Always like to support small businesses but customer service is very poor would not recommend or use this brand again

Very satisfied with my dungarees. Arrived super quick too! Lovely material.

Really nice fabric and quality, good pricing when it’s in the sale. Sizing is a little generous difficult when you are between sizes. Really liked the kids clothing and lasts well! Not the easiest to return (I’ve ended up keeping 2 dresses that I should have got in the smaller size!

Ordered a selection of things, some were quite nice but one of the orders never arrived (they were sent as 3 separate parcels - weird) then when I enquired about it I didn’t get much support and they said the item had since sold out and that they’d emailed me about that but I never received that email. I did get a refund offered though.

Won’t be purchasing from them again. Not worth it for me.

Bought the Girls’ Mystery Bundle for £35 which is of course a bit of a gamble, but was disappointed with the contents. Nothing with good prints, very plain and nothing like any of the nice designs some of their clothing comes in. I purposely chose the girls’ bundle as I was hoping for some more fun prints and colours, or dresses/skirts, but I got a very gender neutral/boys’s bundle. I don’t mind this too much but two of the items were in the same grey check fabric and I got two sweaters. Guess I was just hoping for a bit more variety. Feel this was definitely a good opportunity for them to get rid of old slow selling stock. Will sell the items on Vinted and hope to make some of the money back. The sweaters feel quite thin.
Edit: my toddler has tried all the items on, and none are suitable. The dungarees in size 1-2 yrs are long but very tight on the legs, so they fit like tight- tight skinny jeans, and the cord fabric is extremely thin. The leggings are again long but very tight on the ankle and so keep coming down at the top. The sweaters are very tight and long on the arms. The sizing is strange. Can’t return any of the items as this was a condition of purchase when I bought the bundle. Regret buying.

Ordered never arrived and was apparently send back to sender. Very odd. I emailed them for help and still haven’t heard back, apparently they have only one customer service woman who is on holiday. Great. But apparently she still is reading emails and will respond if it’s urgent, guess my missing/paid for items isn’t urgent enough. Still waiting to hear back about a refund.
I messaged early on a Friday and they said their hours were m-f so really crappy service to not get a response before the weekend.
Won’t order again and hope I get a refund soon

I have several of their dungarees and they are good quality, however customer support is absolutely shocking. I ordered beige gauze dungarees after checking all the stock pictures and the additional ones from real people they have on their website to make sure I really like that model. A completely different model has been delivered (they were stone colour and different material). I have checked Frye website again and they do have a listing of the item I have been sent. It has a different name and description (because it is a different model all together). When I messaged them with links to their website and pictures of product that has been delivered, after 4 days of waiting, I have been told they only use “beige” as a vague description. They actually tried to persuade me it is the same model and there is no mistake from their side. I am appalled. Would never order again or recommend them to any of my friends

Ordered a few bits for my almost 1 year old in the sale - a top and a couple of dungarees.

They were all in the same size however there is a significant difference in the sizing of the 2 pairs of dungarees, one of them fits him now.

Have decided to keep them as they were reasonable in the sale and they are lovely prints but I wouldn't order again as returns are not free.

I'm a quite fussy customer and Turtledove have impressed me with the speed of their service on each of the three occasions I've shopped with them. It's so nice to see a smaller, sustainable company have their house in such good order. Thank you team!

Purchased my first item from Turtledove and was really excited to receive it. Unfortunately even the size 1 was massive (Im a size 8-10!) And it just looked ridiculous so I arranged a tracked return at my expense.

Customer service surrounding returns wasnt great at all, I hadnt heard anything after a week of it showing as being delivered to them so I dropped them a polite email with the tracking asking for them to confirm that they had indeed got it. I received a short snotty email in return saying they were being dealt with and Id hear soon.

I received an email asking me to review the product but the link wouldnt work (conveniently) so I shall leave it here.

Dont appreciate rudeness. I did get my refund but I wont buy from here again.

No returns information - only a QR code which does not work. Emailed to request a returns address. Women's dungarees are enormous - shoulder straps way too long and pocket on the leg is bizarrely at knee level.

Just ordered my first pair of dungarees on here and can't wait to order again. An absolutely beautiful item in a lovely colour. The material is soft and excellent quality.

Once my order was placed I received the confirmation email immediately. I also received an email when the item was dispatched and then one from Royal Mail when it was due to be delivered. The item was packaged well.

I recently placed an order for a surprise bundle. Whilst the items I received were good quality, the range of items was not as described and I was left feeling disappointed. I wrote an honest review on Turtledove’s website, and gave them 3 stars. I have now noticed that my review has not been published with only 5 star reviews appearing. I find this disingenuous and unfair to customers wishing to read balanced views before purchasing. I am therefore leaving a review here and have knocked off a further star as I really dislike it when companies actively mislead customers.

I am in utter disbelief at these bad reviews as that’s just never been the experience I’ve had. I must’ve ordered at least 3 times over the last year and I have never had an issue. My items have always arrived on time, if there’s ever been a delay CS have always emailed and explained the situation and my order still arrived well within time.
The value for money during their sales and Easter bundle is insane, remembering everything is organic cotton and most items are around the £20 mark normally, I think they’re great quality.
They’ve always been great with sizing, with multiple button holes for sizing up on dungarees and stylish cuffs to fold over if they’re a little on the big size.
Most of their items work with a child’s growth in mind. Admittedly I only started to purchase turtle dove from when my son turned 2. I can imagine going through these with younger children as they grow so quickly.
I never thought to check reviews previous to making a purchase and I’m glad I didn’t because we’ve had brilliant clothes at amazing prices.
That being said, it is concerning that so many customers seem to have complaints. I do hope Turtledove can amend this so everyone is getting the same service I’ve had.

Frustrating that you are charged for postage and when you return your items you have to pay again at your own cost
I spent circa 50 pounds, returned both items and lost circa 10 pounds for the privilege. Won't be shopping here again

Placed an order 5 weeks ago. Didn't receive an email with delivery confirmation so emailed customer service after 1 week. Firstly to be told they were waiting on stock. Another week passed so i emailed again only to be told royal mail are holding orders. 4 weeks passed so emailed again only to be told royal mail has my order but there is a back log now and could take a while longer

Excellent customer service. Amanda in their customer service team went above and beyond to fix an error I made.

I’m really disappointed with the service of this online store. The product information on the website regarding out of stock or in stock is not up-to-date.
An online chat with the shop assistant is terrible inconvenient: the history of conversations is not saved, each time opening a chat you have to start new dialogue, thus, explain your problem again and again. The important links or order information are disappeared from chat. As a result you spend a huge amount of time to solve little problem. The management of the store doesn’t value the time of its customer.
A couple words about order. I ordered socks on sale and two other items without sale. I also used additional code for discount, as a result of application of all discount socks were supposed to be free 0 pounds. However, I received the order without socks. I was refunded £3 for delivery as an apology, although the discount for socks was £4. Ok, the difference is not significant, but I still wanted to receive the socks. I received an offer to buy socks at full price, that is twice as much. I was not interested in continuing to buy.

The best kids’ clothing in the world. I am SO in love with Turtledove. I’ve bought over 30 of their products and counting; they’re by far the best kids’ clothes I’ve ever found. Have even started buying adult stuff lately, and their items are quickly becoming my favourites too (wearing one as I type this). Please don’t change or go anywhere; I’d be devastated if I couldn’t dress my little one in Turtledove anymore! :)

Lovely children’s clothes. Great quality and very well priced items in the same shop. Bought a few times from here she everyone shears comments on my kids dungarees. They are wonderful. Speedy delivery also. Thank you
