Bought an item online
Bought an item online. Order was canceled because they couldnt deliver to my house. Once I inquired, they said I could go pick it up at any store. I laughed at the attempt of an apology that they offered. Saying that they understand, etc. LIES! They take your money, hold it for a week, then give it back to you so that YOU have to go pick up the item. Best part, they "shipped" my item to the wrong store, so I still dont have my item! All I got was "10% off your next purchase" HA HA HA. What a joke! If my business did that, ! would be out of business!

Horrendous experience from start to finish! it's so ridiculous that they keep the gift giver's name a secret and when they send stuff in the mail I have no way of knowing who to thank! Their system and site are extremely wonky and were missing lots of stuff I scanned in-store. And the biggest issue is that they lie about their return policy!!!! They claim I can return gifts but they will not let you do it in-store because "there's no receipt" which they NEVER EVER PROVIDE IN THE PACKAGES THEY SENT!!!!!! Completely unacceptable and disgusting!!!

Never ever get anything from them, very bad after sales customer service and careless manager , who was informed that the oculus would be repaired but waited that the warranty is finished to tell me that it’s not possible as the vendor didn’t accept. He didn’t want to submit that he didn’t do the necessary before warranty was finished and dragged me many time to mirdif city center to try the oculus that was not repaired at all and then to tell me to pick the item as it is….what a respect towards customers ! I hope the higher management would do something…

On november 22 I ordered two switch and go cars to be shipped to Victoria. For Some reason they decided to ship them seperately. One has been delivered and one seems to be still sitting in Calgary at Intelcom for the last 6 days. Only way to speak to someone at toys r us was chat. Totally unhelpful. Gave me the tracking number and told me to wait another few days and check again. I already had these numbers and gave them to ToysRus. Only thing I find on Intelcom is that it is Calgary on nov.23. Nothing new. Toysrus wont even check where my shipment is. They sure took my money fast though.
Will not be ordering with them again.
Toys R Us is a horrible company
Toys R Us is a horrible company. They don’t allow you to pick up large items in store, and make extra $ by making you pay a shipping fee (which is upwards of $80). Customer service will not help you.
I did my baby registry here and they also don’t allow you to put large items on it so you can’t get the completion discount they “offer”.
I’d use Amazon - they have the same things and shipping/service is great.
Great Experience
I Called Toys R Us SHERWAY GARDENS location to find out if they had a Light Up Globe. I Spoke to KLAY. He was very nice and helpful. He found the globe. Klay went the extra mile to take my phone number in case we got disconnected. He knew I was driving a distance, and reassured me that the globe would be there for me at the front desk when I got to the store. And it was. It was in perfect condition.

Compre un tarjeta regalo ( mi dinero) por valor de 50€ quise pagar con ella, es decir utilizarla como método de pago y como tenían promociones en la tienda por el black friday, me decían que no se podían acumular promociones, que acumular promociones si mis 50€ me los he gastado yo y solo quería pagar con la tarjeta regalo, sus aplicaciones informáticas están obsoletas, pero la atención al cliente por parte del servicio de reclamaciones es penosa

Damaged and unpackaged
Recieved my parcel - a large water table which was a suprise for my sons Christmas present, in absolutely no delivery packaging so you could see what the item was, and absolutely damaged and battered. My son saw the item immediately ruining his suprise, and on emailing Toys R Us to complain, I was offered a £3 refund (on a £60 item!) Terrible service.

I was trying for a few hours and still failed in processing my online order. I tried contacting the live chat and the employee seemed helpful, but the real issues - their own broken website - was not addressed. I was informed a few times that the problem was "due to my own inaccurate input of the data" which in reality never happened. The website kept doubling the ordered items and dropping the information off the payment page, so I quit with a bitter feeling and decided to make my purchase at some other place.
Buyer Beware!
It’s been many many years since I last shopped at this place, but I should have remembered how bad they are and not bothered giving them a second chance! They delivered the wrong item, then trying to return it was so much hassle. Emails unanswered etc etc etc. Not worth the hassle at all.

I placed an order online which never arrived. When I chased delivery I was advised that it wasn’t in stock and a refund was issue but only after I’d chased it! I received conf of order and delivery info for an order that was never in stock. When they asked for feedback it was duly given and then they refused to publish it because it made them look bad!

I placed the order for my sons birthday and it was only when I chased the delivery that I was told it had been cancelled as it wasn’t in stock! A refund followed shortly but not before massive inconvenience was caused

I submitted a 2-star review for a product I received last week. The low rating was due to poor accountability for a PAID shipping experience, and the fact that the item, which was meant to be a gift, came in ripped packaging.
A few days later, I received an email indicating that my review had been moderated - as in, they were not going to post my review online. The email I received said "it doesn’t meet [Toys R Us] current website posting guidelines". This is censorship and I am appalled that after asking for my review, this is the response I received. I took the time to offer other customers my honest opinion and instead, was silenced. How absolutely ridiculous!

J'avais peur a l'idee que cette marchandise soit indisponible. J'ai fait le suivi depuis et recu un service au dela de mes attentes. Les employées avaient de l'écoute, la patience, la compréhension et de l'empathie pour moi. Je precise que c'était que des femmes. De mon côté j'ai entamé des démarches également. J'ai envoyé des courriels a votre fournisseur. Aujourd'hui le 26 aout 2023 la commande a finalement pu se faire. Il reste plus qu'attendre la livraison a votre magasin de Gatineau. Il est important pour moi de vous partager ces informations. Votre équipe a Laval, Sherbrooke et de Gatineau ont su bien m'accompagner tout le long de ce processus. my daughter has her registry set up for the baby she's expecting, but so far two purchases have been shipped directly to my daughter without ANY INFORMATION in regards to who it came from. my friend that ordered one of the items also said she did not receive any notification of the item shipping or being received.
ii would NOT recommend their baby registry to anyone. amazon can do the same, and you get notifications. My daughter is sitting with a nice giftbox of items and zero idea who it is from.

Una verdadera estafa, pedí un triciclo que llegaba supuestamente en una semana, pasado esa semana no llegó nada, llamo pregunto y me dice que tardarán unos días en ponerse en contacto con el proveedor después de esos días cinco para ser exactos me mandan un correo y un mensaje con la cancelación del pedido sin poner motivo alguno llamo y me dicen que no hacen envíos a Canarias. Mi pregunta ahora es para cobrar si cobran y para devolver tardan unos días y no pueden mejor informar directamente antes de hacer la venta que el proveedor ese no llega a Canarias? Y encima el viernes pido una hoja de reclamaciones que me dicen que llegará a mi correo a lo largo del día la cual nunca llegó y hoy martes vuelvo a pedirla y me contestan lo mismo. Vamos a ver si esta vez si llega para poder poner una reclamación ya que me han dejado sin el regalo que tenía pensado hacer a mi hijo por si cumpleaños.
