bushey Auction house to deliver bought items from bushey to Cambridge ABOUT 1 HOUR away .
Pretended to experience difficulty finding house but failed to telephone sender us and questionable whether actually in the street.When receiver called driver a few minutes later asking him to deliver driver refused saying not in the area! .we as sender tried to get him to go but met with abusive language and personal insults which cannot be printed here .BEWARE .
