Bien sur c'est comme partout, les aides sociales sont un passe droit et la seule critique est celle de refus de faire une réduction sous prétexte qu'il manque un document.
J ai une solution pour vous, c'est celle de travailler si votre condition physique vous le permet. Je suis sans diplôme et je ne suis jamais resté plus de 3 mois au chômage. Coment rester 20 mois sans rien trouver ?

Worthless. Tried for 2 weeks to buy online tickets with different creditcards. Errors all over. Only response from customer service: "You probably typed in a wrong number".
To be short, impossible to buy tickets. No service (even the contact form on the website is not working). You would expect attractions like this to have their shit together....

In my honest opinion, making this a prime attraction to dedicate your precious travel time and hard-earned money to is not just overrated; it's an utterly unnecessary endeavor.

The entire process of gaining access is a testament to its over-commercialization. The Eiffel Tower notoriously overbooks its reservations, whether you're aiming for the first floor, the second, or the highly coveted summit. This leads to frustratingly long queues, crowded spaces, and a general sense of being herded rather than experiencing a world-renowned landmark. And then there's the journey itself: ascending in the lifts. It's truly baffling to witness grown adults, seemingly having never encountered an elevator before, incessantly videoing their ascent as if it were some groundbreaking technological marvel. This detracts from any potential sense of wonder and transforms what should be a unique experience into a mundane, albeit claustrophobic, ride.

Frankly, this magnificent iron lady should be left to serve its true purpose: an exquisite visual trinket for the city of Paris. Its beauty is best absorbed from afar – from the comfort of a charming Parisian apartment, a cozy hotel room with a view, or a leisurely stroll through a nearby park. From these vantage points, its grandeur and intricate design truly shine, untainted by the commercial chaos within. Anyone who succumbs to the pressure, or gets "suckered into" purchasing tickets to go inside, is, regrettably, just burning their money. I cannot stress this enough: the internal experience of the Eiffel Tower is simply not worth the financial outlay.

Consider, for a moment, what constitutes a truly worthwhile tourist attraction, a place where your money genuinely buys you an enriching, memorable experience. Think of the awe-inspiring Giza Pyramids in Egypt, steeped in millennia of history and mystery. Or the sprawling, meticulously curated Kew Gardens in London, a botanical wonderland. Imagine the sheer historical weight of monuments like the legendary Statue of Zeus in ancient Greece. Even a simple hike to the iconic Hollywood sign offers a unique perspective and a sense of accomplishment.

Then there are the cultural powerhouses: any Madame Tussauds museum offers interactive fun; the vast collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the British Museum in London, or the Academy of Motion Picture Art Museum in Los Angeles provide unparalleled educational and artistic immersion. Relying on overpriced, underwhelming tourist experiences to sustain it feels less like preservation and more like a calculated scam.

In conclusion, admire the Eiffel Tower, photograph it, let it be the picturesque backdrop to your Parisian dreams. But please, resist the urge to go inside. Your wallet, your sanity, and your overall travel experience will thank you.

The staff are extremely rude and ignorant, but once you get past them then the structure is well worth a visit. The stairs are HELL but are cheap for admission. The food/drink prices are of course astronomical for a captive audience. I’d say go once. Pay for the lift, do all three floors and make it a one off special experience

J’ai effectué une visite de la Tour Eiffel avec un billet Escalier le 27 février 2025.
Bénéficiant du Rsa, j’ai présenté un justificatif de la Caf stipulant l’accord de la Caf pour percevoir le Rsa à compter du mois de février 2025, ainsi qu’une pièce d’identité.
Le justificatif m’a été refusé, en m’indiquant qu’il faut une attestation de paiement de la Caf, or ceci n’est pas spécifiquement stipulé sur leur site internet : ”Disponible uniquement sur place. Le tarif RSA est appliqué aux bénéficiaires détenteurs d'une attestation de la CAF datant de moins de 6 mois et aux autres ayant droits mentionnés au justificatif (autre bénéficiaire, enfants à charge).”
Je suis dans l’incompréhension d’une telle inflexibilité face à une personne déjà en situation de précarité. J’ai perdu mon emploi il y a 20 mois.
Ils demandent un justificatif de la Caf datant de moins de 6 mois, j’ai présenté un justificatif de la Caf de moins de 6 mois (février 2025). J’ai marché 1h30 pour me rendre sur le site de la Tour Eiffel. Ne souhaitant pas avoir fait le déplacement inutilement, j’ai par conséquent pris un ticket payant à 14.50€ alors que mon entrée devait être gratuite.
Ayant fait une réclamation au service client, on m'a re-demandé un justificatif de la Caf, ce que j'ai renvoyé, pour qu'on me dise que je ne suis PAS bénéficiaire du Rsa, malgré les documents adressés qui prouvent le contraire. Le service client a ensuite choisi d'ignorer tout simplement les mails de relance.
C'est une discrimination volontaire injustifiée.
Je poste cet avis afin que d'autres personnes soient informées et ne subissent pas le même traitement.

