I recently visited the Falmouth branch and I must say that I did feel the aisle's were very close together considering we are in a pandemic. I was looking for a soft toy to take to my God son's daughter well the selection of soft toys was very limited. I know it was the back end of June but come on young children like soft toys no matter what time of year. After looking through as I say a poor selection I did manage to find one. Then headed to the tills only to be meet by a rather obnoxious security person who told me you must go round that way to get to the tills despite know one being at the tills so I had to walk down 2 aisles just to get to the till to pay!

Traygo 2 wheels.

Absolutely the most useless people on the planet, haven't a bloody clue about anything, pushy sales n zero after care.
Probably the best thing thy could do is shut up shop n go back to what ever the morons are good at 🤔 I'm sure they have to be good something but bikes is not it

I visited Tragomills at Liskeard today to purchase four dining chairs, the chairs were sold in pairs so l requested two pairs, the price list on the table which has three of the chairs l wanted round it only stated fabric chairs at £139.99 per pair which mine were.
I went to pay for the items on the receipt was written 2 pair of dining chairs £199.99 l queried this twice with a member of staff and were told that it was for two pair.
On collection the warehouse man said l had only paid for one pair and took me back into the shop, l queried the price list for my chairs which were called Ruby Red fabric chairs no where in the department was a price for this chair on display, then one of the assistants notice a very small tag on one of the chairs quoting the price, the tag was one inch in size. I didn't get an apology or an offer of a voucher for their pricing error, l reluctantly paid for the other two chairs but was not very amused.

Trago Merthyr. Went to the brickwork cafe and there's a table at the entrance asking you to write down your name and phone number. Then place it in the basket for anyone else to to take out! Have you not heard of GDPR and ensuring secure storage of data?

Visited tragomills Newton abbot today found the staff helpful in side but very different when you go and pick your item up outside in the drive threw I felt like I was a inconvenience bad manners then when we got to the barrier to go we had to wait five minutes while the two members of staff stood there and finished there conversation very rude won't be going again I will pay the extra it cost to get it on line instead you think with everything that gone on they be glad to back at work

I went to trago mills merthyr tydfil and seen a brand new motorbike so i went to staff bought the bike
Lexmoto 380 lxr it was to be dellivered on saturday
Stayed in all day and bike wasnt dellivered no phone call to let me know they wernt comeing so i phoned them and was informed that bike had fallen over in van
I dont know wat damage was done as when i phoned
the staff told me different things each time another twice they let me down when i fineally received bike
When bike is put on sidestand the bike was to upright as trago shut for covid i got intouch with lexmoto and they got in touch with trago two seperate times and when shop reopened one man from behind the counter phoned me and said my bike will be first thing to be sorted that was the last thing i hered of them and that was when shop reopened at least two moths ago and my bike is in garae it is a 2020 bike that has 6.5 miles on it as it blows over in the wind so bike is not fit for purpose so they need to do the right thing and get me a replacement bike

I recently visited Trago Mills Falmouth branch to buy a new lawnmower. The rudeness of a member of the security staff 'instructing' me to put a face mask on made me turn around and leave, never to return.

Visited Trago Mills in Cornwall whilst on holiday a few years ago and it was a nice afternoon, so we’re back in the West Country again and visited Trago Mills Newton Abbott, what an awful place. What few staff there were, either ignored you or if they did deign to speak to you were rude. When I eventually found the toilets, outside, seriously they needed updating and cleaning. This place looks downtrodden as if no one cares about it.

Appalling stood and waited at DIY section for half hour despite there being a call put out for help no one came abandoned trolley and went to B&Q where there's actual staff to help you ..trago mills service is am absolute joke !!!!!! If you can't cope with opening during covid do everyone a favour and stay shut !!!!

My experience of trago mills has got to be very good, yes they are a very busy store and staff are rushed off their feet, but they were extremely helpful when I purchased some carpet.
I needed some more carpet and they dealt with my purchase by phone. The manager was brilliant, the prices are excellent and I could not fault their service.

by chance following covid guidelines spoke to natalie and pete who are the animal keepers at newton abbot store wildlife park. at this time my wife and i needed some advise on peafowl keeping as we are quite new to this. We were very impressed with their passion dealing with all animals in their care and the time they both imparted in giving us very sound advise.Thankyou again and we hope that your animal centre opens shortly and be successful.jenny and dave from maidencombe

People clearly like to moan about this place on trustpilot, probably because it's a totally different shopping experience to any other and it must put them out of their comfort zone who knows.. So as someone who has had a mostly positive experience over the years I thought I'd say my bit. So regarding the only negatives, all I have to say is that I've noticed the odd person working there who isn't the most upbeat but on the other hand others have been extremely helpful, I choose not to get offended by it they are just working hard.. And you may notice the odd area that seems slightly outdated you could say, but it looks like they've been addressing it a lot over the years.. it all adds to the charm of the place I feel! The positives for me are that there are a lot of bargains to be had, and you'll end up leaving with items you never knew you needed! From camping equipment to arts and crafts, pretty much anything. Not to mention the fun activities there are to be had, making it perfect for all the family. Places like this need to be treasured, unless we all want to be ruled by amazon and the like!.. Also I rely on the quite recently built timber store at Newton Abbot.. I feel the prices there can't be beaten and there is a good selection so 5 stars all round 👍

Emailed trago mills liskeard with a query only expecting an email replay.
The deputy store manager phoned me the next morning with an answer to my question.
I did not expect this level of service especially during lockdown. Thankyou Trago Mills for your speed and efficiency

Never in my life have I ever been treated so bad , 1st suite took 4 months then meant to turn up yesterday, no show turned up this morning refused to drive in car park I live on a 3rd floor flat and registered disabled they just dumped all my suite in the car park, I begged them to help me with it as there is a lift, I offered to pay them they them they said no and just dumped it, I have to pay someone £50 to get it to my flat I just feel like crying absolutely disgusting treatment

Today the shop was packed with that many people that we had to leave our basket and leave the shop due to a lack of people in the tills I’m absolutely disgusted with the cue that we were asked to wait in

Ordered a bathroom suite on the 15th October 2020 to be delivered and still have not heard anything after ringing two times.
No communication whatsoever. This was at the Falmouth branch.

Customer service and care that cannot be beaten.
I recently purchased a pair of WATERPROOF KARRIMOR BOOTS from Trago. The boots are not at all waterproof and it's impossible to contact Karrimor.
Anyway, after a short phone call to Jon at Trago, it's all been sorted painlessly.

Went to buy a camping bbq today priced on shelf at 18.74 when I got to till it was 24.99 ... complained about price to be told not our fault short staffed... and told they wouldnt sell to me at marked price they would just take it off sale .... well done trago mills trading standards would be very interested in this I am sure ... another customer lost

Beware, they advertise items on their website at prices that are not matched in store. Bought paint advertised at £19.99 which was actually £28.49 (Dearer than it's rivals). Realised after buying and emailed Tragomills who altered their website straight away but never responded to my email despite another reminder email requesting an explanation.

Be aware, check your not buying SECONDS, I have bought rugs that have serious marks and are without doubt seconds, but getting a refund without being told you have to take a instore voucher rather than a legal refund within 30 days of buying product, (Consumer act 2015) this company are a utter discrace, Merthyr Tydfil, I will only buy if I know I won't have to return the product, don't trust this company to protect your consumer wrights, they're an utter discrace!.
