I waited two weeks for my hallway and…
I waited two weeks for my hallway and kitchen lino to be fitted yet when they came to fit them they laid it badly.
The hallway lino has knife cuts across doorways and the kitchen lino which has squares is croaked, so after informing the lady bay shop they sent someone round to have a look and confirmed it had been poorly laid.
I went back to the shop and chose a lino without squares as I didn't trust the fotters to do a good job..
I ordered a new lino and waited for a call to let me know when the fitters were coming but 3 weeks later i never got a call so I phoned and asked what was happening.
I was i formed the lino had been delivered to the store a week previously and was forgotten about.
A new fitting setvice was scheduled for 8am on tuesday 7th but they never arrived.
The customer service is appalling

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your experience was not up to our usual high standards. After speaking with the store directly, I would like to take the opportunity to clarify a couple of the points you raised.
The store have confirmed that the initial fitting of the original vinyl was not up to our usual standards. This was completed by a new, independent fitting team who have since been removed from the store's referral list.
When the store inspected the flooring, you were invited back into store to select another vinyl. When the new vinyl arrived in store, they tried to contact you on 25th (once) and 26th (4 times) but were unable to reach you. They then provisionally booked you in for the soonest available fitting date with a different independent fitter. When you contacted the store you chose to re-book that date for the 7th.
The fitters did arrive on the 7th. Unfortunately due to an issue with the subfloor, the fitting was not able to be completed, however you have been re-booked for another date and you flooring should be completed in the next couple of weeks.
On the rare occasion that there is an issue with an order, our teams go over and above to rectify any problems as quickly as possible. In this case they inspected and replaced the vinyl swiftly, and re-booked your fitting as early as possible. They have also taken steps to ensure that the fitting issues are not repeated for any other customers.
I hope that when your flooring is completed you are fully satisfied, but if you have any issues in the mean time, please do not hesitate to contact the store directly.

Brilliant experience
I chose United carpets to carpet a full house, staff in store were very friendly, helpful and kept me up to date with the order of the carpets. The man who came to do the measurements was excellent I think his name was Tibor. The two men who came to fit the carpets, Gavin and Liam were brilliant and did a fantastic job, couldn’t be more happier. Massive thank you to you all.

5 Star service in the end!
Had abit of a rough start trying to get (Jayden, Brayden) fitter to come n him letting me down 3 times. Rang Andrew at the shop n had a moan, he was fantastic, n sorted it out straight away. Hall and Stair Carpet
Just used United carpets Scunthorpe again for our hall stairs and landing and a bedroom fitting. Great service from the gentleman who originally helped us in the showroom (informative not pushy) reasonable price and 2 fitters that came did a good job too. Thank you

Had a laminate flooring fitted by Makka Walker and his work colleague, these guys are absolutely amazing they cracked on and got the flooring down with a very high standards finishing. I would 1000% recommend.

Staff go above & beyond to make the customer happy & im not an easy person to please:)
prices were reasonable , quality good& everything organised & explained well.
The fitters did everything i asked ie. fitting vinyl under washer & cupboards, helped with moving fridge & freezer although small ones!
I did move the washer as they don’t want to be responsible for damage, (i understood this.)

Last week I called in to United Carpets…
Last week I called in to United Carpets Dudley to view some carpets for my bedroom. I was met with a very friendly sales person called Darren. Having explained what I was after Darren showed me the area of carpet I should be looking at and was then left in peace to wander at my leisure. I was in no way pestered or bothered by any sales people (which I liked very much) until I asked for help. Darren was very helpful, explained which underlay was most suitable for the carpet I had chosen, and bearing in mind that I am an amputee wheelchair user, which underlay would be better for the wheelchair use.
I also needed a rug made to my special dimensions which would have to be sent away to have the edges bound and secured. Ismail, the manager, explained what I could have and I chose the carpet to be made into a rug for my lounge and Ismail took care of the rest for me.
The bedroom carpet was fitted yesterday by a very pleasant gentleman called Chris. Chris made the fitting experience much easier for me by his helpfulness with the bed moving and his pleasant attitude. The carpet is now down and looks great. There was no mess to clear up and the whole experience from the purchasing, from the booking a fitting date, to the actual fitting was much easier than I thought it would be. Thank you guys.
I am now looking forward to my lounge rug to be delivered which will be on Monday coming.
I would like to thank Ismail and his staff for the very helpful way they looked after me and made choosing my carpets much more pleasant than I was expecting it to be.

Wrexham branch what can i say other than ten out of ten,from start to end they have always come up trumps,fantastic store staff who care about your needs and aim to fulfill them,from measuring,estimates and great quality products,had bedroom carpets fitted excellent quality,fitted a large conservatory today with high quality vinyl and waiting for stairs to be done now with stair runner. The fitters are the most nicest guys and helpful. Highly recommend.
