I ordered a Germania Calvi TV stand in March 2018 and I didn’t receive the correct item until September 2018. Here is a list of the issues I have had:

- The first item which arrived was incorrect.  This matter was resolved with the correct size being ordered and a refund for £50 due to the assembly charge. Although I had to chase the refund a number of times. 
- I was due to receive the item in June I believe,  but I was told the item arrived and was faulty. This resulted in another being ordered. 
- The tv stand finally arrives in September but the legs are missing and delivered a day later.
- I had oringally paid for Saturday delivery but the delivery date kept on being in the week day hence the further delay in me receiving the item due to my work commitments.
-In June I had taken a day off work to receive the item to then be told it was not going to be delivered on the day it was expected. Thus I missed out on a days work!
- Unpacked the current tv stand and I am very disappointed with the quality.  There are scratches on the top and the draw is chipped on the front. 
-I decided to keep the product because my 65 inch tv was being left on the floor and needed a stand. I had just decorated and the only item missing was the tv stand.
-I had also requested as the item had gone into sale and I still hadn’t received the product due to the item being faulty, whether I could at least be refunded the price difference, but this was refused. To me this makes me no sense as I was within my rights to cancel the order and be refunded.
- I wrote a complaint on 11.09.2018 and sent pictures but I have received no response. I sent a further email on 15.10.2018 and automated response stated I would receive a response in 48 hours but this has still not been received.

I do wish the website clearly stated these problems are likely to occur and that the item might be broken/chipped on arrival. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing such an expensive product from this website due to the number of issues I have had. Also the item was not easy to assemble and I had to pay for someone to make it up for me. Even when this has been done, the draw does not close the way it should.

I have never completed an online complaint/ review but felt the need to about this item as I have had no further response from Trendy Products to the emails I have sent.

On a positive note, when I have had a spoken with the team they have been very empathetic and polite.

Found this site randomly online, they were doing a discount offer so I took advantage and ordered a living room unit.
Delivery was sooner than anticipated, I was contacted by LVT deliveries to confirm delivery date and given a time slot. Team phoned me approx 30 minutes before arrival, guys were very pleasant and asked which room I wanted delivery taken to, then got on with their job.
My partner put the unit together that evening, he said everything had great instructions and was easy to do.
The unit looks FANTASTIC and is very modern, certainly I have not seen anything in any of the big stores to compare, either with style, price or size, totally unique.
I would certainly recommend TRENDY PRODUCTS - brilliant service all round.

My husband and I bought the Ferrara Wall Mounted Shoe Cabinet from Trendy on 9 Sept 2018. I had to email the company for an invoice since the purchase wasn't initially confirmed. I then had to ring them to find out when the cabinet would be delivered, as after three weeks I still hadn't heard anything. They told me it would be delivered on 9 Oct and I received a text message from the courier confirming the delivery slot. On 9 Oct my husband worked from home in order to sign for the delivery: it never arrived. When I rang the couriers, I discovered they had forgotten to load the item on the truck. They apologised, said they would ring me back and didn't. I rang Trendy. They apologised and said they would reschedule the delivery. I asked for the delivery to be reimbursed: they agreed only after I pointed out that the courier service had said they would be reimbursing Trendy for the delivery charge, so surely they should pass this saving on to us. They rescheduled the delivery for the 16th. I stayed home and waited. Nothing. When I rang them they apologised and said it was actually for the 17th. Finally, on the 17th the cabinet arrived. The site said it was self-assembly: that usually means a hammer and screwdriver will suffice. The item was so shoddily built though that we had to purchase an electric screw driver to increase the size of the holes in the wood slats (otherwise the screws wouldn't go in), as well as to mount the damn thing on the wall. It also didn't come with the right bolts for drywall walls, so could only be mounted on a solid wall. I rang the company (again) and asked if at the very least they could give us a further discount, as we had to shell out for extra tools to put the thing together. They refused, and on top of this claimed that we had received a notification from the courier company of the 17 Oct delivery slot, and had never been told it would be delivered on the 16th. While the customer service staff were very kind, seemed embarrassed at the number of issues we had had, and did their best to help, the director was rude, wouldn't entertain the possibility that the courier service that had already made a mistake the week prior might be covering its back, and seemed to imply that we were lying--which was insulting to say the least. Overall a disappointing experience, and a bloody waste of time. Would *NOT* recommend!

I decided to cancel an order 4 weeks after I placed it. The item was already in production in Italy and I felt bad cancelling. The lady in customer services was really helpful. She tried to offer various alternatives and solutions, as ultimately they don't want to lose a sale, but I had to cancel the order, just didn't need it anymore unfortunately. I read some very negative reviews regarding their customer services and thought I'd post a positive review for my positive experience today.

I just wish to clarify the response to my review.

It reads as if I have not engaged with any remedial process. Trendy products left two voice mails and an email on Friday morning. I was in meetings and immediately emailed her when free later that day. The automated response said 48 hours. This would have been Sunday afternoon.

I received what I would describe as an angry call on Monday morning (today). As a customer, I was not prepared to be spoken to in that way. I said do and advised that I would speak another time.

My advice to future customers is that if you criticise their products in any way, then be prepared for unpleasant telephone calls, and misleading responses to your review. Not nice people to do business with.

In terms of the product itself, I am now also in the process of finding alternative feet as the ones supplied cause it to rock and be unstable.

I brought a tv unit in high gloss it turned up on time extremely easy to assemble and most of all looks amazing

Very happy with the service from start to finish. Item was delivered as promised and is really nice. Was a little bit worried about buying online but shouldn’t have been. Great product really happy with it.

I made a visit to trendy products showroom to have a look at the mirrors after seeing a particular one i liked online, the staff were amazing and the service was wonderful! Called in at the stunning Trendy Products showroom in Cardiff Bay whilst visiting family. Fantastic location with a sales team who know their products and understand their customers needs and requirements. Have just taken delivery of my Lenny chair and have to say the service received was first class from point of order to delivery. Will definitely be shopping again with Trendy Products in the not so distant future.

I placed an order for a marble coffee table from Trendy Products over the phone. Abigail and the rest of the team(sorry I can't remember your names)were very helpful and advised me that my item would be shipped into the UK and delivered in 4-6 weeks. I received my coffee table on time last week and am absolutely delighted with the quality of the product. Will definitely be returning when I am updating my bedroom furniture next month!

This was my first major purchase £2k from an online furniture provider. I was attracted by the extensive range and seemingly adaptable designs on their website for my tv room. The design team fronted by Deborah couldn’t have been more helpful. Once confirming my tastes around style I was able to provide dimensions of the room and tv and a CAD drawing provided that allowed me to visualise the furniture. I made a number of changes including suggestions from Deborah. When goods arrived the doors were the wrong colour. Without question these were replaced without any effort on my part. The result is stunning and bespoke for my space. If you want a Sunday times bespoke space without the price tag or a visiting sales person trendy products couldn’t be more highly recommended.

Outstanding service, highest quality. Myself and wife visited Trendy Products showroom in Cardiff bay (great selection of furniture on display) we were greeted with a smile and free cuppa tea. Left to browse without being hounded. After 10 minutes we discussed our requirements. Old house 1830's but wanted a modern day look and style. Abby was amazing, huge amount of knowledge and easy to talk to. Well today our furniture arrived on time, after 8 weeks. We were told 8 to 10 weeks as it was a specialist piece. Communication was very good throughout. Delivery drivers were friendly. They handled with care. Worth the wait we are so happy with the furniture. Will be returning. Thank you Abby.