Appalling customer service for disabled service users - not sure they comply with current equality legislation but will definitely be following this up! Only giving one star as zero not am option.
Despite many backward and forward emails since the 3rd Jan, three telephone calls costing £22,50 from my mobile and still no resolution. Not even the courtesy of a call back despite 6 requests and promises to resolve the problem.Not only that but totally ignored requests to furnish details of the highest level of complaint details.

Superbe lieu, il n'y a rien à dire. Seulement après la trêve des jeux olympiques les vendeurs à la sauvette et autre du genre ont réinvesti les lieux, c'est déplorable !

Visite de la Tour Eiffel déplorable : absence de sécurité et de forces de l’ordre, présence de bandes de jeunes troublant l’ordre public, odeurs de drogue, personnes ivres, bagarres,vendeurs à la sauvette ect… Une honte de voir notre patrimoine laissé à l’abandon !

Site web désastreux. Impossible de réserver des tickets en ligne malgré de nombreux essais avec diffèrents navigateurs et cartes de paiement. 45 min de perdues sur le site et 30 minutes pour le guichet ticket sur place.

En visite sur Paris, impossible d'acheter les billets sur le site officiel ( 10 et 11 oct 2024).
Après réclamation, il m'est indiqué que le site connait des problèmes, de continuer d'essayer. Bientôt 48 hrs et impossible de payer les billets, 10-15 mns pour tout remplir et rien ne se passe, le vide total !
Autre réclamation, et on me répond " désolé", on me conseille de venir faire la queue, de préférence après 20h, quelle blague !
Vive le service à la française sur un des endroits le plus réputés de Paris. Quelle honte !
Ah oui, on peut acheter sur d'autres sites, en général au double du prix. Nous n'irons donc pas.

Website is misleading and terrible customer service.
Website advises to pre purchase a ticket but the elevator was sold out so it advises to but stairs and then get elevator tickets on arrival. but they charge it double, tried to speak to customer service but the lack customer resolution and basically just overcharge people. To avoid ruining the experience I had to purchase new tickets as it was impossible to take the stairs up two floors with a three year old.Shame the Frances most famous monument sin the hands of useless, money grabbing people lacking customer service and customer resolution!

By the time I attempted to rebook, the event was sold out. Instead of providing a reasonable solution—like manually adding me to the booking as a gesture of goodwill—they simply suggested I line up and hope for the best. The lack of proactive customer service was disappointing, especially given that the error was on their end.

Great views, prices are not so bad comparw to othet things in Paris. A lot of stairs to go on, but in the end it is worth it. Come early as much as you can because later you will have to wait for the big lines to enter the park and Eiffel Tower. Bring drinks because you will need it. Also you can buy drinks and food on the first floor, and on the second floor you have souveniers shop. Great expirience and views, and must visit when you are in Paris!

I recently visited the Eiffel Tower and was quite disappointed with the experience. The lines were incredibly long, and the wait time was much longer than expected. Once we finally made it to the top, it was extremely crowded, making it difficult to enjoy the view.

The prices for tickets and refreshments were exorbitant, and the overall atmosphere felt very commercialized and lacking in charm. Additionally, the area around the tower was swarming with aggressive vendors, which detracted from the experience.

Overall, the visit did not live up to the hype and was more stressful than enjoyable. I would recommend finding other, less crowded spots in Paris to appreciate the city's beauty.

Nous passons la sécurité, une dame, qui me parle mais en tournant la tête vers son collègue et forcément je n’entends pas et comprends pas ce qu’elle me dit, je le fais remarquer à ma famille et là cette femme n’aime pas que je parle d’elle, elle commence à s’emporter, me fait vider mon sac entièrement je suis la seule à être obliger d’enlever même jusqu’à ma petite culotte de mon sac parce que madame ne devait pas être bien luné ce matin.
Aimable comme une porte de prison. À revoir au niveau du personnel de l’entrée c’est honteux.
N’oubliez pas que vous êtes un lieu touristique et que la moindre des choses c’est le respect que vous devez aux personnes si vous même vous voulez le respect.

Different organized crime gangs around the Eiffel Tower, which are not tolerated by the police elsewhere in the city. The police is obviously not the one in charge. It looks like they have deals or agreements. Fake fundraising and pickpocket happens openly. Aggressive street vendors as well. But ball/Cup game and bracelet scam are harder to spot. I noticed the group responsible for that but they did not play it. There are as many scammers as toutists. It really is a minefield. Much different from other tourist attractions in Paris. Eiffel tower almost seems pickpocket and scam paradise

Ne mm pas tenter de réserver les billets car ils ne savent pas gérer une mise à jour de prix. Le support par e-mail fait des e-mails auto mais ne répond pas que le pb sera réglé le lendemain. Et surtout les billets en avancent semblent n être dispo que chez les revendeurs (qui se font le double). On peut se demander comment ils font…. (De mon cotée j ai bien une idée).
