Aftersales service is poor, they only answer around every third email if that. They've had a part on order to replace a faulty unit for 6 months now and, having initially told me that the part is still on order, they have now simply stopped replying to my emails.

Fantastic customer service - I bought a semi commercial macerator and had a fault with it due to user error (wet wipe down the toilet). The customer service from Uniflo was really excellent. They sent me out the replacement part I needed free of charge even though I told them it was due to incorrect use and they were ever so helpful on the phone. Paula in their support team was great, she talked me through what I needed to do with the macerator and she was kind enough to find my warranty details when I was unable to produce them. She sent the spare part out that day with first class post as she knew I had holidaymakers coming soon.
And best of all I was able to phone and get through to a human straightaway without any time on hold or endless options to press. A very refreshing service nowadays! Thank you, Uniflo...

If only every customer support team were as good as these guys. After a pumber had let me down I decided to install the macerator myself. The whole Uniflo team were so helpful in guiding me through the insatllation and follow up. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they have the patience of many saints! Speak to them first for any of their wide range of sanitory products. Do not go anywhere else if you want good products at good prices and the tremendous back up which comes as normal. They know their products inside out. Completely recommend Uniflo with confidence.

Very fast delivery. I ordered a macerator pump online at noon on the Monday it was at my door the next day at 10.15am can't say better than that. Macerator not fitted yet but it looks the part with easy to follow instructions complete with a engineers number if we get stuck. Super service.

Super product! Adam mega helpful at base, allowed us to fit toilets at rear of village hall conversion without need for 4 inch drains, now been in for 9 months working perfectly! Great option! Lots of people told me horror stories about using macerators but so far so good!

Just had a new a new basement shower room installed. The plumber informed me I needed a Macerator pump and recommended them. All up and running, works a treat.

We bought a uniflo compact boost pump. What a brilliant product. Our choice was to install a new water pipe to the house or buy a booster pump. At home we have a salamander pump but for this rental house we chose the uniflo new pump. It is less than half the price and twice the boost. It is connected via tails and does not need to be vertical. It comes on every time the water is drawn, making filling a bath possible. We put it next to the boiler on the cold water feed about a meter after the stop tap. The electric shower will now work upstairs and the tenants are amazed. We cannot sing the praises enough of this little pump and cannot understand why it isn't marketed better. With postage ours cost £120. There is noise, we can hear a throbbing noise but we haven't encased it in anything as yet. Uniflo, make sure that you advertise this pump, every little terraced house on a Victorian shared main needs one!

Purchased a hot water tap from this company. wrong installation manual enclosed which some angry rude man said this is normal and would I like an engineer to come and fit it for me?, the parts shown are different so is guess work, fitted the tap yesterday and the unit burst internally after 1 hour and i had to disconnect it, just spoke to the same aggressive man and as I can not send the “guarantee card” back (Never recieved one in the box), he is “not bothered if i send it back and he does not want to talk to me anyway”

So in a nutshell - the type of company you always hope you will never have the misfortune to come accross on the internet.

AVOID - not just bad products customer service non existent

In February 2017 we needed to buy two 3 way macerator pumps for our new home. We looked on the internet and found this company on eBay. Their Uniflo3 macerator seemed to fit the bill, it came with some glowing reviews and was half the price of saniflow. So, given the price difference and the claim that they pride themselves on their engineers and customer service, we made our purchase. We then told our next door neighbour who needed a new pump about the company - who had fulfilled their promise of next day delivery - so we felt confident to do so. She bought one in March 2017 and had it installed a few weeks later. We however, did not install ours until just before we moved into our new home in December 17. We all noticed that they were quite noisy and would flush without us being in the bathroom. But they seemed to work ok,
About 6 weeks ago the pump in our main bathroom stopped working - the motor just stopped. We contacted their wonderful customer services who told us they were out of warranty as we bought them in Feb 17. The fact that our pump was not used until December 17 was, they said irrelevant and we would have to buy a new one. Our neighbours pump - which is in her guest bathroom and hardly used - packed up a few days later.

We all decided to bite the bullet and buy a new pump with the hope that we could get them to repair the broken ones as they had such amazing engineers.
They are out of stock we were told they will be available in a week.

We have phoned and emailed - and I notice that the product has been removed from eBay so there is obviously a problem with them so on Monday we ordered a new pump from a different company which arrived yesterday and has been installed today - it is neither noisy nor does it flush on its own - fingers crossed.

I'm afraid that this company does not have excellent customer service and their MD has ignored an email I sent weeks ago and it would appear that their products are poor too.

As I said AVOID if you want an easy life.

Purchased from Uniflo as they promoted themselves as a family business. My UNIFLO UNIRATOR PROFESSIONAL KITCHEN SINK WASTE DISPOSAL UNIT went wrong after 5 months of light use. From the beginning should have realised things not quite right as although suggests its one of their own products it's actually a Chinese 'Cleesink' made product.
I contacted the company to arrange repair & was advised I would need to pay to return it. I advised this was not in line with trading standards guidelines. They responded by offering 'as a goodwill gesture' £10 towards the £16 cost.
Communication was curt and no hint of an apology for inconvenience. No further communication & some 2 weeks later a parcel arrived unannounced & without any covering letter, explanation, apology or refund of postage. It was unclear what was wrong with the unit or what they have done. We have yet to try it as we had to purchase another unit due to the time delay.
I wrote to the CEO to highlight my poor customer experience including not having received the promised 'good will' postage refund as I felt he might be interested in improving customer experience in future.

To date no one has had the courtesy to respond, I can only assume Mr Hinchcliffe CEO, does not care about his customers or the reputation of his company.
