OK, so they sent the wrong product, but they were very quick to send the correct item and uplift the wrong item. I can't fault their customer service an the quality of the product seems good. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. :-)

If I’d read the reviews first I probably wouldn’t have used them but in my case the item I ordered, a piece of sheet steel for vehicle repair, arrived promptly, was well packaged and was of really high quality. The man who is doing the welding is very pleased with the material I’ve provided for him.

I ordered 15 metres of green pvc coated mesh. They sent me plain galvanized mesh instead. I have sent them 4 emails, and spent hours trying to get through on the phone - nothing. I need this mesh urgently in order to stop my dog getting out onto the road, and the mesh they have sent is useless as it would look awful. I am now saddled with 40 quid's worth of the wrong item, something I can ill afford. Will appeal to Paypal to see if they can help, but would warn everyone not to deal with this company.

Placed an order almost 2 weeks ago, got the 'Order complete' email shortly after and then nothing at all. No parcel, nothing.

They never answer the phone, ever. Emails to them get returned by the postmaster saying that the recipients mailbox is full?
Absolutely the worst company I've ever dealt with. Will never use again.

Steer well clear if you have any sense.

I've been dealing with this company having ordered mesh to replace a back door insect screen. They've been beyond helpful. Yes there was a delay due to a hermes issue. But they follow up quickly and try thier best to fix the issue. I don't really need much from them and I'm sure it will be fixed in the end. What I do know is they deserve better reviews for trying to get issues resolved. So they get 5 stars from me for trying. Thank you team at the mesh company.

The small piece of mesh I ordered took over two weeks to arrive as the original shipment appeared to get lost. Follow up by the sales team was good if a bit slow. Seems to be a small firm which deserves a break.

Nightmare company to deal with, mesh roll ordered wasn't shipped, phoned them directly five times took ten days to arrive, caused great inconvenience as had to postpone installer several times, the mesh was needed urgently due to rat infestation. You have been warned

Ordered some mesh and after 3 weeks of no delivery I contacted the company only to be told it wasn’t in stock. So when exactly were you going to contact me and let me know? No apology. Now waiting for a refund. Will never use them again.

Ordered mesh rolls on 7th April 2021 via eBay. The company claim to have fast and secure delivery. I can only assume secured means tracked. Item didn't arrive on the estimated delivery date. Emailed and corresponded with an individual by the name of "Chris Platt". Had been told the item is with Hermes Courier. Asked for the tracking number and when received and checked on Hermes website, it stated that they were still to receive the item from the seller. Emailed The Mesh Company again and Chris informed me that they may not have scanned the item and it may be in transit still on route to be delivered. Received nothing and emailed again. Chris said he will contact Hermes and find out what has happened and that a replacement has been sent. Asked he following day what Hermes had responded and advised that they hadn't got back to The Mesh Company. Asked for tracking number of replacement and was provided with a message saying it is on the way. Asked again for the tracking number and if that was not possible, to refund me. Received no response from the buyer. Had to get eBay involved and was willing to show the messages back and forth. Chris then emailed within 10 minutes of me getting eBay involved and said that the item will be refunded and if a replacement arrived, to contact them so a courier can be arranged to pick it up.

The Mesh Company has many negative reviews on ebay where buyers have had similar problems. And The Mesh Company seem to blame Hermes. I receive many packages from Hermes and have never ever had an issue with them. I really wish I read the reviews about this company online and I could have saved myself so much hassle.

I actually paid £10 more for the items from another seller and received it the next day. And guess what...Hermes delivered it.

Avoid this Company at all costs. They can't blame Covid as The Mesh Company blamed Hermes. You can't blame Hermes if they are waiting for you to provide them with the item.

Stay clear of this company. I ordered a peice of mesh from their speciality metals website, all items in stock ship by 3pm, even ordered with 48 hours tracked. You get invoiced and debited saying that your order is complete, but nothing ever arrives, no one answers emails and no one answers the telephone. Had to put in a claim with PayPal to get refunded. Many similar reviews on their fb page and ebay shop. Save yourself some pain and shop elsewhere.

Still waiting for my order. Had an invoice weeks after it was ordered to say it had been processed but a month on still waiting. Tried every phone number, email and left answer phone message but no answer and no response. I said I would work with them if there was difficulties but nothing. AVOID!!!!!!!!

I had the same experience with Mesh as reviewer 'Andy'. Placed an order, waited a couple of days, got a receipt saying 'your order is completed' and then nothing. I contacted their carrier, but they can do nothing without a tracking number.
Mesh are not responding to any emails, and their phone just rings and rings.
However, I have now received the item OK but still with no acknowledgement from Mesh.

Wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered. Like many before, order placed, payment taken, they immediate emailed an invoice and comment that 'your order is complete'. Then nothing. No delivery. No communication. They answered the phone once but couldn't tell me the order status because of 'system issues'. The phone just rings and rings with no response. Sadly I am the latest in a long line of people who have suffered the same fate. Dispute raised with Paypal for a refund. Disgraceful people.

Update: after I raised a complaint with Paypal I finally received an email from Mesh asking if I had received the product (who doesn't track shipments these days - I'm almost certain never shipped!). Then a final mail apologising: 'can only assume lost in transit', coupled with 'we have had to temporarily close due to 2 cases of covid, we'll refund you when we are back'.

That was 2 weeks ago and no further contact and no refund.

Happily Paypal have now judged the dispute in my favour and have refunded me.

Without doubt the worst business I have ever dealt with!

I haven't had a bad experience whatsoever... ordered direct with the website for a very competitively priced order which arrived a day ahead of schedule... many of the complaints on Trustpilot seem to centre around delayed delivery which seem overly harsh.

Ordered mesh on 14th October and received email saying it would be delivered next day. Tracking for Dx AWFUL. Emailed and phoned. Promised a replacement would be sent and would arrive next day. Received message from DPD that my order had been cancelled. Received text from DX saying it would be dead today.!Unable to track. Phoned company who were also able to track. Absolute disaster. I needed this mesh urgently to finish an aviary. I do not recommend this coming at all. Amateurs who do not have a clue what they are doing. Why say next day delivery when still not there a week later. This company should no longer be in business. They will probably blame this fiasco on COVID lol

I'd looked for reviews on here because like several others, there was no sign of my order, no answer to emails and many attempts to phone were never answered.

BUT.....

Eventually I did get through. They explained the problems, all down to reduced staffing due to Covid 19 and sent my order promptly. Very happy with the quality of their products. They handle thousands of orders a week very successfully but inevitably, unhappy people post reviews whilst satisfied customers generally don't.

So, they aren't operating a scam like some have speculated on here. They were simply run ragged at the start of difficult times due to virus restrictions but should be OK now. I'm about to order more from them.

I found I was using a phone number (from my invoice) which isn't their main number. So the number to call is 01925 406602. Hope this helps.

I’m going to warrington tomorrow so I will call in to get a refund.

Have been waiting 3 weeks for mesh that was supposed to be delivered within a week. I have wasted plenty of time chasing them to be promised several replacements, which never arrived either. The tracking number supplied for the replacement was dated before they allegedly sent it out! I would not use this company again and will submit a claim in due course.

I thought that I should put a post on here because my recent order just arrived very quickly, accurate as described (generous sizing) and well packed. It all seemed very professional. The only scope I could see for possible problems is that Hermes left it in my recycle bin, although in fairness they did pop a note through the door.
So hopefully if The Mesh Company had a problem in the past, they've fixed it. Or maybe I got lucky. Bit wary of Hermes...
And to pre-empt possible comments, no I have no connection whatsoever with this company apart from having ordered from them.
