Well I paid for a book it was sent …
Well I paid for a book it was sent quickly but only talking 2 days to reach France .DHL in there wisdom took 8 days to deliver from Nice to my location , a distance of less then 50 miles.
Happy with Transair.....annoyed at DHL

Mostly good, just a few niggles
The product was well-packaged, the website acceptable (even if mostly HTTP and old-looking) and the price reasonable in aviation terms.
I was just a little disappointed at the time it took Transair to actually dispatch and deliver the items, Monday to Thursday. When you're making an order as big as I was (over £300) it would have been nice to have included free 24-hour shipping or something.
I'm also not a massive fan of companies that actively ask for TrustPilot reviews because it's gaming the system really, as you're adding an excessive number of positive reviews from the majority of satisfied customers, drowning out those who have had problems.

We received your order on the Sunday evening and it was despatched to you the following day. As the value of your order was over £250 it was sent on a free 2 to 3 day service. According to the Royal Mail tracking information it was delivered to you 2 days later on the Wednesday.

This is the first time I've used Transair; I've found their service prompt, efficient and very fair. I ordered an RAF historical DVD which, unfortunately, turned out to be no longer available. However I was offered a choice of two replacements. This I found to be ample and generous compensation, reflecting very well on the company. I'm a very satisfied customer and will return to, and recommend the site again.

This time the product arrived in time …
This time the product arrived in time but was slightly damaged in transit.
The tail rotor had lost one of its blades due to poor internal packaging.
The blade was loose in the box so I was able to fix it with a small amount of superglue but I thought I would mention it.
