We had a group trip with vamos expeditions. And everything from the pick up at the airport till the drop of was amazing. We had a private chauffeur who drove us safely to the best spots in Cusco and nearby region. Everything was very personal and created with lots of experience and love. The accommodations were perfect for our group and we will always remember the great view of the stars at night. Highly recommend Vamos Expeditions and Team

Excellent company! Impeccable organization and a great team of friendly and helpful guides. Exceeded all expectations and the accommodations were far better than expected in prime locations, all for a very reasonable price. Went out of their way to organize a few atypical trip excursions and everything was seamless and I felt well looked after. Would highly recommend for any considering a solo adventure trip to Peru, as I wouldn’t have had nearly as amazing an experience without them.

Eine fantastische Reise durch Peru! Danke an Annelies, Pablo, Marisol, Carolina und dem gesamten Vamos Team für diesen unvergesslichen Urlaub. Wir waren 3 Wochen unterwegs und haben so viel von Peru gesehen. Wir hatten von Anfang an (Reiseplanung) bis zur Abreise ein sehr gutes Gefühl in den richtigen Händen zu sein. Alle Transfers, Flüge und Ausflüge waren top organisiert, die Auswahl von Freizeit und Sightseeingtouren waren optimal! Die Reiseleiter haben uns sehr persönlich betreut-wir waren wie eine große Familie! Wenn ihr überlegt Peru wirklich kennen zu lernen und an Orten zu verweilen, Dinge zu Essen und Information zu bekommen, die nicht im Reiseführer stehen, dann mit Vamos Expeditions!!! Peru ist jetzt auch unser Land mit vielen Freunden und tollen Bekanntschaften! Einfach nur Wow 🤩!!

Annellis and Vamos Expeditions set up an amazing tour of the Galapagos Islands. Their local knowledge paid off with a great naturalist, a great boat and crew. The natural beauty of the island cluster was tremendous, with the stepping stones of natural selection laid out, island by island. The arrangements were great starting when we arrived in the Quito, and Annelies' care for each group member's experience was obvious. Her love of nature and local people was always apparent too. I recommend any trip with Vamos.

Thank you Vamos, for helping us to create the most special trip to Peru in December 2022 to January 2023. During a time when many would not consider traveling, we trusted you to be our ears and eyes on the ground. You not only welcomed us with open arms, but kept in communication with your contacts, on top of changing events, and the guides and drivers treated us like family. Traveling with our 2 year old toddler and senior parents could not have been easier. A safe car seat was provided, and cribs set up in our hotel rooms upon arrival.  Our guides, Carolina in Lima and Marisol in Cusco, went above and beyond and we can't wait to come back to see them again and more of this beautiful country.  Hasta la proxima!

Annelies, the owner of Vamos Expeditions, is amazing! So kind and competent and responsive. Her company has nearly twenty years of experience running trips in Peru and through Latin America and are leaders in ethical, sustainable travel in the region. They have contacts in local communities seldom visited by tourists, so if you travel with them, you are sure to have an authentic, immersive experience. Now is a great time to travel to Peru! I didn’t run into any issues with protests or political unrest. I also felt totally safe here as a solo woman traveler. The Peruvian people are so kind and friendly and I was enchanted by the vibrant culture and the beauty of the landscapes. The trekking was also amazing! I hope to come back soon!

2 GEWELDIGE weken in Peru met de familie ( 7 personen ). Wat een mooi land, natuur is overweldigend, de Inca's steeds aanwezig :)
Goede hotels, transfers allemaal zeer goed georganiseerd. Reisgidsen steeds correct, super vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
In politiek onstabiel Peru op dat moment, vlotte switch van programma. Heb mij geen seconde onveilig gevoeld.
Nogmaals, voor mij was het een groot avontuur en heb er zo van genoten.

Vamos=Trusted=Local Guides=Up-to-Date Info=Magical, Perfect Trip! Vamos planned our PERFECT 8 day adventure to Peru. We luckily went Dec 20 to 28, 2022 during a peaceful holiday pause of civil-political protests. Prior to our trip, Vamos gave us daily email updates about the current situation. For example, we would hear "breaking" USA news that the Machu Picchu (MP) train tracks were damaged and train wasn't working-oh no/chaos/cancel trip. Vamos would email back and inform us that those tracks were already fixed and the train was working-yay, trip is back on! Best decision ever. Words/photos can't describe how magical MP is. You gotta experience it yourself. Due to many people cancelling, we had MP to ourselves. So quiet, SAFE, and peaceful.

Vamos customized our trip per our request for 2 families (total 4 adults and 4 teenagers). Annelies and Alvaro are so kind and organized our trip. They were VERY prompt via email to answer questions. We bought our airfair from USA-Lima. Our Vamos excursion included the Latam airfair (Lima-to-from-Cusco), 2 days in Cusco, 1 day Ollantaytambo (Sacred Valley), 2 day Inca Trail to MP (overnight at hotel), 1 day excursion to Maras/Moray. All the hotels, trains, buses; plus a private van/driver in Cusco, Sacred Valley, and Maras/Moray. One guide, either Patricia and Fernando, were with us on all days minus Lima (per our request). Both guides fantastic and great with our kids; both live in Cusco and were fluent in English.

We had an amazing experience in Peru with Vamos Expeditions. They took care of everything and made the trip stress free. Their staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke great English. The itinerary they provided was super detailed and gave us the right amount of time in each place. For our family this was a once in a lifetime trip and our kids loved it.

We went 3 weeks to Peru , organised by Vamos Expeditions. It was a personal adjust combination of cities, history, nature, food, culture and beautifull people full of hospitality. The guides were so funny and enthusiastic. Friendly and helpfull.
The hotels were well picked and everything was very well organised. Even in times of problems they were reachable and had solutions. They brought us to very special places. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience. To recommend without doubt❤️🙏

We did the four-day Salkantay trekking to Machu Picchu with the great guides of Vamos Expeditions. Americo and Javier were an incredible support and guided us through the high peaks of the Andes. Leonardo, Alejandro and Claudio made sure that we are delicious food that served as fuel to get us across. We couldn’t have imagined this trek to have gone any better. Thank you so much for everything! Extra shoutout to Americo to also show us the rainbow mountain the next day!!

We went with 14 friends on the salkantaytrekking with Americo and Javier. They were the most friendly, capable guides that we ever had! They were always friendly, gives a lot of information. Also the food was very very delicious, thanks to Abraham, Claudio, Leonardo and alleandro, they gives us the best food of our trip trough Peru! We were very very spoiled. Thanks to all this guys to give us the time of our lives! Everybody has to go on a trip with Americo, Javier, Leandro, Claudio and Alleandro!

We did the salkantay trek with Americo and Javier, they were amazing guides with a lot of knowledge and responsibility, they were very kind and helpfull 🤩 Also the cooking team was amazing with delicious meals and they were all so nice 🤩 Big thanks to Americo, Javier, Claudio,Alejandro, Leonardo and all the others from the team who helped us and did the Salkantay trek with us 🤩

We had a great experience with Vamos expeditions! We did the Salkantay trekking with Vamos and had a lovely time! The team of our trekking was amazing! The guides were very professional and know what they are doing. The cooking team was amazing - the dishes they cooked were at restaurant level ! We were very happy of the VAMOS service.
