Fantastic showroom with wide choice and excellent staff who were attentive and interested without being over bearing or pushy. A very simple purchase process and the delivery service was again excellent.

When we need new furniture, we only go to Ash Vale Furnishers. We have bought two large orders from Ash Vale and have been more than happy with the results. Amanda was our sales adviser, this time, and she couldn’t have been accommodating or friendly. I’m sure we were not the easiest customers as my daughter, who doesn’t live with us, had to come and try out the sofa before we bought it. Amanda was happy to wait for the sale to allow her to sit on each sofa we’d tried, until she settled on the same on as us.
The delivery was seamless. The men were very polite and strong!
We won’t buy furniture any where else.

Very helpful & friendly as soon as you walk in the door, nothing is too much trouble for them, bringing you a lovely cup of coffee whilst you're choosing fabrics, even the delivery drivers are friendly too, a pleasure to deal with & I love the shop everything so well laid out, have recommended several people.

Great Showroom with friendly staff. Great quality furniture for all budgets. Great aftercare service and FREE delivery to North West Kent as well. Would highly recommend. Beware though that they do not accept credit cards but do offer good alternative payment methods.

The whole customer experience from start to finish was outstanding. We travelled up to Vale Furnishers from Dorset following a recommendation from friends and our first impression was 'wow' what a great selection of furniture!! We were searching for a table and six chairs to compliment our new kitchen / diner and tbh we just couldn't find anything suitable in our local furniture stores.
The staff at Vale were very helpful but not overbearing
at all as we spent a considerable period of time looking at different options. Unfortunately though my wife and I just just couldn't agree and so we approached Alan for his advice and guidance. Alan was brilliant, extremely patient, we were not rushed and with his help we finally decided to purchase a Callagaris table and 6 chairs which we are now very pleased with.

Sales staff were helpful but not pushy - Barbara couldn't have been more helpful when I kept changing delivery dates... nice to shop with a store that has good old fashioned values... knocks Furniture Village into next week

This morning I received another delivery from Vale Furnishing - a large display cabinet. I previously purchased a sofa and a large side board. The delivery was made by Kev (his third delivery here) and Aaron. They were very pleasant and helpful. Placed the furniture exactly where I wanted and cleared every little bit of packaging. Also made sure that they took their shoes off on the way in. And arrived within the two-hour slot given a few days before. The unit looks amazing. Vale Furnishers has always set the Gold Standard for quality products, customer service and delivery over the 30 years I have shopped there. It continues to maintain it's position and dealing with them is always a very pleasant experience . Thankyou.

Outstanding customer service. I bought a reclining sofa around 18 months ago. Over the weekend the electrics stopped working. I called on Monday around midday, an engineer was booked and came out at 10am Tuesday. Identified the fault, left a spare transformer and ordered a new one. Less than 24hrs from reporting the issue to being resolved. Simply outstanding service - prompt, polite and professional from start to finish. Highly recommend

Vale furnishers sold an Alessio sofa to us, which was supposedly made for them. It turns out that it was made by Natuzzi. If I had known this, I would never have purchased it as I have had bad experiences with Natuzzi before.

Although Vale's customer service was great, the sofa is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. It was made of cheap materials ie. mdf and hardboard. It broke for the first time when it was just out of Vale's warranty. As the sofa was covered by Natuzzi's 10 year frame warranty, s man was sent to repair it. It is now 6 years old now, and the frame has broken once again.

During the time we have owned the sofa, it has been regularly used, mainly at weekends. It has never been abused or subjected to any mistreatment.

Unfortunately, as a result of this bad experience I will not be purchasing anything further from Vale.

Bought a sofa from Vale Furnishers. Excellent experience, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a smooth delivery process. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

We purchased a rather pricy dining table in May, but at the point of installation the extending mechanism was faulty. they sent a second person to verify who agreed that the table was faulty and reported as such. However when I contacted them to find out what was happening I was told I had to provide a video. They agreed in the end to send us another table but only the top (I explained that my suspicion was the legs were at fault too) which was also faulty. During the struggle to fix this, I overheard the installer saying that "Gemma told them to bring the old top back and hopefully it will work and will give the faulty table to another customer and hope they will not notice. I found that rather unprofessional. In the end they decided to ask supplier for a new table, but nobody got back to me with a feedback. I have to constantly chase them. last time I spoke to someone, they told me that indeed it looks like I was overdue a feedback! It is not mid September and I was promised another table top, despite the fact I believe the entire table is faulty and wonder if they do send me a tabel that another customer rejected and tehy hope I do not notice.

I purchased a “designer” dining room chair at the Farnham branch, in 12/23 before the branch closed, in the sale. 2 months ago I saw, after hardly any use, the seat cover (behind where your knees would be), had started to crack and peel. The chair rrp was
£459, so I’d assumed it was leather, but after some research I discovered it is “vintage leather, which is a bi-cast leather.
Unfortunately, once bi-cast starts to peel, the damage tends to spread quite quickly. It is possible to patch it up temporarily with a Leather Repair Paint from a kit, (which I tried, wholly unsuccessfully), but ultimately it will need to be reupholstered”. I’ve investigated this and it’s likely to cost in the region of £300. I spoke with Vale Furnishers who confirmed that that particular manufacturer only offers a 12 month guarantee. I’m speechless - and obviously disappointed and annoyed - so my message here is “buyer beware”!

From ordering a mattress to the actual delivery, I experienced excellent service. The delivery guys Gavin and Scott were polite, professional and very helpful.

My sister lives near Vale Furnishers and has also bought from them in the past. My wife and I have been looking for bedroom furniture for a while - looking at many stores -but no joy. My sister suggested Vale Furnishers. so we went and had a look. Job done!! OMG it was a relief to find quality products and very helpful staff. No pressure leaving us time to look around. We were so impressed that we also bought a couple of swivel chairs for our lounge. Good choice and delivered on time to the Horsham area. They treated our house with respect covering their feet automatically. My daughter now shops there too and have bought a couple of sofas. We're going back again soon for more furniture. A great experience. We dealt with Carmen Durbaca a Sales Advisor who not only knew her products but went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. Well done and keep it up

We had been looking for black velvet dining chairs for months. When we went to visit Vale furnishings a few months ago, we were overwhelmed with their choices of dining chairs and found exactly what we were looking for. The lady who served us was also very friendly and helpful without being too pushy. We would highly recommend this shop!

Absolutely love our new dining table and chairs, just what we were looking for. The showroom is great, so much choice, and Harvey was very helpful.
We wanted to donate our old table and chairs to charity, and after making arrangements for it to be picked up the day before our new ones were to arrive, we were let down at the last minute. Vale furnishers came to the rescue however, took them away no problem. A big thanks to Mark and Aaron for delivering and installing seamlessly. We were kept informed at every step. Such a professional company to deal with.

Knowledgeable salesman, met timescales. The two delivery guys were brilliant, so careful with the furniture and ensured they were placed exactly as we wanted them. The two sofas are stylish and comfortable.

I rarely write reviews but Vale deserves it. Fabulous showroom - enormous selection of great looking stuff!
Friendly service, that leave you alone to browse and are on hand if you have any questions.
We bought an arm chair and are delighted with it. Made by Fama (a Spanish company), just one of the quality brands that Vale supplies.
The delivery guys were awesome - really friendly and took the boxes of bric-a-brac in support of the charity, Phyllis’s Tuckwell.
Without doubt I will return for my next furniture purchase…
