Great service at every stage
Preliminary contact from both my builder and me was fully recorded on the company's system, so when I finalised my order all the information was easily accessed and ordering was straightforward with the same customer agent, Layla. CAVEAT EMPTOR
CAVEAT EMPTOR:
Regretfully this company is selling "External" doors which are not fit for purpose and failed so badly within 2 months of fitting that they need replacing. Delivery also included faulty items which were replaced, albeit slowly.
- They are not suitable for exterior use
- They are not solid oak (the laminate is bubbling in numerous places)
The company is refusing to accept liability because of their warrantee exemption clause states the doors should not be used without an awning. Our doors are placed under a protruding roof which prevents the fitting of an awning. They are failing at the base, where an awning would not have helped.
We have spent £5,000 on the doors including the weather bars - sold as required "when your door is exposed to the weather". I have been in contact with the CS team for several weeks, but their refusal to take ownership of these poor quality doors has led to this review.

Prior to installation, all customers receive our maintenance and care guide specifically for our Solid Oak External Doors. This guide includes essential instructions on how to protect the longevity and appearance of these products. As noted, you reviewed and agreed to these instructions, which outline the requirement of a protective porch or canopy with a minimum of 800mm coverage. This measure is particularly important for optimal performance, as it helps shield the natural product from direct exposure to the elements.
Our external doors must be stored, treated, and maintained according to specific guidelines to ensure that they deliver the durability and quality expected. Following these guidelines rigorously is necessary to activate the warranty. This information can be viewed via the link below, which is also available on each product page and can be provided through phone support.

Unfortunately, if the agreed to instructions are not followed, it limits the extent to which we can assist. Adhering to the care guidelines is essential to achieve the best results and allows us to offer full support.

Although rather expensive the doors and hardware I purchased are of a very high quality and have transformed the cottage!!
I also found the telephone staff more than helpful on each occasion I needed to call.
